Tasks&accountabilities
Mainactivitieswillinclude:
Inaspacecraftsystems,hardwareorcomponentsenvironment,developan
understandingofthedetailedprinciplesofmechanicalandstressanalysisand
morebroadlyofwiderdesign,manufactureandtest.
Understandtheperformanceofdesigned,manufacturedandtestedhardware
throughactivitiesincludingmechanicaltestprediction,preparation,supportand
assessment.
Authoringtechnicaldocuments,inparticularreportsrecordinganddrivingthe
design,developmentandverification,overthewholeorpartsoftheproduct
lifecycle.

Requiredskills
Thesuccessfulcandidatewillbeabletodemonstratethefollowing:
CurrentlystudyingtowardsadegreeorequivalentqualificationinMechanical
Engineering,AeronauticalEngineeringorrelatedsubject.
Aninterestinthespaceindustry.
Basictheoreticalknowledgeofstructuralengineeringprinciplesandanabilityto
learnrequiredanalysistechniques.
ExperienceofusingMicrosoftOfficeExcelforperformingandpresenting
engineeringcalculations.KnowledgeofMATHCADorMATLABwouldbe
