Overview / Scope
Construct Klarman Hall, a 67,500 gross square foot addition to Goldwin
Smith Hall including an Atrium, 330-seat Auditorium, office and meeting
space and a new caf. The new space will be connected to Goldwin Smith
Hall at the ground first and second floors.
Construct site utilities, shoring and underpinning to permit excavation for
concrete foundations and slabs on grade. Construct steel superstructure,
stone cladding and glass and aluminum curtainwall and store front; metal
framed skylights. Construct the atrium roof and facades to be installed by
Josef Gartner USA as the single source vendor.
Construct interior finishes of drywall, stone and acoustic panels, glass and
aluminum windows and doors and wood doors. Floor finishes are carpet
and colored polished concrete floor for Atrium.
Pursue LEED Platinum certification.
