MISSION
The mission of the Department of Mechanical Engineering,REC has three beliefs
that center on the principle of improving lives and livelihoods:
To create knowledge through research in the science and technology of
mechanical engineering.
To share knowledge through educational programs and the dissemination
of our new discoveries.
To develop the professional potential of faculty, staff, and students

1.3 State the Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) (05)
a) To produce graduates who would have developed a strong background in basic
science and mathematics and ability to use these tools in their chosen fields of
specialization.
b) To produce graduates who have the ability to demonstrate technical competence in
the fields of engineering and develop solutions to the problems.
c) To produce graduates who would attain professional competence through life-long
learning such as advanced degrees, professional registration, and other professional
activities.
d) To produce graduates who function effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment
and individually, within a global, societal, and environmental context.
e) To produce graduates who would be able to take individual responsibility and to work
as a part of a team towards the fulfillment of both individual and organizational goals.
