Warm up activity: Ultimate soccer
- Set up the same as any ultimate game. No steps. Use any item. Emphasize the positives of
ball movement.
Proper passing practice
- Line up across from their partner or have them move around inside designated area.
Inside both feet, outside both feet. Increase distance
Passing keep away
- Have groups of 5, 4 people on the outside and 1 on the inside. 4 on the outside cannot
move and have to see how many passes they can complete before they lose control of the
ball or the person in the middle get it. Modified, defender only needs a touch. Make it 3 on
2.
Modified game play
- Nets are cones three feet apart, every player needs to touch the ball in order to have a shot

someones ball gets stolen then they go outside of the designated area and have to do 5
jumping jacks to get back in the game.

Basic cone dribbling

Have students either dribble around cones or themselves by using different methods:
inside, outside, roll over, speed.

Modified gameplay
