Why did Bihar vote for Nitish and not BJP?

At first I would like to clarify that JDU wining 72 and RJD winning 80 seats
does not mean that people have given more support to RJD. It simply means
that the seats in which RJD contested were relatively easier to win than the
seats that JDU contested.
Now, at first the people were unhappy with BJP. they were unhappy with
scrapping of indira awas yojna, they were unhappy with largely reduced
mnrega funds, they were unhappy with huge budget cuts in education &
increasing of fees & scrapping of fellowships, they were unhappy with
doubling of prices of foodgrains, the poor people of Bihar were unhappy
because they realised that BJP govt was in fact not pro poor. Most of the
people of Bihar struggle for basic amenities. They will not buy into lofty ideas
of expressways and bullet trains. Majority of bihar has no need for things like
bullet trains while they struggle for food, housing, education & health. And
they did not recieve much, but in fact lost quite a bit of basic needs.
while on the other hand, under Nitish , bihar made wondrous progress in
terms of education and health. now, almose every panchayat has a primary
health center at costs which everyone can afford, now, large no of teachers
who used to teach at private schools are now in govt schools and helping
build up the nation, now no of children not going to school has decreased
from 16% to 1.5%, now doctors who used to spend almost all time in private
clinics have got compulsory duties in govt hospitals doing public service.
now, the electricity has reached almost every village which was a rare entity
before, now agricultural production of almost every food grains has doubled
benifiting in huge amount to a large number of farmer families.also, bihar
experienced tremendous growth in various industries. The industrial growth
has been in many sectors in different parts of Bihar as per the geography of
the area. Also, now almost every home has water fafilities be it in form of
handpump which were not present before. Our CM has promised that now
when people have at least hand pump, its time to proceed and convert every
handpump into taps. Bihar is an extremely backward state and it needs these
kinds of development only which are grounded in reality rather than floating
in outer space. other than this the manifesto of nitish was much more
grounded in reality and according to needs of the people. for all these
reasons and more, people of Bihar chose Nitish Kumar.
Now at last there remains one important issue, what about jungle raj in
Bihar? About jungle raaj, i would say both bjo & rjd are symbols of jungle raaj.
I am not the only one to say this. A BJP MP from Ara, reknowbed and
respected former beurocrat mr. R. K. Singh has also expressed similar
opinions. Jungle raaj in bihar in Lalu era meant terroe and hell life for people
of upper caste. And the jungle raaj of Bjp meant terror and hell life for
muslims much more than what many people faced in lalu's era. Also,
candidates of both of these parties have significant criminal background and
have acquired tickets by buying them with money. This being as it is, in jdu-

bjp govt the muslims did not face the wrath of bjp jungle raaj that much, so, i
hope and trust our current CM that he prevents jungle raaj and maintains the
rule of law more strongly than he did last time..
Now, when the results are declared, let us focus ourselves on completing the
seven goals set by our chief minister for the next five years instead of
complaining.
