Redesign Plan
Product name: Magic: The Gathering Trading Card Land
Booster Packs.
Target group: Primarily Teen to Adult Males, more generally
those that play Magic already and are needing more Land
cards in their decks.
Brief history: Magic: The Gathering is a playable, strategy
trading card game that was first printed in 1993, by Wizards
of the Coast. Wizards of the Coast is a strong fantasy gaming
company responsible for both Magic: The Gathering which
is the first strategy trading card game leading to the many
types that we have today, as well as Dungeons and Dragons
the leading table top role playing game. Wizards of the Coast
is a part of the Hasbro family and a major player in the
analog gaming community.
Big idea: With Magic: The Gathering, Land cards are
instrumental in building a deck. Without them, a deck cannot
function. With too little, the deck will not work effectively.
Wizards of the Coast does not sell packs of Land cards; they
come in starter packs and pre-built packs. My design is to
create a line of packs that work alongside any preexisting
packs while working on their own to work for any deck.

The Magic Logo is to be used for titles.
It should be displayed larger than most
other items, near the top and centered.
This is the product logo.
The Wizards logo should be displayed
smaller on the back of products. This is
the company logo.

In this strategy game, you play with decks of

illustrated cards instead of a board. These
collectable cards represent magical spells and
fantastic creatures.
