COMMON ENTRANCE TEST- DECEMBER 2010
For admission to Diploma in Nautical Science leading to B Sc (Nautical Science)

Instructions to the candidates:


1. Candidates are required to use a good quality HB pencil for writing and blackening the
ovals at specified place on the OMR sheet. However, writing the roll number and
signature should be done in ball pen.
2. The candidates should go through the Test Booklet and answer the questions on OMR
sheet by darkening the relevant circle. There should not be any overwriting or unwanted
impressions on the Test Booklet. The rough work should be done at specified place
marked for the purpose.
3. In case of any doubt, pertaining to filling of general information in OMR sheet,
candidates can approach the invigilator/s for clarification.
4. Candidates are instructed not to open the Test Booklet, till it was asked to do so.
5. The question paper consists of six sections of 30 questions each. Each question carries
one mark and total marks are for 180.
6. Duration of the examination is three hours i.e. between 10.00 am and 01.00 pm.
7. There are no negative marks.
8. Calculators and mobile phones are prohibited in the examination hall.
9. At the end of examination, candidates should handover the OMR Sheet, Test Booklet
and one copy of Hall Ticket to invigilators.
