1895 Eighth Grade Final Exam

ollowing is a century-old 8th grade exam that was passed along to us and we thought that what it showed about our current
ational system was important and needed to be shared.

ou read this, try to see how many of these questions you can answer. Some references, such as tare weight and bushel, have more
ance today than you think. Some are obsolete. Some questions reflect obsolete teaching methods, such as the methods used (or n
today to teach sentence structure.
