Objectives
At the end of this course students will be able to design different types of
reinforced concrete bridges
To impart knowledge on the design of steel bridges and pre stressed concrete
bridges

torsional parameters Design of Girder Section- Cable layout Check for stresses at

and the technologies used in fabrication and erection
They come to know the applications of Prefabricated elements in construction
