Characteristics of the Articles:


All the six research articles are characterised by detailed
titles, mentioning the variables and the problem most of
the times. In some cases the context was also given.
Almost all the articles included abstract at the beginning
followed by an introduction.
In all of the articles the authors have mentioned the
previous research or study that has been done and have
mentioned why was the present study needed.
Hypotheses and research questions are mentioned in the
articles.
In most of the cases the key concepts, variables and other
terms have been clearly defined.
The methodology employed to select the sample, collect
the data and measure the variables have been mentioned
in all the articles.
The collected data are then analysed to see if the
hypotheses are valid or not. Tables, Graphs and Charts are
used to substantiate the results.
All the articles end with a discussion, mentioning the
Limitations and Future Research followed by a list of
books and works consulted in the doing the research.

All these characteristics differentiate these articles from the


articles found in news papers or magazines.
