1. HOW WILL I INPUT AN INFANT'S NAME?

Since an Infant does not occupy a seat, he should be associated to an adult.

NM1Adult's Last Name/First Name (IN surname of /first name of infant/12)

• if the INF has a different last name from the adult.

• If the INF has more than one name, do not put a space between the each name.

2. HOW CAN I UPDATE THE FLIGHT STATUS OF MY PNR?

Input a Received From (RF) and end your transaction with the ERK command.

1. RFname ex: RFOwen

2. ERK

3. HOW CAN I REQUEST FOR A MEAL?

Type SR then the appropriate meal code

ex: SRCHML - to request for a child's meal

Note : To check for all the meal codes, type HEMEAL

4.HOW CAN I SELL SEATS WITH TWO DIFFERENT CLASSES OF SERVICE?

All you have to do is type SS1YK3, wherein:

SS - is the mandatory entry

1 - number of passengers to be booked
Y - is the first booking class
K - is the second booking class
3 - is the line no. of the flight from the availability display

5. HOW CAN I INPUT MY PASSENGER'S FREQUENT FLYER NUMBER?

Simply key in FFNLH-123456, wherein:

5.LH is the airline

123456 - is the frequent flyer number

6. CAN I PERFORM A NAME UPDATE WITHOUT GETTING AN AUTHORIZATION FROM THE AIRLINES?
All name changes require authorization from the airline concerned.

7. HOW WILL I ENDORSE MY BOOKING TO ANOTHER AMADEUS USER?

There is a facility called Extend Security (ES) where you can allow another Amadeus user agency to either
view or modify your PNR. Check out HE ES.

8. HOW WOULD I KNOW IF THIS FLIGHT NO. HAS A HIDDEN STOP?

DO flight number /date of departure.

9 . WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A GK SEGMENT AND A PK SEGMENT?

Both are used to book segments that were created outside of the Amadeus system. However, GK segments
are created for the purposes of pricing and itinerary printing while PK segments are for ticket issuance.
