Funktionsprinzip und Arbeitsweise Principle of operation
Principe de fonctionnement
Die Pumpen arbeiten nach dem Drehschieberprinzip. Ein exzentrisch gelagerter Rotor (4) dreht
sich im Zylinder. Durch die Zentrifugalkraft der
Drehbewegung werden die Schieber (3), die in
Schlitzen im Rotor gleiten, an die Zylinderwand
gedrckt. Die Schieber teilen den sichelfrmigen
Raum zwischen Zylinder und Rotor in Kammern
ein. Bei Verbindung der Kammern mit dem Saugkanal wird das Gas angesaugt, bei weiterer Drehung verdichtet und anschlieend ausgestoen.
Die Verdichtung erfolgt ohne Einsatz von Fremdmedien zur Schmierung. Die angesaugte Luft
wird im integrierten Feinfilter (5) gereinigt.
These pumps work according to the rotary vane

principle. An eccentrically installed rotor (4) rotates in the cylinder. The centrifugal force of
rotation pushes the vanes (3), which glide in slots
in the rotor, towards the wall of the cylinder. The
vanes separate the sickle-shaped space between rotor and cylinder into chambers. When
the chambers are connected with the inlet channel, gas is sucked in, compressed by the next
rotation and then discharged. The compression
is made without the use of foreign medias for
lubrication. The aspirated air is cleaned via the
integrated fine-mesh filter (5).

cylindre. Les palettes divisent lespace libre en

Lorsquune de ces chambres passe devant laspiration, lair est aspir, puis compress et enfin
rejet. La compression seffectue sans l`utilisation dun lubrifiant externe. Lair aspir est
purifi au travers du filtre fin (5).

Zu allen Wartungsarbeiten mu die Vakuumpumpe ausgeschaltet werden und gegen

versehentliches Anschalten gesichert sein.
1. Der integrierte Filter ist je nach Staubgehalt der
angesaugten Luft regelmig zu reinigen. Das
geschieht am zweckmigstem durch Ausblasen mit Druckluft. Bei strkerer
Verschmutzung mu der Filter ausgewechselt
werden. Der Filter kann durch Lsen des
Zylinderdeckels (11.3) entnommen werden.
2. Die Kohleschieber haben je nach Belastung
und Betriebsart der Vakuumpumpe eine Lebensdauer von 4000-8000 Betriebsstunden.
Neue Schieber mssen eingesetzt werden, wenn
die Schieberhhe nur noch 75% der Schlitztiefe
im Rotor betrgt (Fig. 11.2).
3. Der Schieberwechsel erfolgt durch die Demontage des Zylinderdeckels (Fig. 11.3). Beim Einbau der Schieber ist auf die richtige Lage (Radius) (Fig. 11.1) zu achten. Nach dem Montieren
des Zylinderdeckels ist die Pumpe sofort wieder
betriebsbereit.

2. The carbon vanes have a lifetime of 4000 to

8000 working hours depending on the application of the vacuum pump.
New vanes have to be installed when the height
of the vanes is only 75% of the slot depth in the
rotor (fig. 11.2).
3. Remove the cylinder end plate (Fig. 11.3) to
change the vanes. Make sure that the vanes are
positioned correctly (Fig. 11.1), the right way
round (curved edge against cylinder wall). After
mounting the cylinder end plate the vacuum
pump is ready for operation again.
