Other Information on Charlie

Pace
Charlies character is portrayed by the
actor Dominic Monaghan. His last name may or may
not be a reference to the Latin word pace, meaning
peace. The colors orange and blue would most likely
be those who best describe Charlie, since prior to
the crash, Charlie had a love for adventure and
mischief (orange), what with his love of partying and,
while with Claire Littleton, develops a sense of love
and peace (blue), expressed most when Claire and
Charlie are kidnapped by Ethan Rom; we can see
the sense of protection he provides for Claire .
Charlie has an irrational fear of bees, wasps and
related creatures.
Hieronymus also has a meaning: Jerome
(in Latin), which, in Greek translates to sacred
name.
