Udaan India Foundation is a Mumbai based registered not for profit organization working with children
from low-income communities in the field of education. Our primary aim is to ensure that every child of
school going age is gaining a strong holistic educational foundation to become a responsible,
compassionate, confident youth of tomorrow.
Our Vision: Every child educated and equipped with equal opportunities to transform their lives.
Our Mission: To enable a brighter future for children from low-income communities by providing them with
desired knowledge, skills, values and support to achieve their true potential.
A childs journey at Udaan starts at Kindergarten level, continues through school years and supports them
until they become employable. The focus is always in making learning a continuous, joyous and voluntary
experience for children, which inspires them to believe in themselves and take on the future with
confidence. Through our work we hope to see perceptible changes in the following areas:

Increased enrolments in school

Decrease in school drop out rates
Enhanced employability skills

With an aim to Empower through Education, Udaan offers volunteering opportunities through following
programmes:
Kindergarten Program July to March. 10am-12pm, Monday to Friday at Udaan Library,
Hiranandani Gardens, Powai.
Learning Center July to March. 3pm-6pm, Monday to Friday at Gopal Sharma School, Powai
Vihar
Saturday Club (Experiential learning) July to February. 3pm-5.30pm on Saturdays at Gopal
Sharma School, Powai Vihar
Computer Center Throughout the year. 2pm-7pm, Monday to Saturday at Transocean House,
Hiranandani gardens, Powai
Library Program August to May. 1pm-2.45pm on Friday, Saturday, Monday and 10am-4pm on
Sundays at Udaan Library, Hiranandani Gardens, Powai.
