A BEAUTIFUL MIND
He saw the world in a way no one could imagine

The movie A Beautiful Mind depicts the life of John Nash which were
quite wild. John Nash is a real mathematician at Princeton who is the
pioneering of the General Equilibrium Theory. In practice of John Nash, he
usually wrote mathematical equation in the window and spent many hours
just to come up with the original idea that intellectual abilities can be
benefitted. The problematic part of life of John Nash which happens about
half way through, in which John Nash was diagnosed with a severe form of
Schizophrenia. In this time, the only thing that are present on him is his
beautiful mind. The movie teaches the viewers on how to love and live the
life as long as we can. It is prevalent that life is more than making a
discovery or solving a question. Through the life of John Nash, it fully
reflected not only how hard and painful Schizophrenia can do, but also there
is a way of coping problems that may life hit us. It gives hope to those people
who are really depressed and stressed in their life although we have
problems, we must to resist and continue to live not only for our family but
also for ourselves.
Success is nothing but moving from one failure to another failure without
losing enthusiasm until you get succeed -Winston Churchill

GIRL, INTERRUPTED
The Girl Interrupted is a movie portraying a teenager during sixties.
It was depicted by Susanna that has just graduated from high school and has
no immediate plans for her future. The girl has Borderline personality
disorder, which involves having unstable relationships, being sensitives to
comments and reactions towards them, extreme emotions, fear of
abandonment and intolerance of being alone that often leads to depression
and self-harm.
As teenager, this is the stage where there is a significant question in
life, who am I & what can I be. In realization, during this time,
adolescence, teenagers are more on exploration of their independence and
curiosity. From this, a strong sense of self, feeling of independence and
control are being developed. And because of psychosocial crisis like
insecurities, unsure beliefs and confused about herself, Susanna attempted
suicide. It emphasized that suicidal distress can be caused by psychological,
environmental and social factors that may vary with age, social group, family
dynamics and stressful life events.

As
adolescent like Susanna, I realized that the problems and crisis are really
occurring, it is part of growing up. This is not just have a negative effect but
also positive because it can help in human development.

THE BUCKETLIST
Death is a hard thing that wrap your head around
The Bucketlist is a movie about two men that are both suffering from
cancer. It was represented by Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman that sets
off on adventure that are nothing like possible. In the first half of the movie,
it shows how a disease can damage the whole body and spirit of a person.
Amazingly, it sets out an ultimate inspiration to those people who are
in that kind of situation even if you feel that you have all the world's
problems, you must to use every moment that you have and create the best
of you out of it.
This is one of the best movies I ever watched. It deals with life choices
that made each viewer laugh, cry, and sad with a sense of humor. It provides
something different from other movies that is worth thinking about our own
lives.
