Brochure
Description: This is an informative brochure about the
company Arbor.
Programs: Indesign
Date: December 5, 2015
Course: Visual Media
Instructor: Jason Stucki
Objective: Set up a two sided folded document. Create
an original logo for a company of your choice and use it
in your brochure. Use at least 5 quality images.
Process: I took the template that we created last week
and found some pictures that really portray the
company. I then researched and wrote up body copy for
the brochure. Then I looked up examples of brochures
and found one that I liked the design of and made my
design similar to that.

Montage
Description: Spiritual montage poster.
Programs: Photoshop, Illustrator.
Date: October 24, 2015
Course: Visual Media
Instructor: Jason Stucki
Objective: Learn to blend images together, use masks
apply typography, manage layers in Photoshop and
use filters
Process: I first thought go my idea and what I wanted
to do and in the process chose my photo I wanted to
use. I took 2 other photos that were taken just seconds
apart and used the lasso tool to cut them out. I placed
them in front and behind the person to make it look
they were walking. I used a mask to blend the figure
in front and behind to give them more of a ghostly appearance. I then chose a quote that went a long with
the picture and used a black box behind it to make the
words stick out a little more.

Logo

called BAIL. It stands for Better Adventures in Life and
is a sporting/clothing store for people who like the outdoors.

Objective: Create a logo for a company of your choice.
The logo must include a symbol and type. The logo
should be a vector.
Process: I first came up with the company name and
the slogan and decided on what type of store I wanted it to be. I then sketched out a possible symbol and
came up with this mountain that spells out the world
BAIL. I used to the pen tool to create my symbol. I then
put the slogan underneath the symbol to let people
know what the company is.

Flier Project
Description:
Programs:
Date:
Course:Visual Media
Instructor:Jason Stucki
Objective: Apply the design principles and use appropriate typography, incorporate basic InDesign skills to
improve basic flyer layout, create a project folder with
image, logo and InDesign document to keep links intact.
Process: I first sketched out 4 different designs on a
piece of paper. I chose from those designs which I
thought was the best and used that as my guide. I the
opened indesign and started to create my design there.
I found that the design I had drawn out wasnt exactly
a fitting design so I moved some of the different elements around until I liked what I had created.I used
horizontal and vertical lines to separate the different
parts of the flier. I believe that they message is clear
and my design is very organized and unified.
