Emotional Content Mixed with Anchors!

Or as I like to call them: Emotional Anchors!
Now what exactly are Emotional Anchors and how can they make you a
lot stronger a lot faster?
Thats a very good question and Ill tell you exactly why it works, how it
works and why you should be doing it with every exercise that you do, it
doesnt matter what exercise it is! It could be anything, It works with
literally any exercise that you do, even when the exercises are not related
to each other at all! Plus it makes Training and the time that you Train a
lot more fun and more like an adventure, rather then simply something
that has to be done. Or something that takes up this or that much time of
the day!
Lets start at the beginning. First we need to establish what Anchors are
and what they can do for your Training and more importantly: your
Training results!
And the #1 person (for me) to listen to when it comes down to Mental
Training and thus Anchors, is my coach & mentor: Logan Christopher! Ill
let him explain what Anchors really are and the many benefits of
incorporating and using them in your own Training. Ill let Logan do the
explanation, because hes a way better Mental Training Coach then I am
today. Hes been in the game and through the Trenches for a longer time
then I am, and as a matter of fact, I still learn from him everyday when it
comes to Mental training. Wether its Anchors, Visualization, Hypnosis,
Affirmations, Tapping and a whole lot more!

So without further adue, I give the word to Logan Christopher!

Anchors
Another word for a conditioned response is Anchor. You can set an
anchor thats going to allow you to physically relax completely, to
mentally relax completely, to get down into a deep level of relaxation
that you need to. Once these anchors have set in which takes a little
practice, then you can pretty much instantly get into the state just by
triggering the anchor. Use these anchors to quickly get into the relaxed
state that we need in order to go forward with the rest of the mental
training.
But once were down into the proper brainwave level were also
establishing an anchor there to elicit the specific state we want in order
to help us hit our goals in the training. Thats why we set a specific
anchor for instance to help you summon all your strength, all your focus
and concentration at the specific time when you need it.
These anchors are going to become very effective and actually even
more effective the more you use them. This idea comes from Neuro
Linguistic Programming (NLP) and the prior work with conditioned
responses. With Pavlovs dog, the ringing of the bell was an anchor for
salivation because it was associated with the food.
But even in the book Dinosaur Training by Brooks Kubik, he wrote about
it. He didnt call it an anchor at the time but he wrote about using this to
get into a peak state right before you lift using some sort of kinesthetic
motion.

www.FerociousStrength.com

Basically, what Logan Christopher explains over here is that a Anchor is

just another word for conditioned response. The way to look at a Anchor
and the anology you can use with a Anchor can be explained like this:
Imaging a gun (9mm), the way you start, install and finish the Anchor, is
when you take the bullet, put it into the gun, pull the trigger and fire the
bullet! Youre putting the Anchor (Bullet) into your own mind (Gun) &
then you trigger that Anchor by firing it into your own body (Pulling the
Trigger and Shooting!) through the use of your mind (again, the Gun!).
And like Logan said: the MORE you use it, the BETTER it works! So thats it
in a nutshell!
Of course, If you want to learn more about Anchors and a whole lot more
related to Mental Training, then I highely recommend that you buy the
Think & Grow Strong Quickstart Package by Logan Christopher. For More
in-depth quality & quantity information!

Emotional Content
Before I continue with the Emotional Content, I want to remind you to
make sure that whenever you use Emotional Content in every exercise or
Training that youre doing, that youre always focusing and channeling
those Emotions into your Training itself! In other words, DONT let your
Emotions run wild like crazy in every direction without any control! I know
this from my own experience! It was one of my weakest points when it
came down to Training.
I still practice it daily to channel all of my enormous and abundant energy
into every Training that I do while avoiding expenditure of energy wich
goes nowhere and thus, is just wasted energy in the long run. So whats
very important is that YOU and me, both gotta keep our Emotions in
check while Training and use them to their utmost maximum!

Copyright 2012 Ferocious Strength

www.FerociousStrength.com

No doubt about that! But also keep attention to where youre channeling
those STRONG Emotions. Like I said, that way you expand less energy
overall and you stay way more focused on the task at hand and the
ultimate goal!
Its exactly like Bruce Lee said in the Movie Enter the Dragon Its like a
Finger pointing away to the moon, dont concentrate on the finger, or
youll miss all that heavenly glory!
So now that we have established what Anchors are, know how to trigger
them and use them, lets dive deeper into the Emotional Content and
how it will propell your Conditioned Responses/Anchors to an whole
other level! As a matter of fact, Iv been experimenting with this
Emotional Anchors concept for over 2 and a half years now! Let me tell
you how it all began
It all started in July/August of 2009. I was still in the Army and doing my
time, when all of a sudden one day we had to do an incredible amount of
Burpees & Pullups! And the reason for that was because we (me and my
Army Comrades) messed up and did some stupid sh*t (which I wont go
any deeper into. Because then It would take at least 50 pages to write
everything down!), which made the Sergeant so pissed off that he
ordered us to begin doing Burpees (with Pushups in the bottom position!),
alternating with a Pullup or Chinup when we jumped up in the air and
grabbed the Pullup/Chinup bar.
Now, for everyone thats already been Training for a while and has been
through the trenches (figuratively speaking), knows exactly how TOUGH &
HARD those are to do! Especially when you have to do them for a long
period of time without any time-limit or rest between sets. Those are
BRUTALLY HARD to do! Just think about this for a second, you havent
eaten well for a while, havent slept well neither for who-knows how long,
havent had any mental rest for a long period of time and just been
Pushing (and Pulling) forward for days on out! Now thats TOUGH my
friend!
Copyright 2012 Ferocious Strength

www.FerociousStrength.com

You dont have to be an Einstein to understand and figure out that it

makes the Burpee/Pullup combo an even deadlier exercise! So back to
the story: We had to (it was an order) do them non-stop for as long as the
Sergeant wanted us to do it. Wich meant: NO stopping untill we were told
to! So right there and then I became very pissed with my Sergeant and my
Army Comrades for that matter. Because I sure as hell didnt mess up and
thus I wasnt responsible for the situation we were in back then.
But then all of a sudden it came to me automatically, without me even
noticing it or recognizing it at that moment. It was only AFTER the
punishment was done with, that I realized what I just did and how I did it
automatically while I was doing the Burpee/Pullup exercise for whoknows how many reps that day. Ill never forget it, the next day (and still 2
and a half years later), I experimented more & more with the Emotional
Content! I was combining it with Anchors back then in 2009, without even
realizing it myself or knowing about Anchors at all, at least not
consciously. Subconsciously however, is another story!
I was triggering conditioned responses in my own mind (setting Anchors)
for whenever we had to do those Brutally tough and Mentally hard
punishment exercises! I remember getting so freaking mad at some of my
Comrades there, that I was literally in a different place when I was doing
the exercise combo and as a matter of fact, I didnt even notice it when
the Sergeant said: STOP, thats enough for now! I was Zoned out , and
now that I think of it, I was actually in the ZONE back then! And I could get
into the ZONE very quickly whenever we had to do yet another
punishment Training!

Copyright 2012 Ferocious Strength

www.FerociousStrength.com

I also remember getting Goosebumps whenever we had to go through

other punishements as well! Why do I talk or even mention Goosebumps
and what the hell does that have to do with Emotional Content at all? If
thats what youre asking, then Im very glad you did and I encourage you
to question me at all times! That shows that you think for yourself and are
willing to investigate and experiment with these ideas for yourself in your
own Training! And for that, I applaud you!

Goosebumps
So lets continue on to see How, Where & Why Goosebumps play such a
huge role!
You see, the fact of the matter is that we are ALL Emotional beings,
wether we admit it or not! Were also using and triggering Anchors in
ourselves, in our Subconscious Mind that is! Once you realize this, then
you can quickly see that youve been using and triggering Anchors in your
own mind all the time throughout your entire life! If you think about this
long and good enough, then youll know Im right and youll get that A-HA
moment once you figure it out! I know from personal experience that
thats exactly how it was in my case as well!
And since were all Emotional beings as humans, we can also use our own
Emotions to our own greater good! And thats exactly what I did back
then! I was actually very angry and mad at my Army Comrades and the
Sergeant, as I already said before! And thus I was Emotionally involved in
the Burpee/Pullup Combo that we all did. I was so pissed off and mad that
being scared, tired or fatigued didnt even come up in my mind and didnt
bother me at all, NONE! I didnt feel tired the entire time while doing the
punishement exercise combo. It was only afterwards that I all of a sudden
realized that I had been doing a ton of reps for a super long period of
time.

Copyright 2012 Ferocious Strength

www.FerociousStrength.com

And that was the moment where I also realized that being Emotionally
involved in the exercise at hand that you do is a MUST! Period! If you go
into an exersise being negative about yourself, going brainless into it and
just going through the motions like a braindead zombie, then you get
what you put into it, NOTHING! Or at least not as much as you could have
gotten out of it, if you triggered conditioned responses (Anchors) and
mixed that together with Emotional Content!
And that brings me to the main subject discussed in this FREE Bonus
Report for everyone that signed up/opted-in for my newsletter:
Emotional Anchors!

Emotional Anchors
This is a very POWERFUL concept, and Youll understand exactly why once
you use it on a daily basis! And let me tell you another thing, once you use
it on a daily basis, you dont want to go back to what you did (or not do)
previously in your Training! Being Emotionally tuned in and involved with
your own Training in every exercise that you do is a CRUCIAL part of any
effective long term Training regime.
Just ask the Legendary Bruce Lee! Of course he cant answer you anything,
because hes dead. But he did say this much in the movie from 1973
Enter the Dragon: We need EMOTIONAL Content! He said this to his
student who practiced the Side-Kick with him! When the student did his
first Side-Kick, Bruce Lee smiled and asked him: What is this? An
exhibition? And then he continued to say, and I repeat: We Need
Emotional Content! Which, once again, brings us to being Emotionally
involved into everything you do in your Training. This my friend, is KEY!
I can not stress this enough to all of you who have read this far! You got to
use your Emotions and channel them into the exercise(s) youre doing,
wether its Bending Steel, Ripping Phonebooks, Juggling Kettlebells,
Handstand Pushups, Pullups, Burpees etc. It doesnt matter!

Copyright 2012 Ferocious Strength

www.FerociousStrength.com

As far as I have been experimenting and trying this on myself, Ive come to
the conclusion that there are 3 Emotional Contents that you can and
should use in your Training! Those are: 1. Happy Emotions, 2. Angry
Emotions and 3. Fearful Emtoions. I excluded the Sad Emotion, because
the Sad Emotion didnt work very well for me and when youre using very
Sad Emotions while you Train, you become even more sad and in the end,
that will only weaken you in my opinion. I have experimented with this,
and out of the hundreds of times that I tried using the Sad Emotion as my
Emotional content, I failed and it didnt test well. Which to me, is an
indication that its not cut out as an Emotional Content to use while you
Train.
So weve got the Happy, Angry and Fearful Emotions! All of those
Emotions open up and bring a state of mind to your Training! All of them
however, have one thing in common. When you visualize yourself being
VERY Happy, Angry or Fearful, then those feelings will give you
Goosebumps! If you use them correctly and effectively! And the way to
use all of them effectively is by visualizing something that happened to
you in the past that gave you any of these Emotional states! Or you can
take scenes from movies, music or sounds that youve heard and use that
as your Emotional Content(s) while you Train!
For example: I always get Goosebumps when I hear or see the Rocky
Training Montage song from Rocky IV, when I hear or see the Gladiator
scene where Aurelius Maximus (Russell Crowe) yells to the crowd in the
Collosseum: Are you NOT entertained? Or when I see and hear the
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Intro song from the Cartoon in the 80s!
I also get Goosebumps when I hear someone tells me that I CAN NOT do a
particular Feat of Strength or exercise! That gives me very ANGRY
Emotions and that FIRES me up from the inside and creates a burning
desire to become even Stronger and better, to prove to that idiot telling
me I cant do it, but MOST importantly, to myself that I most definitely
CAN and WILL do it! So thats where Goosebumps also come into play.

The Zone
People that have been in the ZONE and have Trained or performed while
being in the ZONE, describe it as being able to do everything fluently and
effortlessly. Without even trying it and having a extreme tuned in
connection between the mind & the body. It just flows like water! And
speaking of flowing and being like Water! I have found out that Bruce Lee
also said and connected the dots from Be (Flow) Like Water my friend
with having Emotional Content while you Train!
And while you incorporate the Emotional Content into your Training via
the Happy, Angry & Fearful Emotions while summon the Goosebumps
along with them, you will open the door to the subconscious mind and
thus youll also open a door to Enter the Zone!
I know this sounds too good to be true and somewhat of a Hocus Pocus,
Mumbo Jumbo business, but its definitely NOT! Iv used this with succes
in the past and I still use it with enormous succes in the present as we
speak! And the more I use these Emotional Contents through the
Goosebumps that I call upon after setting the Anchors, the more I become
aware of the Unlimited Powers and possibilities of the mind. It all sounds
very simple, and to be quite honest, it actually is. It will be a little tricky
and difficult in the beginning, but so will be Training, or anything else
thats brand new to you for that matter.
Im not saying that just by summing and calling upon the Goosebumps
and then Trigger an conditioned response/Anchor while being Emotionally
involved into it, will let you enter the Zone as easily as taking a walk
outside. What I am saying and offering you however, is a possibility to
enter that ZONED OUT state where everything just seems to happen
effortlessly and where you can keep on going and going and going without
fatigue bothering you, without a disconnection between the mind and
body and most of all without stopping when the going gets really TOUGH!

Everyone that Trains Hard knows exactly what Im talking about, but even
the newbies who just start out know exactly what Im talking about. Its an
universal thing! The ZONE is understood subconsciously by almost
everyone on the face of the planet. One of the best athlete to use for an
example for being in the Zone most of the time when he played, is
Michael Air Jordan! Everyone knows Michael Air Jordan, so I wont
introduce him any further, instead I encourage you to do a quick Google
search and you can find everything you need to know about this
Phenomenal Athlete!
When people asked M. Jordan about his incredible Jumping, Shooting and
Dunking abilities in Basketball, he simply answered: Its beyond me, it
just happens all by itself
And that ought to say a lot! And as a matter of fact, Ive been studying Air
Jordans expressions on his face when he played Basketball back in the
days! In every move that he makes, you can definitely, without a shred of
a single doubt, see that hes EMOTIONALY involved in it! He loved every
second of the game that he played, he also used to LOVE dunking the
Basketball itself! Why do I claim this so easily and say this up front?
Because if you look at his face when he dunks the ball and hes Flying up
in the air, you can clearly see that he has his tongue sticking out of his
mouth plus the FIRE & WILL in his eyes when he does so! Its PURE
Emotional Content when he dunks! And it happened almost every time
when he played Basketball, back in the days. And you can bet all your
money on it that he used to have Goosebumps whenever he played
Basketball. Im pretty damn sure of that!

I could give a lot more examples of Legendary Performers with Incredible

Beyond Words abilities in their chosen sport, lets take Bruce Lee, for
the sake of already mentioning him a couple of times. Everyone knows
Bruce Lee, wether youre into Martial Arts or not. Bruce Lee is an Legend,
an Icon! And what made Bruce Lee such a devistating Martial Artist back
when he lived, was his Emotional Involvement in every exercise and
Training that he did. It didnt matter what kind of exercise or form of
Training he did neither. He was involved in it Emotionally 100% all the
way!

Philosophy of Bruce Lee

As a matter of fact, Just look at Bruce Lee as he acted in the movies that
he acted! Pure Emotional Content being displayed over there! He always
said so himself: To Truly express onself, NOT lying to onself, and to truly
express yourself from the inside out, that my friend, is VERY Hard to do
and you gotta Train yourself, so when you want it, its there!
And heres yet another genious philosophical quote Bruce Lee used to say
to his Martial Arts students, as well as regular people. Related to the one
above:
Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go
out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it!
What Bruce Lee basically meant was that you should always express
yourself how you REALLY feel at any moment! Express your Emotions and
be true and loyal to yourself, not to anyone else. This is especially
important when youre Training or practicing Martial Arts! And as a
matter of fact, the whole point with Emotions is that you can summon
them by your own will if you know how to! Thats exactly what Ive been
telling and explaining to you thus far!

Copyright 2012 Ferocious Strength

12

www.FerociousStrength.com

If you really are interested in the philosophy, achievements and life of the
Legendary Bruce Lee, then I highely recommend you check out ALL of his
classic movies and also that you buy all of his books that he wrote himself!
It will be worth all of your money, easily! Once you read about Bruce Lee
and how he stressed the Emotional Content in his Training and also in
everything else in his life, then you will understand what Im saying over
here even better!
It is as simple as that, simple but NOT easy! As is the case with all of the
hard and productive Training. This area is mostly untouched by the
majority of Trainees & Athletes throughout their whole career. Make sure
YOU dont make the same mistake as they do!
So everytime before you start your Training, take a moment to trigger a
conditioned response/Anchor in your mind (do this with your eyes
closed). Say 2 or more words to yourself that will become your Anchors in
the future! For example, lets say you want to become STRONGER in your
Training, the best way would be to say these words to yourself while
feeling and seeing it through visualization in your body: SUPER
STRENGTH, FEROCIOUS STRENGTH or LEGENDARY STRENGTH etc. Use
the Anchors that work the best for you! And only you!
Like I said before, You can also trigger your Emotional Content(s) and get
Goosebumps from a particulair song, movie scene or even a sound! It
doesnt really matter, ALL of those options are GREAT and Valid! So use all
of them however you see fit for the moment and situation at hand!

Personal Training Experience

Lets take another example: What I personally do before I go Bend
Wrenches is this: First I trigger and fire an Anchor while Im under
Hypnosis and I Visualize myself being able to bend that Crescent Wrench
or Open-End Wrench without any problems whatsoever! In other words
Im actually entering the ZONE, or at least attempting to do so everytime
that Im going through the Hypnosis and Visualization while triggering and
fireing an Anchor! Its like a Gun going off! You pull the trigger and you
Shoot! Thats what youre basically doing with your own body when you
trigger and fire an Anchor. Its the same anology as a Gun. Just like I talked
about before. So imagine that while you think of an Anchor the next time!
Another GREAT reason for this to work is that you are triggering yet
another VERY POWERFUL and ancient response in every being of your
body when youre calling upon the Goosebumps to appear at your own
will! Im talking, of course, about: ADRENALINE! What happens when
youre Emotionally involved and bring up the Emotional Content in your
entire body is that you release the stress hormone called Adrenaline!
It will be released especially when you combine it with one of the
STRONGEST Emotional Contents that excist in the human body: Happines,
Anger & Fear, and when feeling Fear, your natural response to that would
be feeling Threatened. So when feeling Threatened, you even trigger the
Fight or Flight Response in every being and cell of your body!
This brings me to the fact that I use the ANGER and FEAR Emotions when I
bend Crescent Wrenches, or any kind of Steel and Horseshoes for that
matter! I call upon Angry and Fearful Thoughts, Feelings and Emotions
before I set my Mind on Bending or Breaking the Wrenches!

Copyright 2012 Ferocious Strength

14

www.FerociousStrength.com

This puts me in a very good and usefull spot when it comes down to going
to WAR against Steel! And I say this because, at least in my own case,
being Happy doesnt cut it and actually doesnt work when youre fighting
and battling against Steel or other odd objects that were never meant to
be bent by Human Hands or Human strength in the first place!
I could go on and on and on and give you examples for every type of
Training that I do and every type of Emotional Content that I use and
summon upon before I do them! But I wont, because everyone is
different and everyone is an individual! Which means that what works
perfect for me, might or might not work even remotely good for you and
vice versa! Were all different and because of that I cant possibly give
examples of what to use for what exercise or which combination to use at
that particular time. You gotta find that out for yourself and experiment
with it for yourself as well! Exactly the same way I experimented with this
stuff for 2 and a half years now! Even to this day, Im still experimenting
with it! Theres no definitive Emotion that works all the time for the same
exercise or Feat of Strength being performed!
What might have worked for you last year as an Emotional Anchor, may
not work for you anymore today! Its an never-ending journey which you
got to embark on and discover for yourself! But once again, like Iv said
many, many times before: Its NOT the Destination that is important, but
the Journey itself that is important! Learn to enjoy the Journey, play with
this cool and usefull information yourself, make it your own and develop
your own system of Emotional Anchors that will help you in the best way
possible!
The only very important part that I cant teach you very good is the
Anchor trigger and fire response while youre under Hypnosis. I could
teach it to you in this Free Bonus Report as an explanation, but it will take
up way too much space and time to read it, and then you got to hear it as
an audio or mp3 in the end anyway.

Unbelievable & Amazing! And I keep on getting compliments and respect

of scenes and soundtrack songs which gives me Goosebumps and make
me Happy as well as Angry! Which I use as Emotional Anchors in my own
Training before I train!
