Neuroscientist Jose Luis Contreras Vidal is

In many cases, creatives will be tempted to
take the road more traveled by, sticking to the
safe path and trying ideas that have already
been done before. However, to truly achieve
creative success, you must branch out and try
new ideas that are much riskier endeavors if
you truly want to achieve creative (and
monetary) success. This is evidenced by
companies like Facebook, Tinder, and
Instagram.

Steyns Four Parts to Creativity

Motive creativity is not spontaneous;

it requires an act of will, persistence,

and an intelligent creator. Without
motive, one cannot hope to get any
real creative thinking done, nor be able
to put their thoughts into action

constraints holding you back, whether
