Muchas de estas amenazas pueden presentarse de manera concatenada o compleja. Se consideran amenazas mltiples. Un sismo,
por ejemplo, puede ocasionar la ruptura de ductos de gas y esto
ocasionar incendios; un deslizamiento puede generar represamiento en un ro y crear una avalancha; enfrentamientos armados
