My view on God part-1

Real God vs Created God

Like Rajkumar Hirani I also believe that there are 2 Gods. The real God who created the universe. He/She is
formless. Nobody seems to have seen Him/Her. The other created by man & it began with our ancestors.
Evolution & Context of God
Our ancestors began to worship the supernatural forces behind every element of nature from sun, moon, river,
mountains, plants, animals etc to protect their life & livelihood.
The tribal chiefs who had propagated these earliest religious beliefs probably did not ever see the powerful
forces themselves. Else there is one sun, but the Sun God appears in different forms in India, China, Egypt &
rest of the world. Why on earth did the Sun God need to appear in different getups in different regions unless it
was imagination?
So far it was good. But over centuries man started replacing elements of nature with living humans who had
these supernatural powers. These Godly humans were known as avatars/son/messenger/teacher of God as
the case may be with the religious group. The actual God had no face except in Hindu religion which because
it was a older religious practice had Gods like Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Durga etc. But if they were really there
somewhere in the sky wonder why these Gods confined themselves to the Hindu followers only and not appear
in the dreams of Muslims or Christians after their religion came into being? Probably God did not want to
convert followers of other religions. But what man has been trying to do over centuries? Convert followers from
one religion into another. Shameless.
Lord Krishna, Jesus & Prophet Muhammad never met or fought with each other to establish who is supreme.
And today his followers are fighting with each other with bombs, swords or just abuses on social media to
prove just the same. Its a shame.
Our ancestors had thought of God as a way to reduce anxiety & get peace of mind and today we are using
religion for just the opposite purpose. Its a pity. We are not even sparing politics. The main bone of contention
between BJP & Congress is again religion rather than economic or social issues.
In more recent times we had great saints like Shirdi Sai baba or Ramakrishna Paramhansa. These spiritual
teachers never cared about money. And today most babas and God-men only want to mint money & still
people follow them in large numbers. What a degradation in ethics.
Had Shirdi Sai baba or Lord Ramakrishna lived 5000 yrs ago they might have got the same status of God as
Lord Krishna or Lord Rama and not just saints & their teachings when published could have become another
Holy Book. Time makes a difference.
