Job Description:
Reports and assist the project safety manager in the overall implementation of approved project
Safety/Loss Prevention program, compliance to OSHA STANDARD, with primary function of
performing continuous monitoring at work site to ensure continuing conformance of field work
force.
Supervise and monitors the performance of safety officers in the field and extends guidance as
necessary in carrying out their assigned functional duties and responsibility.
Maintains a completes and up-to-date record of safety Inspections/Reports, Competent/Certified
personnel, Rigging Equipment Certification/Test Certificate, Heavy Equipment third party
inspections, safety statistics and other required pertinent document.
Coordinate for safety, health, security, and environment issues with clients counterpart in the
fields that concern or affect day-to-day operation.
Be fully familiar with the project specific established emergency procedures and ensure that the
same are fully conveyed to site employees in his respective area of coverage.
Determine the cause of any incident including near misses and recommend means of preventing
their recurrence.
Assist the Site Manager / Superintendent in the recording and analysis of information on injuries,
damage and production loss.
Assist the Site Manager / Superintendent in Assessing incident trends, serious safety violations
and reviews overall safety performance.
Keep up to date with the recommended codes of practice and safety literature. Circulate
information applicable to each level of employees.
Assist site safety manager / superintendent in training employees of selected disciplines.
