Daily Declaration of Faith Modeled on the Tabernacle of Moses

Page 1

This is not a family prayer book or any sort of a prayer book, but only a model meant only for individual reflection, not group
prayer. As prerequisite, please read Exodus 25 to 31 and 35 to 40. We DO NOT have to follow any of the required rituals that you read
there, but we need to know what the tabernacle of Moses is and what goes on there.
To understand why God asked Moses to set up a temple for Him, all the 6 main items in the tabernacle are explained scripturally to
show its relevance to us now. This section is then followed with detailed instructions on what we can do to stand in the victory that
Christ won for us.
Always remember that as born again believers, our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1Cor 6:19), and that God, who is rich in mercy,
because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, has made us alive together with Christ (by
grace you have been saved), and has raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Eph 2:4-6).
This means that we are already seated with Christ in the throne room of God.

The altar was an acacia wood box covered with bronze sheets, about 7.5
feet square and 4.5 feet high, topped by a grate, filled with earth, with
horns at each corner. Here offerings were made to the Lord, both
animals and grain.
For sinful man to even approach a holy God, there must be a blood
sacrifice. Jesus died as atonement for our sins. The brazen altar is where
we repent and rid ourselves of our sinful deeds and desires.
When Jesus Christ was put to death by being nailed to a wooden cross,
those men thought they were just executing a man who was disturbing their way of life. They did not realize that the Cross was
planned by God from the beginning of the world.

1. God Reveals His Power through The Cross

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God" (1Cor
1:18).
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and
also for the Greek. (Romans 1:16).

2. God Shows His Love on The Cross

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Rom 5:8).

3. God Removed Our Sorrows on The Cross

"Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him and afflicted" (Isa
53:4).

4. Jesus Took the Punishment for Our Sins on The Cross

"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed... We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid
on him the iniquity of us all" (Isa 53: 5, 6).
Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousnessby whose stripes
you were healed. (1 Peter 2:24).
Because God is so holy and righteous, sin separates us from Him. No one in sin is able to be in His presence. So, not only by dying on the
Cross did Jesus suffer for our sins in our place; but also He made it possible for us know God personally and to experience the love,
peace and joy which fellowship with Him brings.

1. We Become Acceptable To God through the Cross

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God" (2 Cor 5:21).

2. We Receive Forgiveness through The Cross

"For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have
redemption, the forgiveness of sins" (Col 1:13,14).
My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus
Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. (1 John 2:12).

3. We Become Members of God's Family through The Cross

"Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them
brothers. He says, 'I will declare your name to my brothers; in the presence of the congregation I will sing your praise"' (Heb 2:11,
12).
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name (John 1:12)

4. Racial Barriers Are Broken through The Cross

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. For he himself is our
peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with
its commandments and regulations.
"His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to
God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility" (Eph 2:13-16).
Jesus' death on the Cross was a great victory for us. Because God dealt with our sin on the Cross, it means also that all the misery and
suffering which is a result of sin was also dealt with. The Cross has won great freedom for us!

1. Freedom from Satan

"And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the Cross (Col
2:15).
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love (Colossians 1:13).

2. Freedom from Past Sins

"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36).
And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven
you all trespasses (Colossians 2:13).

3. Freedom from Present Sins

"For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace" (Rom 6:14)

4. Freedom from Sickness

"This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: 'He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases'" (Matt 8:17).

5. Freedom from the Curse

"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who is hung on a
tree'" (Gal 3:13)
See the list of curses you have been set free from in Deuteronomy 28:15-68.

6. Freedom from the Judgment

"Then Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But now he has appeared once for all at the end of
the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment " (Heb
9:26-27)

7. Freedom from Everlasting Death

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life"
(John 3:16).
The Cross is the place where the love of God and the righteous judgment of God meet. His righteous judgment demanded the death
penalty for sin - the shedding of blood. His love met His own demands and Jesus, the Son of God, died in our place.
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by
his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled
to him through the death of his son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
"Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation (Rom
5:8-11)
The Cross of Jesus Christ is the center point of mankind's existence on earth. From the moment the first man and woman sinned (see
Genesis 3), it was pre-planned by God that Jesus would die on the Cross.
From that time on, people looked forward in faith to what God promised. He would do on the Cross to save them. Today we look back
and, by believing what Jesus has done for us on the Cross, receive forgiveness and new life.
Today I put my whole trust in what God was doing for me when Jesus died on the Cross. I believe He took the punishment for my sin. I
receive the forgiveness that God is offering to me. And I thank Him for the relationship this now gives me with Him. I make a decision
today that I will live each day in this personal relationship with God and commit myself to share this truth with others.

The shedding of Jesus Christ's blood on the cross was a factor in order for us to receive forgiveness for our sins and acceptance into
the presence of God.
........"without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness" (Heb 9:22).

Life is in the Blood

"For the life of a creature is in the blood and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves ... it is the blood that makes
atonement for one's life" (Lev 17:11)
When we sin, we earn death. "The wages of sin is death" (Rom 6:23). Jesus paid this penalty for us by shedding His blood (dying for us
by shedding His blood (dying for us - in our place).
Atonement (at-one-ment) means to be made AT ONE with God. Jesus gave His life (shed His blood) on the Cross for our AT ONE
MENT (atonement). This made it possible for us to be AT-ONE with God. Jesus' blood means we are no longer His enemy but His
friend, his sons and daughters. By faith we accept what He did for us.

1. Separates Us from God

"But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear" (Isa 59.2).

2. Makes Us Feel Guilty

"My guilt has overwhelmed me like a burden too heavy to bear" (Ps 38:4)

3. Allows Satan to Accuse Us

"...the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night..." (Rev.12:10)

4. Demands the Death Penalty

"... The soul who sins is the one who will die" (Eze 18:4).
The blood of Christ meets all of our needs.
The blood of Christ wholly satisfies God's law - which requires a penalty for breaking the law. I John 3:4 says "sin is breaking the law"
The blood protects us from the penalty of breaking the law (death)
In Exodus 12, God commands the people of Israel to put the blood of a lamb on their door-posts to protect them from the destroyer who would kill all the first-born.
This lamb was a picture of the Lamb - Jesus - Who would come later. God said, ..."when I see the blood, I will pass over [protect] you..."
(vs.13).

1. Fellowship is Restored
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by
his blood how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him (Rom 5:8, 9).

2. We Are Redeemed (Purchased Back From Slavery)

"In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace" (Eph 1:7).
The blood has satisfied God; now it is to satisfy us in the cleansing of our conscience from guilt.

1. The Blood Cleanses From Guilt

How much more, then, will the blood of Christ who through the eternal Spirit suffered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our
conscience from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!" (Heb 9:14).

2. The Blood Sanctifies Us

"And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood" (Heb 13:12).

3. The Blood Brings Us Close To God

"...and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood,
shed on the cross. Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior.
"But now he has reconciled you..." (Col 1:20-22).

4. The Blood Gives Boldness to Enter God's Presence

"Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened

for us through the curtain, that is, the body..

"Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty
conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water" (Heb 10:19-22).

5. The Blood Perfects Us in the Sight of God

"...because by one sacrifice he has made perfect for ever those who are being made holy" (Heb 10:14).
Satan's most strategic activity in this age is as the accuser of the brethren (Rev 12:10) and it is as this that the Lord confronts him in His
special ministry as High Priest through His own blood (Heb 9:11-14).

1. The Blood Puts God on Man's Side Against the Devil

"...If God is for us, who can be against us?...Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen?
"Shall God who justifies? Who is he that condemns? Will Christ Jesus, who died - more than that, who was raised to life - and is at the
right hand of God and is also interceding [praying] for us?" (Rom 8:31, 33, 34).
The devil has no ground for accusation against those who have received the work of Christ's shed blood for them.

2. The Blood Dissolves All Satan's Legal Rights of Ownership

"... in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins" (Col 1:14).
'Redemption' means 'to buy back'. We are under new ownership, and the price that was paid for us was the shed blood of Jesus.
"... the church of God, which he bought with his own blood" (Acts 20:28). See also 1 Corinthians 6:19, 20; 1 Timothy 2:6).

1. Purity of Heart
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from
all sin" (1 Jn 1:7).

2. Eternal Life
Then Jesus said to them, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life
in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:53-54)

3. Approach to God
"But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ" (Eph 2:13).
I now understand what the shed blood of Jesus means to God, to Satan and to me. I make my commitment to share with others the
truth concerning the blood of Christ. I will remind myself often of the covenant God has with me, to forgive my sin and cleanse me from
sin and protect me from Satan's harm.

After understanding the benefits of what our Lord and Savior Jesus did for us at the Cross and understanding that the precious blood
of Jesus has completely restored us to God, and because of that we have become His righteousness in Christ, make the following
declarations of who you are in Christ our Lord daily.

I Am A Child Of God.
In the name of Christ Jesus I declare that I am a child of God and I am washed by the blood of Jesus Christ. I have been chosen by God
almighty to carry-out His commands and His will in the cities of Cochin and Ooty and in the nations I have been called to go to.

I Am The Temple Of The Holy Spirit.

In the name of Jesus Christ I declare that I am the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in me which I have received from God. I am not of my
own. I am the manifestation, re-creation and the result of Gods Word. God spoke His Word into my life and I have become the
manifest presence of Jesus on earth.

I Am A Minister Of God.
In the name of Jesus Christ I declare that I am a minister of God to fulfill the desire and intent of the Word of God in the cities of Cochin
and Ooty and in the nations I have been called to go to.

My Mouth Is The Mouth Of God.

According to the Word of God, in the name of Jesus Christ I declare and confess that my mouth is the mouth of God. My God is the
King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

I Am An Ambassador Of Christ.
In the name of Jesus Christ I declare and identify myself that I am an ambassador of Christ. By virtue of the appointment, I represent
the Kingdom of God. The Word of God says that among us is the Kingdom of God. As I speak, the perfect will of God will be established
in the cities of Cochin and Ooty and in the nations I have been called to go to.

I Have Authority.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I have all authority in heaven and earth to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the
enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me. What I bind in the earth will be bound in Heaven, and anything that I release in the
earth will be released in Heaven.
Right now I stand in the victory stand where Jesus stood, because God put all things in subjection under the feet of Jesus and gave Him
as head over all things to the church, which is His body, to which I belong. I live the victory of Jesus in its fullness which He won on the
cross of Calvary.
In the name of Jesus Christ I declare that, due to the righteousness of Christ in me, Satan and his associated demons have nothing in
me or on my family or in my ministry or on my anointing in Jesus Christ name.
My property, works of my hands and all our belongings, health, our future and our generations are protected by the wall of salvation.
My steps are ordained by God.
In the name of Jesus I reject every spirit of fear; fear of failure, fear of people, fear of evil attacks, fear which enters through bad
dreams, accidents, sickness, or fear of untimely death or any weakness or financial embarrassments .I reject them all right now in
Jesus might name.
The LORD blesses and keeps me and my family.
The LORD makes His face shine upon me and my family. He is gracious to me and my family.
The LORD lifts up His countenance upon me and my family and gives me and my family peace.
Holy angels are in ministration for me and my family.
My God shall never sleep nor slumber. I receive all this in Jesus Christ of Nazareth name Amen.
I believe that I will live and not die to declare the works of the Lord in this earth - Psalm 118:17.
God has given me the strength to live eighty years or more in perfect health - Psalm 90:10.
I believe God's Word that with long life He satisfies me and shows me His salvation - Psalm 91:16.
Jesus went about doing good and healing all oppressed of the devil - Acts 10:38.

What I must do at this point in the model.

The word Laver means wash basin. The English derivative of this word is lavatory which
carries the meaning of place of washing in addition to wash basin.
The BRAZEN LAVER, or basin made of brass, is positioned between the altar and the
Holy Place. The brass was as polished as to function as mirrors.
At the Brazen Altar, the blood of the animal was taken and mixed with hyssop, which
must eventually go into the Holiest of All and be sprinkled before the Lord. Now the
priest must wash his hands of the stains of the Brazen Altar. This depicts the work of
sanctification - the removing of the very stains of sin.
Just as the priests cleansed themselves, this is the time to check our lives.

1Jo 1:10 If we say (claim) we have not sinned, we contradict His Word and make Him out to be false and a liar, and His Word is
not in us [the divine message of the Gospel is not in our hearts].

Isaiah 57:15-21 (NLT) The high and lofty one who inhabits eternity, the Holy One, says this: "I live in that high and holy place
with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I refresh the humble and give new courage to those with repentant hearts.

Act 24:16 Therefore I always exercise and discipline myself [mortifying my body, deadening my carnal affections, bodily
appetites, and worldly desires, endeavoring in all respects] to have a clear (unshaken, blameless) conscience, void of offense
toward God and toward men.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

James 1:21-Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which
is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the
word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately
forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful
hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does

Pro 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp, and the whole teaching [of the law] is light, and reproofs of discipline are the way of
life. [Ps. 19:8; 119:105.]

Rom 3:20b For [the real function of] the Law is to make men recognize and be conscious of sin [not mere perception, but an
acquaintance with sin which works toward repentance, faith, & holy character].

Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; test my heart and my mind (Psalm 26:2).
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

John 15:3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. (The word of God cleanses you)

Do this by yourself when youre alone. Remember, this is not a family prayer but a time of deep personal reflection.

Go through the Ten Commandments. Let them be a mirror to check your life and status with God with. In John 15:3 Jesus says You
are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. It is the word of God that cleanses us.

Exodus 20:1-17
1 And God spoke all these words, saying:
2 "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 You shall have no other gods before Me.
Do I worship any other Gods? Do I put myself ahead of God?
4 "You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath,
or that is in the water under the earth;
5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers
on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,
6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
Do I bow down to any idols? Are there idols in my heart, anything I value above Jesus or my walk with Him?
7 "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
Have I been a good ambassador of Christ? Have I represented the name of Jesus in vain today? Do I use Gods name in vain?
Do I call on Him as a habit without thinking about what I am saying? .
8 "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter , nor
your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.
11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Th erefore
the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
Do I honor God by keeping Sabbath Holy? Do I conduct business that is not of the Lord? Is it just another day to make
money?
12 "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you.
Do I honor my parents? Do I honor those in authority over me? Have I provoked and offended them? Have I been
impatient with their parental discipline, have I been resentful and scornful of their loving admonition?
13 "You shall not murder.
Do I kill by hating? In what ways am I programming my mind and the mind of my children to hate and to be angry or to hold
prejudice? Do I lose my temper often?
14 "You shall not commit adultery.
Have I looked at a woman/man with lust for her/him recently? Do I silence the idle and lustful thoughts in my head or do I
let them entertain me?
Have I physically broken the covenant of marriage I made with my heavenly Father and my spouse by committing adultery?
Do I assist, save, protect, and guard marriage and decency to the best of my ability? Do I keep company with those who have
no regard for this commandment and lust after sexual sins?
15 "You shall not steal.
Have I stolen? Have I taken my neighbors property from him or possessed it against his will, either in secret or openly?
Do I cheat on my taxes? Do I have pirated software/movies/songs in my computer?
Have I been false or dishonest in business, service, or work?
Am I stealing from the Lord? Am I squandering your gifts to me?
16 "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
Have I been a truthful person who has shun lies and defamations? Do I boast or exaggerate? Am I witnessing falsely?
17 "You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant,
nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's."
Am I coveting my neighbors stuff? Am I coveting anothers wife? Am I greedy?

The Gold Lampstand is in the Holy

Place. Upon entering the Holy Place we
view the room 30 feet long, 15 feet
wide, and 15 feet high. At first, our eyes
must become accustomed to the dim
light of the lamps, and we cannot help
but be impressed with the sweet
fragrance of burning incense. The walls
are burnished gold, and the veil -we
have just passed through -is of many
colors with golden needlework.
In spite of all this luster, we note the
simplicity of the furnishings. To our
right is the Table of Shewbread; to our
left the Golden Candlestick, or Lampstand, and directly in front of us, across the room, is the Altar of Incense.
The golden candlestick was a very important item within the Holy Place. It was very costly. It was made of beaten gold. It was
composed of the shaft and the branches. On the ends of the branches there were lamps. Then finally there was the oil for the lamps. It
was in the light from the candlestick that the priest performed his duties before God. There was no natural light in the tabernacle.

Take time out to sing in the Sprit, a new song unto the Lord. Pray in other tongues. Spend as much time as you are able or want to here
with the Holy Spirit, fellowshipping with Him, loving and listening.
If you are not able to speak in tongues yet, sing a new song with your own words. You can also use the prayer below as a guideline to
fellowship and commune with the Holy Spirit.
Dear Father in heaven, in Jesus name I ask you for the Holy Spirit, that through your anointing, give me your wisdom. Help me to solve
all the problems I face through your wisdom.
I welcome you Holy Spirit into my life, into my day. I welcome a deeper more intimate relationship with you today. Holy Spirit, You are
a Holy Person with a will, and emotions, not a genie or some mysterious thing or vapor Please forgive me if I have ever treated you
impersonally. I will always welcome you and love you.
My Heavenly Father worked in the forefront during the Old Testament and Jesus made the New Covenant with His blood so that I can
live in the Age of the Holy Spirit.
Give me your understanding so that I may understand the deep truths of God, and I may live those truths and pass them on to my
children.
Give me counsel so that I will follow your narrow path. If it pleases you, allow me to advise others how to solve their problems.
Give me tremendous might so that I might be used by you to heal the sick and cast out the devil. You are the same yesterday, today,
and forever.
Holy Spirit, I yield to you as I read the Bible. Increase my intimate knowledge of Jesus my Saviour. Give me a keen fear of the Lord so
that I walk very softly before you and not commit any sin. Give me holiness though your presence, O Lord!
I want to depend on you, Holy Spirit, not my own strength.
You are my senior partner, you are my Lord. I depend upon you. Lets go, Holy Spirit. Thank you for your anointing. Lets work
together. I will follow you.

The table of showbread or showbread was a small table made of acacia wood and overlaid with pure gold. It measured 3 feet by 1.5
feet and was 2 feet, 3 inches high. It stood on the right side of the Holy Place across from the lampstand and held 12 loaves of bread,
representing the 12 tribes of Israel.
The priests baked the bread with fine flour and it remained on the table before the Lord for a week; every Sabbath day the priests
would remove it and eat it in the Holy Place, then put fresh bread on the table. Only priests could eat the bread, and it could only be
eaten in the Holy Place, because it was holy.
Showbread also was called bread of the presence because it was to be always in the Lords presence. The Showbread is the symbol
of the Word of God.

The Lord can speak you from that, or bring to your remembrance a word that you have memorized before. Remember that God can
only use what you know. So it is important to study the word of God.
Ask the Lord for Rhema. Give my Lord, your specific word your Rhema Word for my life today. Give me this day my daily bread. Do
your daily Bible reading portion now.
Thank the Lord for the Logos word and His Rhema word. Thank Him for the written word and the inspired Word of God. All the 7,000+
promises of God are written in the scriptures. All those promises (logos - written word) are potentially mine, but not necessarily
practically mine today. Rhema is inspired word made alive in my heart today for a specific application.
Peter never walked on water by reading about the Israelites crossing the Red Sea. He requested Jesus to command him to walk on the
water. And Peter answered Him, Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water. And Jesus, you did that one time. A
specific Rhema word came directly from the Lord to Peter for a specific situation. He heard, faith came to Peter and just to Peter, by
hearing hearing the Rhema Word from the Lord Jesus to his specific request.
The other disciples did not respond; the Rhema word was not for them. Jesus did not call them to walk on the water. They didnt have
the faith or necessarily the desire to do that which Peter did at that moment. Even Peters faith wavered as he saw himself
miraculously walking on the water. (Mat 14:28)
As his faith in that Rhema Word wavered, he became as a wave driven and tossed by the sea double minded, lacking in faith and he
sank. As he cried out, Jesus, he saved him and brought him into the boat. And so that miracle was over for that specific time.
Peter did not step out of the boat by the written word but by the specific spoken word of the Lord he heard.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Rhema from Jesus.

So I must wait on you, Lord, today if I want to get your inspired Word. Knowledge can become a kind of false faith. I want true faith
from you today, Lord! Operating on knowledge only can be disobeying you. I want to obey you in all things today.
Naming and claiming promises my finger lands on in scripture is a dangerous business. Waiting on you, Lord, for Rhema is the way of
the mature disciple.
Jesus, you spoke of this truth when you said: Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the MOUTH of God.
(Mat 4:4) Give me my daily bread from your word today Lord.
There is a specific Rhema word for you every single day, and for each situation you face every day. All that is required is your diligence
in seeking and receiving it.

place. Like the table of showbread, the altar of incense was made of acacia wood overlaid with pure gold. It was one cubit long and one
cubit wide. The height was two cubits, or about three feet. Like the brazen altar, it was foursquare and it had four horns, one on each
corner. The two poles with which it was carried, were also made of wood overlaid with gold, and the four rings, that held the poles
were of pure gold (Ex. 30:1-10).
Nothing but the sacred fire and the prescribed incense was ever placed upon it. (Ex 30:9, 10). In offering of incense the priest was
brought more directly into the presence of God than in any other act of his daily work.

1. Who was to offer the incense on the altar?

Exodus 30:7, 8 "Aaron shall burn on it sweet incense every morning; when he tends the lamps, he shall burn incense on it.
"And when Aaron lights the lamps at twilight, he shall burn incense on it, perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your
generations.
Note: Each day the priest was to conduct a service of consecration on behalf of the people, and this service was called the Daily.
This service was performed at the altar of burnt offering in the court of the tabernacle and in the holy place. The daily service
consisted of the morning and evening burnt offering (A lamb each time), and the offering of sweet incense on the golden altar.
Upon this altar the priest was to burn incense every morning and evening.

2. What did the incense symbolize?

Psalms 141:2 Let my prayer be set before You as incense.

3. Who does Paul say the priest represents?

Hebrews 7:24, 25 But He (Jesus), because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able
to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

1 Titus 2:5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.
Note: The altar of incense is a call to Gods people to start day and end each day with prayer. Here Jesus brings our prayers to the
Father pleading His blood for each one. Thus, the altar of incense is a call to prayer.

5. What is Gods invitation to us?

Hebrews 4:14-16 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God,
let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all
points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and
find grace to help in time of need.

1Pe 5:7 Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Note: The altar of incense is the third step in sanctification, our Christian growth. As the oil of the lampstand represented the Holy
Spirit, and the bread at the table of showbread represented the Word of God, so the incense represents prayer which is essential
to our growing up in Jesus.

6. Upon what conditions are we promised needed blessings?

Matthew 7:7, 8 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. "For everyone who
asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

James 4:2 Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
Note Prayer is not the overcoming of Gods unwillingness to help us, but rather it is taking hold of Gods willingness to do so.
Prayer is the opening of the heart to God as to a friend.

7. What has God promise to do with my needs?

Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Note: There is a difference between need & greed. All that the child of God needs is theirs for the asking. What we cannot do in
our own strength can be accomplished when our efforts are united with divine power. Those who ask according to the Word of
God will not be disappointed. Jesus can be trusted to answer our request the way we would want them answered if we knew the
end from the beginning. In short He knows what is best for us.

8. How must one ask in order to receive?

James 1:6, 7 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the
wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a
rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Note: When we come to God with our needs we must believe that He cares of us, and has our best interest in mind. However,
disbelieving is love, and power jeopardizes our request.

9. Under what condition does the Lord not hear prayer?

1 John 3:22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are

pleasing in His sight.

Palms 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear. (See Isaiah 59:1, 2 James 4:3)

1 Peter 3: 7 Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as
being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered. (See 1Peter 3:1-7)
Note: Rebellion, contention and discord quench the spirit of prayer. Many grieve the Spirit and wound Jesus by giving into
impatience, unkind words, disobedience, strife, and an unforgiving attitude.

10. When praying, what must we do in order to be forgiven?

Mark 11:25 And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven
may also forgive you your trespasses.
Note: If Jesus is so ready and willing to forgive us our sins, how can we be unwilling to forgive another? (See Matthew 18:23-35)

11. What example did Jesus give of how to start each day?

Mark 1:35 Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and
there He prayed.

12. What did Jesus say concerning secret prayer?

Matthew 6:6 "But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in
the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

13. With what should our prayer be mingled?

Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be
made known to God.
Note: Prayer does not change God, but it does change us and, our relation to Him. It places us in a frame of mind where God can
consistently and safely grand our requests.

14. How often should we pray?

Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.
Note: This doesnt mean we should be always on our knees, but that we should live in an attitude of prayer. We must remember
too, that prayer does not change God, but it does change us and, our relation to Him. It places us in a frame of mind where God can
consistently and safely grand our requests.

15. If an answer does not come at the time and in the manner expected, what should be our attitude?

Psalms 37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him

16. What if I dont pray just right or worse, I dont know what to pray for?

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but
the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Note: This is what happens when we pray in tongues. Ask, and you will receive. What a joy to know that our prayers are delivered
to the throne without corruption through the power of the Holy Spirit.

This is the time to pray. You can pray for yourself, your spouse, children, extended family, your pastor and his family, brothers and
sisters in the church.
However, when you pray do you believe? Or do you just wish? We must believe that God hears us when we pray.
Most of the good things that you are missing in your life today are the direct result of your own belief system. You say that you believe
God, but when you go to Him in prayer you must believe that you will receive what you pray for. In the last week of Jesus life he taught
his disciples a great object lesson to illustrate this truth. This is the key to unleashing the power of God in your life on a regular basis.
When you pray through the list below, simply believe that you will receive. Pray all the things you want to receive from the Lord and
thank Him for them.

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark
11:24

Lord our God, we ask You to bring peace and well-being to Jerusalem, Your special city (Psalm 122:6). Enable all those who live there
find the wholeness and peace that only Yeshua, the Prince of Peace, can give. May it continue to be the undivided political capital of
Israel. Raise up intercessors for Israel. Put more watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem, who would give You no peace day or night until
You establish Jerusalem and make her the praise of the Earth (Isaiah 62:6-7).
For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not keep quiet, until her righteousness goes forth like brightness,
and her salvation like a torch that is burning (Isaiah 62:1). Righteous and Holy Father of Messiah Yeshua, make Israel once again
righteous, holy, victorious, beautiful in Your sight, a delight and a joy to You.
Our Father and our King, we pray for the current leaders in Israel, including the Prime Minister and his cabinet, the mayor of Jerusalem
and the other cities, all those in the military, that they make good decisions based on the Word of God. Grant wisdom and
understanding to the members of Israel's Knesset and Supreme Court.
Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. Let them be as grass upon the housetops, which withers before it grows up
(Psalm 129:5-6). King of kings and Lord of lords, deal justly and swiftly with Your enemies. Confuse and divide the tongues of those
who would incite violence against Israel (Psalm 55:9).
We know that it is good and pleasant for brothers to dwell together in unity (Psalm 133), and so, God of peace, we pray for a spirit of
peace between religious and secular Jews, and for peace to exist among Messianic Believers in the Land.
Our Father and our God, remove the veil You have placed over the eyes of Israel, that we would recognize Yeshua as the King and
Messiah and Savior (2 Corinthians 3:14). We ask that effective doors be opened for us to bring the Good News of your son Jesus our
Messiah to the Jewish community according to Your Word (Romans 1:16).
Dear Father in Jesus mighty name we pray for Cochin (Ernakulam) _______________________________________________________. We know that
You love this city, and have a great plan for it.
1.

We ask that you meet the needs of all in this city for food, shelter, work, justice, dignity and peace.

2.

Teach us to minister to the needs of this city; to seek and save the lost, to feed the hungry, to heal the sick, and to comfort the
sorrowing.

3.

We ask that You call the leaders who are in spiritual darkness into Your marvelous light.

4.

We ask that You guide our leaders in wisdom and compassion.

5.

We pray that this citys leaders will desire understanding and find it in God's Word, that they will govern in mercy and truth.

6.

We pray that corrupt leaders will recognize their evil ways and repent, or else be removed from office, that leaders who despise
You will fall from power.

7.

We agree with You and pray that decisions against the Gospel of Christ will be brought to confusion and made ineffective.

8.

We pray that all the people of authority in the communications media would be drawn to You and to Your truth.

9.

We pray that the media would report the news fairly, including the good news of Gospel work, that we would have favor from you
and in their sight.

10. We pray for their eyes to be opened that they would understand what really is happening, and for them to have the courage to
report it truthfully.
11. We ask for the promotion of Spirit filled people to positions of authority and influence in the media industry.
12. We pray for free and fair communications media that proclaims the full truth.
13. We pray for the schools in this city and ask that the students, teachers, administrators and school boards would hunger to know
You the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
14. We pray that those responsible for writing and choosing textbooks would be guided by Your Holy Spirit.
15. We ask for Your protection of our childrens schools, send Your angels to guard and protect our children.
16. We ask that You anoint us to bring a holy spiritual awakening in our high schools and colleges.
17. We pray that You enable our ministry to start Holy Spirit filled Christian Schools and Colleges.
Through Jesus Christ, Let it be! Amen.

room, a place no ordinary person could enter. It was Gods
special dwelling place in the midst of His people. During the
Israelites wanderings in the wilderness, God appeared as a
pillar of cloud or fire in and above the Holy of Holies. The Holy
of Holies was a perfect cube its length, width and height
were all equal to 15 feet.

sacrificial death on the cross changed that. When He died, the

curtain in the Jerusalem temple was torn in half, from the top
to the bottom. Only God could have carried out such an
incredible feat because the veil was too high for human hands
to have reached it, and too thick to have torn it. (The
Jerusalem temple, a replica of the wilderness tabernacle, had a
curtain that was about 60 feet in height, 30 feet in width and
four inches thick.) Furthermore, it was torn from top down,
meaning this act must have come from above.

A thick curtain separated the Holy of Holies from the Holy

Place. This curtain, known as the veil, was made of fine linen
and blue, purple and scarlet yarn. There were figures of
cherubim (angels) embroidered onto it. Cherubim, spirits who
serve God, were in the presence of God to demonstrate His
almighty power and majesty. They also guarded the throne of
God. These cherubim were also on the innermost layer of
covering of the tent. If one looked upward, they would see the
cherubim figures.

As the veil was torn, the Holy of Holies was exposed. Gods
presence was now accessible to all. Shocking as this may have
been to the priests ministering in the temple that day, it is
indeed good news to us as believers, because we know that
Jesus death has atoned for our sins and made us right before
God. The torn veil illustrated Jesus body broken for us,
opening the way for us to come to God. As Jesus cried out It is
finished! on the cross, He was indeed proclaiming that Gods
redemptive plan was now complete. The age of animal
offerings was over. The ultimate offering had been sacrificed.

The word veil in Hebrew means a screen, divider or

separator that hides. What was this curtain hiding? Essentially,
it was shielding a holy God from sinful man. Whoever entered
into the Holy of Holies was entering the very presence of God.
In fact, anyone except the high priest who entered the Holy of
Holies would die. Even the high priest, Gods chosen mediator
with His people, could only pass through the veil and enter this
sacred dwelling once a year, on a prescribed day called the
Day of Atonement.
The picture of the veil was that of a barrier between man and
God, showing man that the holiness of God could not be trifled
with. Gods eyes are too pure to look on evil and He can
tolerate no sin (Habakkuk 1:13). The veil was a barrier to make
sure that man could not carelessly and irreverently enter into
Gods awesome presence. Even as the high priest entered the
Holy of Holies on the Day of Atonement, he had to make some
meticulous preparations: He had to wash himself, put on
special clothing, bring burning incense to let the smoke cover
his eyes from a direct view of God, and bring blood with him to
make atonement for sins.
But only the high priest entered the inner room, and that
only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered
for himself and for the sins the people had committed in
ignorance. (Hebrews 9:7)
So the presence of God remained shielded from man behind a
thick curtain during the history of Israel. However, Jesus

We can now boldly enter into Gods presence, the inner

sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before
us, has entered on our behalf. (Hebrews 6:19-20)
Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the
Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way
opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body let us
draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of
faith. (Hebrews 10:19-22)
The Holy of Holies is a representation of heaven itself, Gods
dwelling place, which we have access now through Christ. In
Revelations, Johns vision of heaven the New Jerusalem
also was a perfect square, just as the Holy of Holies was
(Revelation 21:16).
For Christ did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was
only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to
appear for us in Gods presence. Nor did he enter heaven to
offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters
the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own.
But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages
to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. (Hebrews
9:24-26)
We can come boldly to the Holy of Holies because of Jesus
Christ. We are in the presence of God, right in the throne
room of God, seated with Jesus Christ in the heavenly realms.

This is where Spiritual communion happens. This is where we make things happen with our God given authority. Say the following
scriptures out loud and make the declarations that follow by faith.

Ephesians 2:4-10 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in
trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit
together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His
kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of
God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God
prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Hebrews 4:14-16 14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let
us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points
tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find
grace to help in time of need.

1 Corinthians 2:9-16 9 But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things
which God has prepared for those who love Him.[a]
10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what
man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the
Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things
that have been freely given to us by God.
13 These things we also speak, not in words which mans wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual
things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor
can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly
judged by no one. 16 For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Isaiah 45:11 Thus says the Lord, The Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons; And
concerning the work of My hands, you command Me.

Ecclesiastes 8:4 Where the word of a king is, there is power; And who may say to him, "What are you doing?"

I stand in solemn authority of God almighty in the name of Jesus Christ and decree that all created things (which are in heaven or on
earth, or under the earth, under water, in the air, visible and invisible, thrones or dominions, principalities, powers or angels, death or
life, things present, or things to come, height or depth, or any other created thing) must be subject to my God given authority. You
cannot deny nor oppose the commands which come through my mouth with the authority of the Word of God, but you have to obey in
the name of Jesus Christ.

John 14:30 "I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.

Isaiah 60:18 Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither wasting nor destruction within your borders; But you
shall call your walls Salvation, And your gates Praise.

Job 1:10 "Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have
blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.

Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

In the name of Jesus Christ I declare that, due to the righteousness of Christ in me, Satan and his associated demons have nothing in
me or on my family or in my ministry or on my anointing in Jesus Christ name.
My property, works of my hands and all our belongings, health, our future and our generations are protected by the wall of salvation.
My steps are ordained by God.

Psalm 18:29 For by You I have run through a troop, By my God I have leaped over a wall.

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall
condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me," Says the LORD.
In the name of Jesus I declare and confess in the presence of God, in the presence of Holy angels and among the company of witness of
Jesus Christ that I reject every spirit of fear in the name of Jesus Christ. Fear of failure, fear of people, fear of evil attacks, fear which
enters through bad dreams, accidents, sickness, or fear of untimely death or any weakness or financial embarrassments I rebuke and

reject right now in Jesus might name.

Scripture says in Psalm 68:1 Let God arise, Let His enemies be scattered; Let those also who hate Him flee before Him. In the name of
Jesus I declare that, right now, God arise and the enemies of God in this nation be scattered. Now I declare in the name of Jesus Christ
that every deceptive work in this nation be bound, dismantled and be destroyed. I close all opportunities of the deceptive agents of the
Devil in reaching their goals in the name of Jesus Christ. Every agenda, strategy and the works of Satan and his deceptive agents be
bound and be destroyed in the name of Jesus Christ. I bind all the deceptive agents of Satan in this nation in the name of Jesus Christ.
I declare that in the name of Jesus Christ, by virtue of the work Jesus did on the cross, I have the delegated authority and power over
all the powers of the enemy. Jesus Christ has wiped out all the handwriting of requirements that were against me, my family and my
ministry taking them out of the way, having nailed them to the cross.
Jesus Christ has disarmed principalities and powers and made a show of them, openly triumphing over them in it.
Right now I stand in the victory stand where Jesus stood, because God put all things in subjection under the feet of Jesus and gave Him
as head over all things to the church, which is His body, to which I belong. I live the victory of Jesus in its fullness which He won on the
cross of Calvary.
Dear Father, thank You for setting me right with you in Christ Jesus. I Praise You and worship You. Thank you Lord for all the blessing
you have given me now. I thank you that in Christ you have heard my prayer and claim the following scriptures that declares that my
prayers are answered.
Pray thus:
Jer 1:12
Jn 16:24
Mt 21:22
Jer 33:3
Jn 14:14
Jn 16:23
Jas 5:16
Job 22:27
1Jn 5:14
1Jn 5:15
Jn 14:13
Isa 55:11
Jn 15:7
Mt 18:18
Mt 18:19
Jn 15:16
Jer 29:12
Isa 65:24
Ps 91:15
Ps 141:2
Now pray:

In Jeremiah 1:12 you have written; I am ready to perform My Word. Do the same with all the scripture below.
"I am ready to perform My Word."
"Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full."
"...whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
"Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things..."
"If you ask anything in my name, I will do it."
"...whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you."
"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."
"You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you..."
"Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us."
"And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him."
"And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
"So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it
shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."
"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you."
"Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be
loosed in heaven."
"Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My
Father in heaven."
"You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should
remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you."
"Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you."
"It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer, and while they are speaking I will hear."
"He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him."
"Let my prayer be set before You as incense, the lifting of my hands as the evening sacrifice."
Dear heavenly Father, I remind you of the covenant we have through the blood of your Son Jesus and I claim all the above
promises to me in Jesus mighty name.

Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey
his commands and do what pleases him. I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul
prospers. (1 John 3:21-22; 3 John 1:2)
