About this Document
This Configuration Matrix is a reference for supported InServ Storage Server configurations. For installation and update information, refer to the appropriate 3PAR Best Practice Guide.
February 2006
Page 3
Use of the 3PAR InServ Storage Server outside of current published specifications (including InServ Storage Server Technical
Specifications and related Product Documentation) and compliant environments (3PAR InForm OS Configuration Matrix and 3PAR
Best Practice Guides) can compromise data availability and/or data integrity on both non-compliant and compliant platforms. The customer
shall have no recourse against 3PAR resulting from non-compliant use of the 3PAR InServ Storage Server.
In the event of a problem, where support from 3PAR Customer Service is required and the Customer is deploying configurations outside of
published specifications and compliant environments, 3PAR will make reasonable efforts (depending on available resources) to first ensure
that the problem is not due to normal operation of the 3PAR InServ Storage Server. 3PAR will also make reasonable efforts (depending on
available resources) to identify possible third-party (non-compliant environments) causal factors. In certain circumstances, 3PAR may require
the Customer to disconnect all non-compliant platforms before 3PAR Customer Service can progress troubleshooting the problem.
3PAR can make no commitments to providing enhancements to the 3PAR InServ Storage Server that will overcome problems encountered
running outside of published specifications and with non-compliant environments, although these will be given consideration as enhancement
requests, if so proposed by the Customer.
