Issues
In Lithuania there are 14000 children with disabilities. Despite their intellectual or
physical restrictions they can be involved into social and studying activities with
the help of the society. So, we created a site which will attract both volunteers
and those who need assistance and help the last.

Anticipated outcomes

In our web page children with disabilities can find volunteers that would be able
to help them.

With our help children with disabilities can feel better.

Using our web site the children with disabilities will find volunteers who will be
able to help them. They will not be alone facing their problems.

Volunteers can verify their social work and feel rewarded.

Later the mobile application will be able to sped up the link between the
volunteers and asking for help.

Recommendation

1.4. Justification

We search the internet and find that in Lithuania there are about 14 thousand

children with disabilities.

We don't find any analogues of our project. So we think that to make it would be
a great idea.

Problem Statement
In Lithuania there are a lot of children with disabilities
who lack special attention.
There are no sites or an application to provide the
communication between the sides.
On the other hand, senior students have practice every
year and they would like to spend the time helping their
peers. The problem is they cannot find each other.

Description of the Idea

We present a web page that will lend a hand to

children with disabilities.
When the user enters our website he sees the Home page.
On the top of it there is a navigation bar which contains tabs
like Home, About us, Sign up and Sign in. On the Home page
the user can read the information about our vision, mission
and services and find our phone numbers, email and office

address including the location map. In About us tab he will

see detailed information about our company, team
members, activities and achievements.

To start using the services through the website a child should

Sign up for an account either as a volunteer or a person with
disabilities. Each time when the registered user with
disabilities needs help he will go to Sign in tab and enter his
user name and password to access his account and request
help. To get help the user can either select the service he
needs from the list of options or write his own message.
Additionally he will be able to indicate when or how fast he
needs help. After necessary information is completed the
user submits the request. All users registered as volunteers
will get an email about a new request. Detailed requests
information will be stored in a table and after volunteers sign
in to their account they will choose the requests they can
help with. When a request is accepted the disabled child will
receive a confirmation email with the volunteers contact
details.
