notinanaturalfashionanendomorphismofavectorspace:Onthe"input"sideyouhave
(litersofvodka,litersofbeer)andontheputput(litersofliquid,litersofalcohol).For
example,nothingspeaksagainstswitchingtheorderofbeerandvodka(orofliquidand
alcohol),whichwouldresultintotallydifferenteigenvalues.

Firstweneedtointerpretthetransformation"physically".Whatthisdoesisgetstheamountof
eachtypeofalcoholasinput,andspitsoutthetotalvolumeandalcoholvolumeasoutput.
I'dbesurprisedifthishasaserious"physicalinterpretation",becausetheinputandoutputare
ofdifferenttypes.IsupposeI'dsaythattheeigenvectorsarethealcoholmixeswheretheratio

problemandlettheSimplexAlgorithm(oryouralgorithmofchoice)comeupwithafeasible
solution.Sinceyouneedanobjectivefunction,youcanchooseonearbitrarilyforexample,you
