Thesis statement: Globalisation is a phenomenon that has affected our society and with
a few reforms, leads to true solidarity.

I.

Introduction
A. Globalisation is a phenomenon where the public differs in their moral
evaluation.
1. Some argue that it should simply run its course.
2. Some argue that the phenomenon is susceptible to the transformation
by social actors, human agents operating freedom
3. While Dy believes that the phenomenon is susceptible to the
transformation by social actors, his perspective in the phenomenon is
derived from the value ethics of Max Scheler and the discourse ethics
of Jurgen Habermas.

The value ethics of Max Scheler circulate on the principle rides

mankind to develop like a single artificial being is another

government to a democratic form of governance is the third
characteristic of a universal civilization
d. Another characteristic of globalisation is the rational economy
where economic science and technics converge by their cultivation
of the human sciences.
e. A universal way of living manifest in our society is an universal

B. Globalization has positively affected our society
1. Globalization has brought out a number of values, one of which is
Liberty.
2. It is seen to be supportive of the values of democracy and human
rights.

The thriving of civil societies is a testimony on the promotion of
democracy and human rights.
3. The previous points, in effect, brought out a cultural homogenization.

A result of cultural homogenization is civility.
4. Last, it promotes global peace and solidarity.

C. It has also affected different communities negatively.
