Job rotation is one of the best techniques to hone employees skills. It is actual in
nature, and provides experience for employees who are new to the position he
was put in. Boredom can also be eliminated for employees who stayed for so
long in a single position. But it can also be bad for those who are accustomed to
his old post and do not want to be rotated for the sake of training. But in todays
standard, multi level skills are being required by companies to its employees to
compete and battle costs of production and recession.
Apprenticeship
It is commonly a requirement of schools for graduation. A company in tie-up with
the school, will get a number of apprentice students from that school and allows
them to work for a certain period of time to learn their trade. Most
apprenticeships in the Philippines come from manufacturing firms.
Internships and assistantships
Same as apprenticeship, is a requirement for graduation in colleges and
universities. On the job training (OJT) as commonly termed for most science
fields or technical and engineering courses and internship for medical related
courses.
Programmed learning
One of the most modern techniques in training employees. In here, the trainee is
allowed to learn at his own pace, choose what topic he would concentrate more
and train even without the presence of a trainer in a particular set of time. A
computer is the medium of instruction and the source of all information, audio
and visual aids.
Laboratory training
It is an interactive method where trainees are given situations to solve coming
from their own experiences at work. It is focused on changing employees
behavior and attitude towards work. It is known to be the most successful training
method in improving employees performance. Team building, Personality
development, etc are examples of this method.

or have read about. Comment on the practice on the training program of
employees and show the effects.
