ROBOTS TAKING OVER FACTORIES

CEOS IMPLEMENTS NEW TECHNOLOGY TO BOOST

THEIR PRODUCTIVITY
By I. Franco Savariyar

As time progresses, technology and functionality of

everyday life are developing exponentially. However,
there is one place that no one expected to change that
would alter the future of many everyday products. This
place is manufacturing factories, which implement robots
in their factory operations. The use of robots in factories
can drastically change the efficiency of the operations
and the function of the factory. For examples, the robots
that are being implemented in General Motors have
boosted the amount of items manufactured by 25% and it
has also caused the production time of the items of the
company. These statistics provides good insight of how
robotics can improve companies and factories. These
robots can greatly affect the overall structure of
companies. To elaborate, this would cause companies to
change the overall structure of the factory and the style
they used regularly to ship their items.

The implementation of robots can help lower the price of

the item because it is cheaper to develop. This is because
the companies do not have to pay individual workers to
do the job that the robot can now perform these jobs in
seconds. Before the improvements of robots, companies
would not only have to train a worker to do the job. They
would also have to pay the worker to the job well.
Humans can also be inconsistent with their work. This can
cause a product to be ruined or the production to be
slowed down. With the right type of programming and
engineering, this can make all the flaws become obsolete.
As a result, in the near future, companies will focus more
on the research sector and will try to invest in methods
that will decrease the production time and increase the
functionality of the company.

In addition, companies will invest in more computer

science companies, which will further increase the job
market of the company. It will help open up a whole
industry for computer scientists. The increase of the jobs
for computer scientist will help motivate the young
innovators. Consequently, the growth of technology will
increase exponentially and will make the market more
competitive. In the imminent future, companies will start
to become more technologically aware and help boost the
productivity of their production line.

PROTESTORS REJECT THE PROPOSAL OF THE

IMPLEMENTATION OF ROBOTS IN FACTORIES
By I. Franco Savariyar

Although, many companies have made many more technologic advances in the
everyday production of their inventory. This implementation of the technology in
the company have made the manual labor workers obsolete. To elaborate, the
companies find that the implementation and maintenance of the technology would

be better than investing in the laborer workers. These advantages, however come
with a cost for some people. More importantly, for the minimum wage factory
worker.
As the implementation of the robots, in some of the companies the factory workers
started to protest the implementation. Many factory workers believe that the robots
will replace them and consequently make them lose their jobs to a piece of metal.
The protests have caught the sight of many unions. In turn, this unions preached
that the advancements are violating their rights and that discriminates against the
minorities of the nation. Although the company says it will increase the jobs in the
company. The factory workers how ever have a counter argument that they only
increase jobs for computer scientists and engineers but it does not provide an
alternate option to the manual laborers.

Consequently, some of the companies have offered some of their employees

training programs which will keep them updated with the new technology and will
help them learn how the mechanic work, so they can help maintain the devices.
Because of the many complaints and protests, it has helped companies open their
blind eye to their current employees. The development of these training of
programs have also been beneficial because the company doesnt have to pay as

much for their salary because they are not people with college degrees. In
conclusion, the protests have not only helped the companies save money and it has
helped the workers to save their jobs.
