Mood Aware Music Player

(B.Tech Main Project under guidance of Asst. Prof. Helen K J , July15 - till date)

This project intends to develop a music player that is aware of mood of the user.
The player generates a playlist according to current mood of the user.
The project uses machine learning to predict the users mood as well as to classify music using rhythm
and lyrics of the songs.
Semantic Searching In Video
(B.Tech Main Project under guidance of Assistant Prof. Arjun , Jan14 - Apr14)
Languages - Python, Django
In this project, we developed a web application that can take a video and search query as input and
search for the query in the video using Speech Recognition. The output will be the position of the
query in the video.
This can be used in Web 3.0, Websites like Coursera for indexing topics and for Advertising purposes.
Hostel Management and Bill Payment System
(Independent Project, August 15 - till date)
Languages - Python, Django
Developed a web application to manage student information and bill payment system for college hostel.
Once implemented, students can view their bills using college intranet.

 Dyuthi 15 Website
(January 15 - February 15)
Developed front-end web pages for the website using HTML, CSS and Javascript.
Developed back-end registration for the website using Django and Python.
Joint Convener Coderpool
(Online Programming Contest hosted only for GECians, September 13)
The Coderpool is an initiative by a bunch of coders from Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The Coderpool is a monthly programming contest which aims in creating a coding culture all
around the college, just not in the Computer Science Department.
My responsibilities at Coderpool were preparation of challenges and their solutions as well as promotional activities in and out of college through social medias.
