Current Research Jan 2007 and ongoing
Advisor: Dr. Karsten Schwan (Director of Center for Experimental Research in Computer Systems)
Project: Providing Quality of Service over Infiniband in a Virtualized Environment. Each application running in
a virtual machine is provided a certain amount of bandwidth and/or time sensitivity using the Infiniband HCA
service levels and QoS configuration.

Past Research & Projects Aug 2006 – Dec 2006


Project: Developed a branch prediction mechanism based on the MD5 hash of a program and a Neural Fast-
Path Predictor. The project was part of the High Performance Computer Architecture class.
Project: Providing QoS over Infiniband in a Virtualized Environment. The project was part of a High
Performance Communication class
Project: Developing the Bluetooth Twiddler. The Twiddler2 chording keyboard was adapted to use Bluetooth
for communication with the wearable computer. The project was a part of the Ubiquitous Computing class.

Software Developer Aug 2005 – Jun 2006


Indian Register of Shipping (IRS), Mumbai, India
− Developed an application that interfaced between AutoCAD and ANSYS using XML
− VBA and XML Parser SDK were used to create XML representations of AutoCAD drawings. The Visual
Basic application implemented the translation of the XML files into a ship model in the ANSYS file format.

Software Developer (Summer Internship) Apr – Jun 2003


L. T. M. G. Hospital (2nd largest Municipal Hospital in Mumbai)
− Developed an application for cataloging tissue and specimen samples that enhanced the productivity of
the Pathology department
− The application was developed using Visual Basic 6 for the GUI and Access 2000 as the database for
tissue and specimen samples. The core logic of the application was built in Visual Basic components.

 Conducted workshops on 8051 Microcontroller and Game Development during ISAAC (IEEE Students’
