objectives: To create an effective flier for

process: I first imported the photo to
Indesign and added a round cirlce to it.
I then created the Title Graduate and
added the text. I lined up everything
alone the right hand side. I added the
logo and tried a couple of variations to
see which one is most visible.

objectives: To create a simple gum Ad
using photoshop
process: The first processes was
importing the image and then adding two
blue bars to the top and bottom of the
ad. I used the color replacement to turn
the entire image blue. I then used the
clone tool to create two more gum
packets. I then went in and used a paint
brush to add in two shades of blue to
the upper and lower bars to bring the
audiences attention to the image. I then
checked adobe type kit to find a font
similar to the extra gum font. After the
fonts where put in I put a slant on them
to match the gum packet. To finish the
project I added a small box and included
the word blue to show what colors were
used in this project.

objectives: To create website for a gamer
friendly logo
process: I started out with a basic html
set up and created the text for the entire
page. I then decided to go for a straight
forward center lined webpage. I then decided that a black background would be
best so it can match the logo colors of
black and green. I used a site to
create the qr code and used a css page to
change the coloring of all of the text at
the same time.

Event Ad

objectives: To create an Event Ad for
saving lion cubs
process: I started out by blowing up the
image to the size of the background. I
then changed the lighting of the image
so it wouldnt be too dark. I then
created the logo be finding an image and
lay text over it. The title was then chosen
and lined up with the lower text which
describes what the charity is for. The text
was too light and blended into the
background. My solution was to add a
little bit of outlining to make it more
visible and to help establish hierarchy.

objectives: To create seemless montage
on the womans face
process: I started off with the back
ground of any store I could find at all.
I then added the two ladies. I created a
mask from a models face blended it onto
the lady on the lefts face and then
created two more layers with masks to
add another face to both of the ladies
hands. I added the mirror in by getting
the image and then using a mask to wrap
her fingers and arm around it. I then
added a mask with a blur and tint blue to
blend the two women into the image.

objectives: To create a logo for a gaming
site.
process: I started off with a font that I
really liked. Since this is a gaming
channel I wanted a game feel, such as
pacman so I created an outline of the
first c so I could distort it and make it
bigger. I then added one circle to make
the eye and an oval for a pupil. I
added a square to the back of the logo
and brought in the corners to smooth it
out. I then decided on my colors
and applied them.

process: I first created a logo in
Illustrator from a circle and a star.
I reshaped the letters for the N and J to
get the shape I was looking for. I then
added a background. I wanted to fade it
but it appeared better as is. I finished in
Indesign addig a text box the QR code
and logo with the stripes.

process: I reused the logo from the
business card. I then took the
background and added a layed a water
effect over it in photoshop. I threw
everything into indesign and added the
text, stripes, and QR code.

Brochure

objectives: To create a brochure for a
company about technical advances in VR.
process: I first started with the logo
which I wanted to be a simple robot
which is the direction this company
wants to go. I created this logo in
illustrator by outlining a photo of a
simple robot. I then found images that
that fit the brochure. I had to change the
the lighting on a couple of them with
photo shop. I completely cropped out the
robot on the inside so the text can wrap
around it. I then tried several different
backgrounds until I found this one. It
works because it helps establish a
mysterious dark which this company is
trying to go through. To finish it up I
added the text and changed the
kerning so that no words were cut
off or left alone.
