The eyes, the stars & remedies

Our eyes are at work from the moment you wake up to the moment you close them to go to
sleep. They detect light, and send electrical impulses along the optic nerve to the visual and other
areas of the brain transfer tons of information about the world in shapes, colors,
movements, etc. to the brain for processing so the brain knows what's going on outside of
our body.

According to Ptolemy they are of the nature of the Moon and Mars; and, to Alvidas, of
Mars, Moon and Sun in opposition. They are said to make their natives wanton, ambitious,
turbulent, optimistic and peaceful; to give many journeys and voyages, success in
agriculture and through active intelligence; and to cause blindness, disgrace and a violent

Pleiades with Moon: Injuries to the face, sickness, misfortune, wounds, stabs, disgrace,
imprisonment, blindness, defective sight especially if in the Ascendant or one of the other
angles, may be cross-eyed, Color-blind or the eyes may be affected by some growth. If in
the 7th house, total blindness especially if Saturn or Mars be with Regulus and the Moon

Regulus: If with a malefic and the Moon with Antares (9 Sagittarius), Praesepe or the

This is a bad star. Very bad for the eyesight and can indicate blindness.

Keller- blind/deaf had her chart co-ruler, Mars at 15 degrees of Leo, along with no air

RESEARCH FINDINGS TO ARREST OR REDUCE EYE DEFECTS &

DAMAGES:Cataract formation is connected with an inability to maintain normal levels of
sodium, potassium, and calcium within the lens of the eye. We now know that this occurs
because damage to the "pumping system" that maintains these levels has occurred. Free-
radical damage at the cellular level is the main cause of damage to the system.

Antioxidant vitamins E, C, beta-carotene, and selenium, which prevent free-radical

damage, are crucial to preventing their development. One study found that those who took
between 300 and 600 mg. of vitamin C daily had a 70 percent reduction in cataract risk;
those who took 400 I.U. of vitamin E had a 50 percent reduction. Most significantly, people
who took both supplements were almost entirely free of cataracts. Another fourteen-year
study that involved 50,000 women found a 40 percent lower rate of cataract surgery among
women whose diets were rich in vitamin A compared with those whose diets lacked the
vitamin.

In addition, it's important to be sure that your diet is rich in food sources of antioxidants,
specifically fresh fruits and vegetables. Try to follow the new guidelines that recommend
five servings of fresh fruits and vegetables daily.

Inositol--part of the vitamin B complex--has been shown in experiments to be protective

against the development of cataracts.

If surgery is inevitable, then care should be taken to avoid surgery of the eyes when the luminaries
are transiting on these bodies.
