Dual IUB Acceptance Process

Pre Test:

1- Sites are received from the Tx team after migrating to IP.

2- Parameters check for all sites according to their BW.
3- Sites are divided into groups according to their areas and access
status.
4- Planning to accept these sites during 1 week ,with max 12 sites/day
per engineer.
5- Sites are tested in the outage time (2:00 AM to 7:00 AM). Sites with
difficult night access are requested with an AP to be tested during
daylight.

Testing:

Three tests are done for each site: download, upload, and ping testing
using a ping tester software.

Download:
o

A site is accepted when it reached minimum 80% of its assigned

BW.

The test shall be done in the best CQI found in the site area (not
less than 27).

Site is tested in class 11 first. If it fails to reach 80%, it must be

tested again in class 15.

Download test is done using a minimum of 6 download

sessions.

Test duration is 10 minutes.

Upload:

Using an upload server, an upload test is done for 5 minutes.

Ping:
o

Pinging www.google.com with buffer size 32 bytes.

Pinging www.google.com with buffer size 1460 bytes.

Pinging 213.131.65.20 with buffer size 32 bytes.

Pinging 213.131.65.20 with buffer size 1460 bytes.

Ping test parameters:

Test interval: 600 ms.

Time out: 4000 ms.

Number of tests: 128.

Reporting:
1- A summary is sent on a daily basis with the maximum download
throughput for each site.
2- A detailed report is sent in 24 hours with the results for all tests done
during the week.
3- The database is updated with the week results to update statistics and
progress.

4 Engineers with 4 Cars inside Cairo including all related

expenses ( fuel, oil,..etc.).
4 Engineers with 4 Cars outside Cairo including all related
expenses, giving the assumption that half of the month will be
inside Cairo only (Fuel, Oil, travel expenses , accommodation,
etc.).
4 Engineers without Cars in Cairo.
8 power inverter used to charge the laptop.
Laptop needed for each engineer (12 laptop).
we need the minimum experience to be 3 years, CVs should be
confirmed from our side.
Accommodation for the engineers outside Cairo will be 15
day/month per engineer including all expenses(Fuel, Oil, travel
expenses , accommodation, etc.) & to be utilized anytime
during the year.

Scope of work :

Integration of Dual stack sites

Target: to check the performance of the sites after the

migration to dual stack or after upgrading the BW of
the site.
Scope in dual stack: the acceptance will be done for
both Nokia (outside Cairo) & Huawei (inside).

NTRA measurement & analysis:

Target: maintain Mobinil 1st rank position in the NTRA
report.
Short calls & Long calls (extra NTRA protocol).
Indoor measurements and bench mark in the
hotspots.
Http extra measurements.
Benchmark between operators in order coop the
competition.

Dual Stack SOW

Introduction
The main target of this document is to show the process to accept
successfully the migration of old sites from ATM IUB to IP IUB in the
Network. Drive test team will insure that the site is running on air on a
proper mode.
Sites Acceptance SOW
The SOW will consist of the following:
1. Site data check
a. Site Template verification

With the kickoff for the MBH service, Supplier will propose
the Acceptance template to assure the verification of all
parameters and will not harm any KPIs in the surrounding
area.
Upon the mutual agreement with Mobinil on this template,
it will be regularly used as Acceptance report along the
duration of this service.
Any amendment or addition to this template should be
mutually agreed between Mobinil & Supplier prior to
applying it.

b. Site Data test

Throughput Check:
To check the throughput performance of the site after migrating
from ATM IUB to IP IUB in the Network & assure we are reaching the
target throughput.
I.
3G PS Internet browsing: 1 min session; 20 sec idle time.
UE LOCKED 3G:
Set UE to 3G as only band and test PS setup duration and web
surffing by taking a duration of 20 sec idle mode and 1 min
browsing session to check continuty of data packet transfer
based on transmission allowed.
II.
HSDPA Session: 2 min Session. UE LOCKED 3G: Set UE to
3G as only band and making hsdpa sessions on all sectors for
duration 2 mins and check max and AV throughput of the site
weher achieve the target or not

2. Report Delivery

Acceptance report for successfully Migrated sites will

include:
Latency/Round trip delay
Throughput Check
Functionality Check

3. Acceptance

If the site is accepted successfully, Supplier will deliver the

acceptance reports.

Supplier will deliver the accepted reports in (1 hard copy of

each report + 1 CD contains all reports soft copy, and drive test
log files)

Supplier will receive the acceptance of the delivered reports

within 3 days after the delivery date.

Mobinil team will review the delivered reports and discuss any
problem in its contents (if any) within the same week and have
the right to refuse the report in case of any missing element as
per the mutually agreed contents.

Penalties: 500 le per day will be applied on the company if we have shortage in any of
the above resources on daily level.
