Spectrum 510 (DESIGNmate Cx) Pogo Board

Description:
Procedure for installing Part # 06469 Pogo board

Prerequisites:

The system must be shut off and disconnected from power.

The Fast Axis Module must be removed from the machine.
The printheads must be removed from the carriage.
This procedure must be performed by a certified Z Corporation or Contex technician.

Equipment / Parts Required:

In Toolkit
Hex wrenches
Syringe
Phillips screwdriver
Required
Needle nose pliers
Flat blade screwdriver
Paper towels
Pogo Board #06469

Procedure:

Remove the print

heads from the
carriage.
Remove the fast axis
module from the
machine
Cover the binder
hose plug with paper
towels and secure
with a rubber band.

Loosen the belt

tightening screws,
press the spring all
the way in, and then
re-tighten one of the
screws.
Remove the belt from
the motor pulley.

Remove the two

screws that hold
down the bearing
cover.

Lift the cover up and

raise the pogo board
up and out of the
carriage.

Remove the cable

from the pogo board.

Attach the cable to

the new pogo board
and slide the pogo
board into place.
Make sure it is
seated all the way
into the carriage.

Re-attach the
bearing cover with
the two screws
previously removed.

Clean all the pogo

connections with the
alcohol crush tubes.
Clean up any binder
or powder on the
bottom of the
carriage, and make
sure the alignment
window is clean.

Re-install the Fast

axis module and pull
several syringes of
binder through the
septums to clear all
air bubbles.
Re-install the print
heads (purge if new
heads)
Run an autoalignment.
