Box 815 Lodi, NJ 07644 Re: Amendment to Employment Contract - Prescription Plan Replacement Dear Dr. Quatrone: | have reviewed the employment contract and amendment for Marc A. Capizzi, Business Administrator/Board Secretary, Lodi School District in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:7-8()) and to determine compliance with the standards adopted by the Commissioner of Education at N.J.A.C, 6A:23-3.1. Based upon my review, | have determined that those provisions of the contract and amendment subject to my review are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This contract amendment is approved for the period effective, July 1, 2015, through June 30, 2016. Should there be any changes to the terms of this contract, you will need to submit it to the ‘County Office for review and approval prior to the required public notice and hearing of such Norah E. CAPIZZI BOARD SECRETARY/BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR ‘This Amendment to the Agreement is entered into this day of July, 2015 by and between the LODI BOARD OF EDUCATION (“Board”), and A. The Secretary/Board Administrator also shall be entitled to reimbursement for expenses incurred for attendance at professional conferences and ARTICLE IX. ARTICLE X. ARTICLE XII, similar expenses which he may incur while discharging the duties of ‘Secretary/Business Administrator in accordance with P.L. 2007, c. 53, The School District Accountability Act and affliated regulations. (NISA, 18A:11-12 and NJCA. 6A:23A-7, et seq.) Such reimbursements shall comply with all applicable provisions of state and federal statutory and regulatory provisions and guidance, and with board policy. The Secretary/Business Administrator shall be entitled to attend the annual NISBA/NIASA/NJASBO Workshop and Convention and the annual conference of the~ NJASA/NISBA. Reimbursement or payment for such expenses, shall ba made in accordance with P.L. 2007, c. 53, The School District Accountability Actand affliated regulations and board polices. The cell phone.number shall provided to the Superintendent and other school staff members as determined by the Superintendent. Any modifications/changes to the contract must have the approval of the Executive County Superintendent prior to e approval. REVOCATION ~~ > ~The Parties hereto agree that in the event the Business ‘Administrator's certification Is permanently revoked, all provisions of this Employment Agreement shall be null and void as of the date of the revocation, and if the Business Administrator is lawfully precluded from performing his duties by any Judgment, Order or direction of any court of competent jurisdiction or the Commissioner of Education, all provisions of this Employment Agreement shall terminate and the Business Administrator's employment shall cease. ‘SAVINGS CLAUSE If during the term of the Agreement, it is found that a specific clause Of the contract Is illegal under federal or state law, the remainder of this Agreement not affected by such a ruling shall remain in force. ARTICLE XIII, MODIFICATION CLAUSE The terms and conditions of this Employment Agreement shall not be modified except by the written consent of both Parties hereto and review and approval by the Executive County Superintendent. Any ‘amendments to this Employment Agreement shall not create a new agreement or agreement term but shall only constitute an amendment to the existing Employment Agreement. » } Y Mere.
