Stitch markers
Gauge: 13 sts and 19 rows = 4" in Stockinette
Stitch (St st). Take time to save time, check
your gauge.
SPECIAL TERMS:
ssk: (slip, slip, knit) Slip 2 sts, 1 at a time, knitwise to the RH needle; return sts to LH needle
in turned position and knit them together
through the back loops (1 st decreased).
k2tog: Knit 2 sts together (1 st decreased).
Rinc: (Right slanting lifted inc) Slightly twist
work on LH needle towards you so that WS
of work is visible. Insert RH needle from top
down into next st on LH needle 1 row below.
Knit this st then knit st on LH needle (1 st
increased).
Linc: (Left slanting lifted inc) K1, slightly twist
work on RH needle towards you so that WS
of work is visible. Insert LH needle from top
down into the st just worked on RH needle 1
row below. Knit this st (1 st increased).
PATTERN STITCH
Circular Stockinette Stitch (St st):
Knit every rnd.
BODY
With longer circular needle, CO 106 (120,
134, 148, 162), place marker (pm) for beg-ofrnd (BOR) and join being careful not to twist
stitches. Begin St st; work 53 (60, 67, 74, 81)
sts, pm, work to end. Work even until piece
meas 112 (112, 112, 212, 212)" from beg. Shape
Waist, dec: Beg this rnd, dec 1 st before
and after each marker every 3 rnds 4 times
as follows: *Ssk, work around to 2 sts before
next marker, k2tog; rep from * 1 time 90

912)" from beg. Shape Waist, inc: Beg this rnd,
inc 1 st before and after each marker every
6 rnds 1 (0, 0, 0, 0) times, then every 8 rnds 3
(4, 4, 4, 4) times as follows: *Rinc, work across
to next marker Linc, slip marker; rep from *

1512, 1612, 1612)" from beg. Divide for Back
and Front: *Work to 4 sts before marker, BO 8
(8, 8, 10, 10) sts and remove marker; rep from

for Back and Front. Place rem sts on holder.
Break yarn.
SLEEVE
With dpn, CO 30 (30, 32, 37, 37) sts, divide
evenly onto multiple needles, pm for BOR,
join being careful not to twist sts. Begin St
st; work even until piece meas 1" from beg.
Shape Sleeve: Beg this rnd, inc 1 st each side
of marker every 9 rnds 0 (0, 0, 0, 10) times,
every 10 rnds 8 (8, 3, 3, 0) times, then every 11
rnds 0 (0, 5, 5, 0) times as follows: Rinc, work
across to next marker, Linc, slip marker 46
(46, 48, 53, 57) sts after all incs. Work even
until piece meas 18 (18, 19, 19, 20)" from beg.
Dec for Underarm: Work to 4 (4, 5, 5, 5) sts
before marker, BO 8 ( 8, 8, 10, 10 ) sts 38 (38,
40, 43, 47) sts rem. Do not break yarn.
YOKE
With larger circular needle, work across 38
(38, 40, 43, 47) sts of Left Sleeve, pm, p1, slip
1 st purlwise wyif, p1, pm, work 39 (46, 53, 58,
65) sts of Front, pm, p1, slip 1 st purlwise wyif,
p1, pm, work 38 (38, 40, 43, 47) sts of Right
