Sulli is the new girl boyin town. Upon entering her new school, she stumbles upon Lee Junssi and
immediately becomes the best of friends. During her stay in there, she meets her best friend's older
brother, Onew, and his friend, Minho. Instantly, Onew and Sulli became friends. However, Sulli finds it
difficult to befriend Minho though she doesn't know why until one day... Minho asks for her help.

CHAPTER ONE: INSTANTLY FRIENDS

"Annyeonghaseyo, Choi Sulliimnida (Hello everyone, I'm Choi Sulli)," Sulli introduced herself and
winked...at the girls.
"Omo!(Oh my!) Is she...he...a girl or a boy?" one girl squealed and blushed.
"He's so cute," another said. Sulli blushed at the compliment and shook her head.
"Ani (I'm not). I'm a girl; just kinda 'boyish' if that's what you want to know," Sulli answered and smiled
at them.
"Okay, please take your seat now Ms. Choi," their homeroom teacher, Mrs. Park, said and assigned Sulli
to her seat.

"Annyeong (Hello) I'm Victoria," a pretty girl with pretty eyes said as she looked at Sulli who sat beside
her.
"Hey," Sulli greeted back and smiled. "Mind showing me around later during break time?"
"Oh, it's my honor," Victoria replied and blushed.

After a boring hour of discussion Mrs. Park dismissed the class. Sulli packed her things up and stood up,
ready to leave when four girls blocked her way; with the shortest girl slamming her hands on Sulli's table.
Sulli was startled at the sudden action of the girl in front of her. Sulli blew her bangs away from her face
and gave each girls a questioning look.
"What?" Sulli asked.
"Don't you 'what' me! Listen to me and listen well because I'll only say this once," the short girl said and
glared at Sulli.
"Omo you're not confessing are you? Am I that charming?" Sulli joked and smiled. The short girl stared at
her blankly. "Chill girls I was just trying to lift up the mood. So what's up? Did I do something wrong?"
"Just shut up and listen!" the tallest girl half-shouted and rolled her eyes.
"Okay, okay. Geez no need to shout," Sulli said and shook her head. "Can you tell me what's going on?"
"Listen newbie don't mess around in this school," the shortest girl started.

"I'm not," Sulli said and smiled. "Are you done?"

"Shut up!" the tallest girl said again. Sulli just sighed and nodded.

"Don't mess around with the four of us because we are the queenkas of this school and no one, I repeat no
one, dares to lay a finger on us. We are the rule makers so you must follow us. If you try to mess around,
you hope you haven't come into this school because I'm telling you, things will get ugly. So just stay away
from us; we don't want to have your cooties. Ew, that's just gross. Oh, and one more thing... make sure to
stay away from my Minho-oppa and his friends! Don't dare lay a finger on him too! Got that?" the short
girl said and smirked. "Now if you may excuse us."
"Yah seriously? What am I, a dog?" Sulli asked them that made them halt. The short girl turned around
and smiled at Sulli.
"Oh, that was rude of us huh? We didn't even introduce ourselves. Well, Choi Sulli, our dog, meet your
masters," the short girl said in sarcasm and pointed at her and her friends. "I'm Stephanie Hwang Mi
Young or Tiffany in short; I'm the leader if in case you hadn't notice. This tall girl in here is Choi
Sooyoung, this is Im Yoon Ah, and this...she's Kwon Yuri." With that said, they all walked out.
"O...kay? That was weird," Sulli whispered to herself and shook her head and stood up. "Those girls ruin
my day."

"Hey," someone said with a cheerful voice. Sulli narrowed her eyebrows and looked at the person.
"What!? Are you going to tell me off too!?" Sulli asked in exasperation. The girl was startled at the
sudden rage of Sulli.
"S...sorry I was uh... I just wanted to ask you if you want to eat with me," the girl said with a soft voice.
"Oh," Sulli uttered, calming down and guilt washing over her.
"They're like that?" Sulli asked in disbelief. Junssi nodded and smiled.
"Yeah they are like that to everyone. Well, except for me that is," Junssi said.
"Really?But why?"Sulli asked.
"Just because," Junssi replied briefly.

For the entire break time, Sulli and Junssi chatted about random stuff and eventually got to know each
other. Junssi kept laughing everytimeSulli would tell her a funny story that happened to Sulli back in the

states. People looked at the two weirdly because of the immediate closeness when in fact, the two just
met!
"Are they together now?" someone asked.
"Ew, gross," another replied.

"Hey Lee Junssi you're actually fun to be with," Sulli complimented which made the younger girl blush.
"Gomawo (Thanks)," Junssi replied shyly.
"You're actually the first girl I'm friends with in my whole life. I've been surrounded by guy friends since
I was young so having a girl friend is actually kinda cool. Plus, you're not like those powderpuff girls who
are so picky and stuff; you know what I mean?" Sulli said and giggled.
"Yeah I know what you mean. Oh, hey Sulli-ah?" Junssi said and looked at Sulli.
"Hmm?"
"Come over to my house after school. I want you to meet my brother and his friends. They're fun to be
with too, I promise."
CHAPTER TWO: MEETING HER OPPA AND FRIENDS
"This is your house? Are you sure this is a house?" Sulli asked as she looked at the massive building in
front of her, which Junssi calls a house.
"Of course. Why?" Junssi asked and smiled. Sulli shook her head and just smiled.
"I almost thought this was a palace or something," Sulli joked.
"C'mon inside," Junssi beckoned. Sulli and her stepped inside the 'house' and both were greeted with tons
of maids.
"Welcome home Junssi-ssi," one of the maids said and bowed. Junssi smiled in return and looked at the
head maid.
"Ahjumma (auntie, Mrs.), is oppa home?" Junssi asked and grinned. "I want to introduce him to my
friend."
"He's upstairs with his friends my lady," the head maid answered. Junssi nodded and led Sulli upstairs.

"Oppa, I'm home!!!" Junssi shouted and opened her brother's door without his consent.

"Yah get out!" her brother scolded her but she just giggled. "I said...oh, yah you already have a boyfriend
at the first day of school!?" her brother asked in disbelief and walked towards the two.
"You're so silly oppa. She's a girl; Choi Sulli," Junssi said, giggling. Sulli giggled a bit at Junssi's brother's
silliness too. Because of this, her brother turned red.
"Sorry about that it's just that...you kinda look like a boy..." her brother said shyly. Sulli shook her head
and smiled.
"Gwenchana (it's okay)! I'm kinda boyish anyway. I'm Choi Sulli," Sulli said, still smiling.

"Hi Onew is the name," Junssi's brother introduced himself and shook hands with Sulli. "You're cute."
"Yah oppa! Oh, hey actually oppa's real name is Lee Jinki. Call him Jinki-oppa," Junssi said and laughed.
"Yah you evil sister! Oh, please Sulli-ssi don't call me that. I hate that name," Onew begged. Sulli just
stared at him and smiled.
"Why? It's such a nice name. I'll call you Jinki-oppa," Sulli teased and stuck her tongue out at him.
"But...! Yah Lee Junssi you're gonna get it later," Onew threatened and shot a death glare at his younger
sibling. Junssi only laughed and stuck out her tongue at Onew.
"Whatever oppa, you always say that," Junssi teased and laughed.
"You and your sister don't always get along, hyung," one of Onew's friend said and turned to look at Sulli.
"Hello Sulli-ssi, I'm Lee Taemin and I love banana milk...just to let you know," he said and winked at
Sulli.
"Nice to meet you Taemin-oppa," Sulli politely said and smiled at Taemin. The mentioned boy blushed
when he heard Sulli call him 'oppa.'
"Hey mushroom boy you're being a playboy huh?" teased Onew's other friend. Taemin blushed more at
the mention of his nickname.
"Yah Jonghyun-hyung don't call me that in front of a girl!" Taemin scolded and looked away from Sulli.

"Forgive my oppa and his friends, Sulli. They're a bit...you know, crazy," Junssi teased, earning a death
glare from one of Onew's friends who was laying on the bed.
"Yah am I crazy for you?" he said and sat up. "Hey Sulli, the name is Key," he casually said and smirked.
"Oppa I didn't know you were here too," Junssi said and smiled. "Well, you're excluded from the crazy
list," she added and blushed. Key stood up and patted Junssi's head.

"I'm jealous you have a boyfriend," Key teased making Junssi blush.
"A...aniyo (no). Oppa, Sulli isn't my boyfriend...I already said that earlier," Junssi explained and made a
poker face. "Didn't you hear me? Oh, let me guess... my oppa is deaf!" she teased and giggled.
"Yah I'm not. I was just teasing," Key replied and chuckled. "You might want to exclude one of us from
the crazy list too, Junssi."
"Oh, right," Junssi said, remembering. "Sulli-ah...last but not the least, meet the mighty Choi Minho, the
school's popular kingka," Junssi continued and pointed at a figure looking at a void space out in the
balcony.
'Minho? He's the guy those mean girls asked me to avoid right? If he is one of Onew's friends and Onew
is Junssi's brother and she is basically my friend then it means... we're going to be hanging out once in a
while too! No wonder those girls aren't mean to Junssi; she's close with Onew and his friends!!! Is it
really safe to be friends with popular people?' Sulli asked in her mind. She had a lot of questions in her
mind but couldn't speak them out and instead just smiled and said, "Great. I'm hoping to hang out with
you guys some other time."
CHAPTER THREE: BLUSHING DAY
The next day Sulli and Junssi arrived in school together. They were with Junssi's brother and his friends
too. Sulli gulped as she stepped inside the school building. Everyone sent her death glares that pierced
through her soul while she walked with Junssi and the kingkas of the school. The short girl from
yesterday, Tiffany, walked toward Sulli and crossed her arms.
"Bother explaining this?" Tiffany asked as she raised an eyebrow.
"What?" Sulli asked, acting as if she didn't know what Tiffany was referring to. "Explain what shortie?"
"I told you to stay away from them! Especially Minho!" Tiffany said loudly and gave Sulli a sharp look.
"You clearly remember don't you?" she added.
"Of course I do. I didn't know this was the Minho you were talking about though," Sulli said mockingly
which made the girl in front of her angry.
"Yah!" Tiffany shouted but before she could say another word Onewinterferred.
"Hey, hey no need to raise your voice. Don't be upset early in the morning sweetheart," Onew cooed
Tiffany and winked. This made the latter blush. "Frowning face doesn't suit such a girl with angelic
features. We'll go ahead," he continued and with that, they all walked away.

"Whoa my oppa is being a playboy now huh?" Junssi teased and giggled. "Did you see how red Tiffany
turned?"
"We all saw it, silly. We have eyes so of course we did," Key said and chuckled. "You're so gullible," he
added and ruffled the younger's hair.

"What's so gullible about that?" Junssi asked, posing her famous poker face.
"You're still cute even if your expression is like that, you know," Key teased and Sulli noticed the bright
pink tinted on his cheeks.
"W...what?" Junssi asked, shocked at the sudden compliment. 'Or am I just hearing things wrong?' she
asked in her mind.
"Stop with the flirting now. C'mon," Minho interrupted and started walking faster.
"Aish... that guy always seems like he's on a monthly period. The worse part is that it's an everyday
thing," Jonghyun said and rolled his eyes. Onew and Taemin chuckled at the guy's silliness. "I'm serious,"
Jonghyun added.
"Well he's probably right. We need to go to class now or we'll be late," Sulli said with a smile. "C'mon."

"Does she like my best friend?" Onew asked out of the blue. Junssi hit him playfully on the head. "Oww!
What was that for!?" he asked as he rubbed his 'sore' head.
"That's for being stupid, oppa. Of course she doesn't like him! That's too fast. Just because she agreed
with him, doesn't mean she likes him; use some logic," Junssi teased and stuck her tongue out at him. Key
chuckled and patted her head.
"You're really mean to your oppa, you know," he said and smiled. Junssi smiled back and couldn't help
but blush a bit at the sudden contact.
'He always pats my head! What's happening to me? He'd always done that but why does it feel so special
right now? Aish!!! I'm going crazy!' Junssi thought to herself. Taemin snapped his fingers in front of her
face and she immediately snaps out of her reverie.
"C'mon daydreamer, hurry up or we'll be late for class," Taemin said and grinned.
CHAPTER FOUR: JERKFACE
Weeks have passed and Sulli is finally close with Onew and his friends. Wait, scratch that: most of his
friends. She still haven't really made friends with Minho. He would usually just walk away when she talks
to him like she doesn't exist. At all. And that annoyed Sulli.
"You know the jerk could just tell me if he doesn't want me to be his friend," Sulli said bitterly as she sat
across Junssi. The latter chuckled who earned a glare from Sulli. "I'm serious. His friends are so friendly!
What the heck happened to him? Did your brother just sympathize him that's why he's part of their
group?" Sulli asked.
"Sulli~! You are one crazy girl, you know," Junssi replied. Sulli rolled her eyes and sighed. "Don't worry,
he'll come to his senses soon. Minho-oppa is just really um... cold to new people but eventually he'll open
up," Junssi added.

"New people!? Am I still new to him!? I've been in here for like six friggin' weeks and I'm still new?"
Sulli asked in disbelief, her mouth ajar.
"Who knows what goes on in that guy's mind," Junssi joked. Just then, her brother together with his
friends approached them. "And speaking of the 'jerk', Sulli," she said while jabbing her finger towards
Minho's direction.
"Aish..." Sulli uttered and rested her cheek on her palm. "I'm gonna give him one last chance to be friends
with me and if not then I don't care!" she added.
"Why are you so concerned anyway that you guys become friends?" Junssi asked suspiciously, raising an
eyebrow. She noticed Sulli's cheeks turning bright pink and then it hit her. "Do you...?"
"NO!" Sulli said almost too quickly.
"Okay," came Junssi's reply, totally not convinced.

"Hey," Onew greeted as he sat beside Sulli. "Sulli-yah, are you sick? You're pink," Onew said worriedly.
"Yeah, I wonder why?" Junssi asked; there was a hint of teasing in her tone.
"Shut up Junssi," Sulli mumbled under her breath.
"Maybe she is sick," Key said and took a seat next to Junssi. The latter's cheeks instantly turned red and
this didn't go unnoticed by Sulli. Sulli smirked at the sight and looked at her best friend.
"You know Jinki-oppa... I think your sister is the one who's sick. Look at how red she is!" Sulli teased and
laughed.
"Yah!" Junssi whined.Key chuckled and patted her head and her face reddened even more. 'What the heck
is wrong with me? Key-oppa had always been this close and... asdjbwhdfls I'm turning nuts!'
"Omo look how red she turned!" Taemin said, adding salt to the injury. Sulli laughed as she pointed at her
best friend's reddened cheeks.
"Aish! Will you please shut up!? You're so annoying; stop laughing," Minho snapped and stood up. "I'm
going ahead," he added before walking away.
"Aish! What's wrong with that jerkface!?" Sulli asked, annoyed. "He's the one who's annoying."
"I guess he's in that time of the month," Jonghyun joked which caused all of them to laugh.
"You're mean," Junssi said as she clutched onto her tummy while laughing. "But that was a nice one!"
CHAPTER FIVE: THE FIANCE
"Bye Sulli!" Junssi said as she waved at her friend. "See you tomorrow!" she added.

"Alright, bye to you. Take care," Sulli shouted back. Just then, Key appeared; Sulli smirked when a
sudden thought came into her mind. "Oh, and hwaiting! You can do this! Good luck in confessing your
love to Key!" she literally yelled that made both Junssi and Key halt.
"Uh... what?" Key asked as he turned around. He looked at Junssi who was as red as a tomato. "Confess?
Confess what exactly?" he asked Sulli.

Later that night Minho came home and was greeted by his dad who seemed to have been waiting for him.
"What are you doing here?" Minho asked coldly.
"Now, now. Let's not get into an argument and you just go upstairs and dress nicely, okay?" his dad said
and walked to the dining area. "We have a special guest coming over."

Minho sighed in frustration and went upstairs. He carelessly dropped his bag on the floor and collapsed
on his bed. "Who's the special guest?" he asked himself. Just then, an image of a certain someone flashed
in his mind. "No, no, no, no! It can't be that witch of a girl. I'm gonna kill myself if she shows up." Minho
stood up and got dressed. After making sure that he looked decent and presentable he went downstairs.
"Minho-ssi, the guest has arrived. Your dad wants you in the dining room now," their butler said as soon
as Minho reached the last step. Minho smiled and nodded.
"Got it," Minho said and walked to the dining room, completely dreading to see who this special guest
was.

"Oh, Minho just in time!" his dad said with a grin plastered on his face. "Meet my future daughter-in-law,
Jung Krystal," he continued and gestured the girl beside him to stand up. The mentioned girl stood up and
turned to Minho who immediately snaps his head up at the mention of her name. Krystal smiled at Minho
but the latter didn't reciprocate the gesture though.
"Hi Minho-oppa, you're gonna be my husband soon huh?" Krystal said cheerfully. Minho mentally
facepalmed himself.
"No way in hell am I engaged to this witch," Minho mumbled under his breath and looked at Krystal who
was still smiling. "I'm not marrying that witch!" he said as he glared at her.
CHAPTER SIX: THE SHE SOLUTION
The next day, Minho arrived in school with a gloomy face. Jonghyun chuckled at the sight and
approached his buddy. "Eyyy, what's with the long face early in the morning? Seriously man... stop it with
your everyday PMS," Jonghyun joked which only caused Minho to glare at him. The former stepped
backward and waved his hands in front of his face as if to surrender. "Whoa, okay~! What's up?"
"Aish!" Minho uttered and messed up his hair. "I'm gonna go crazy!"

"Wae? (Why?)" Jonghyun asked.

"The witch is back," Minho answered briefly.
"Oh, you mean Jung Krystal? She's here? In Korea?Again?"Jonghyun asked in disbelief. Minho just
nodded in response.
"What's up with the tensed atmosphere in here?" Taemin suddenly asked, popping out of nowhere.
"Krystal is back," Jonghyun answered for Minho. Taemin gaped at the news.
"And I'm marrying her," Minho said and facepalmed. Jonghyun and Taemin stood still, trying to process
what's happening. Three, two, one...
"WHAT!? YOU...YOU'RE MARRYING WHO!?" they asked at the same time. "KRYSTAL!?" they
added.
"Shh~!" Minho shushed them. "Yes, yes I am marrying that witch," he added and sighed. "But it was
totally not my will to do so! Dad arranged me with her," he continued.
"Who arranged with who?" Onew asked as he walked towards them. "Wazzup?"
"Hyung, Minho-hyung is engaged to Krystal," Taemin said as he pointed at the mentioned guy. Onew's
eyes widened as if threatening to fall out of its sockets. "Err... forced engagement actually," Taemin added
and chuckled.
"Oppa, are you serious?" Junssi asked, popping out of nowhere too. Key was behind her and nodded in
agreement.
"Yes and I hate it!" Minho said in frustration. "I don't want to marry that witch!"

"Well um... what should we do? Is there anything we can do to stop you from marrying Krystal-unnie?"
Junssi asked.
"Yeah like um... pretend you have a girlfriend and stuff," Key suggested. Taemin grinned and raised his
hand. Everyone turned to look at him.
"What if you say you got a girl pregnant? Your dad would surely cancel the engagement since you're
already gonna be a father and yeah... you know, you have the responsibility to take care of the baby
together with the 'mother.' What do you think, sounds good?"Taemin asked innocently. Everyone just
stared at him expressionless. Jonghyun chuckled and lightly smacked Taemin on the head. "Ow! Yah,
hyung what was that for!?"
"That's for being stupid, mushroom head. I mean, the idea's nice and everything but... you see... you will
get Minho killed if he says he got a girl pregnant. You know how much his father wants to keep his
family's reputation clean, right? And if Minho, here, says that then their reputation is ruined and you

know... he might even disown Minho," Jonghyun explained making everyone, except Minho and Taemin,
chuckle.
"Why not just stick to the plan of getting him a girlfriend?" Key suggested.
"Yeah and I'm sure a lot of girls would want to do that. We could easily pull it off," Onew said in
agreement. Junssi frowned and thought for a moment.
"That's true too but... the problem is... I don't think Minho-oppa would want a clingy girlfriend, you
know? If we do get him a fake girlfriend like for example um... Tiffany-unnie then uh... I think oppa will
be annoyed," Junssi said a matter-of-factly.
"Yeah, so we should get someone who uh... isn't too clingy. Someone who could act it all out perfectly,"
Taemin said and grinned. Jonghyun nodded in approval then turned to Junssi and smirked at her.
"I actually have someone in mind already," he said while he continued to stare at the younger girl.
Everyone, expecting for an answer, looked at him. "This girl.Yep, the sister of Onew. She should be the
one to pretend as your girlfriend," he added and smiled.
"NO!" Key suddenly said out loud which caused everyone to look at him weirdly. Key chuckled
awkwardly before saying, "I mean... no? Coz um... uh... your father... he... he knows her, right? I mean,
since she's the sister of one of your close friends. He would find it suspicious." Jonghyun just gave him
aare-you-kidding-me look.
"Why would he? It would be less suspicious since she's a close friend. It's just normal to have love
feelings towards someone close to you so it's not impossible to think that Minho and Junssi fell in love
with each other," Jonghyun said with a smirk. 'Haha oh my gosh! Key's expression is just so priceless! I
bet he's just jealous,' he said in his mind as he tried to stifle his laugh.
"But still!" Key tried to reason out.
"Seriously, you've got issues or something?" Onew asked in suspicion. "You act like a jealous boyfriend
or something," he added and smiled. Hearing this, Junssi blushed and smacked him on the arm.
"Oppa, shut up! And I think Key-oppa is right anyway," Junssi said and smiled. 'Oh my gosh, revenge is
too sweet~! This is for blurting out something so unexpected yesterday, unnie,' she said in her mind and
smiled evilly. "I have the perfect person in mind. She's not clingy and I'm sure she can totally pull it off.
She's got the charm and beauty and just... basically everything. I'm sure your dad would love to have her
as his daughter-in-law instead," she continued as an evil plan formed in her mind.
"Jinjja?(Really?)Nugu?(Who?)" Minho asked excitedly. Junssi giggled cutely at the sight of an excited
Minho.
"Choi Sulli," she answered coolly.

Perfect.

CHAPTER SEVEN: CONVINCING THE SOLUTION

"Are you serious? I'm one hundred and one percent sure that she won't agree on this," Taemin said as he
and the others, except for Minho, walked towards Sulli who was sitting at a table in the corner of the
cafeteria room, patiently waiting for them to come.
"Well we will just have to convince her," Junssi said. Jonghyun turned to her and raised an eyebrow.
"Why did you suggest Sulli anyway? Why didn't we just have you to pretend as his girlfriend?" he asked.
Junssi smacked his arm and stuck her tongue out at him.
"No way would I do that! Besides, I think she's the perfect girl to pull it off. If it was me I'm sure I'd
screw it all up," she defended herself. Onew chuckled and patted her head.
"For once, you do make sense," he teased causing his younger sister to pout.

"Hey guys, what's up? You all looked so serious back there," Sulli said when they finally reached the
table.
"Well uh... actually..." Taemin started but Jonghyun just held his arm to stop him.
"What's for lunch?" Jonghyun asked. Key gave him a when-are-you-planning-to-convince-her look.
"Sulli-ah, let's play dress-up!" Junssi suddenly said and giggled like a kid. Jonghyun and Onew face
palmed themselves while Taemin and Key just chuckled.
"A what? What are you, seven?" Sulli asked as she rolled her eyes. "I would never play that in my life,"
she added.
"Or how about we play pretend? Like, you and Minho-oppa pretend to be together," Junssi suggested
playfully. Sulli's eyes widened and then glared at the former.
"Why would I do that with him?" she asked and rolled her eyes yet again. Jonghyun laughed making Sulli
confused. "What's so funny?"

Silence engulfed them for a few moments before all of them suddenly grabbed her arms and gave her
pleading looks which startled her. "W..what's going on?" Sulli asked nervously and gulped. She turned to
look at Junssi whose hands are clasped together. Sulli sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "What
now? Please someone tell me what's going on! Why are you all friggin' holding onto me for dear life!?"
she asked in annoyance.
"Sulli-ah, we really need your help," Taemin pleaded while the others nodded.
"Yeah, especially Minho," Onew continued and pouted.Sulli giggled at how cute he looked but then
changed back to her poker face.

"What help, exactly?" Sulli asked as she tried to detach their hands off of her while raising an eyebrow at
them.
"Just like I said... pretend to be Minho's girlfriend," Junssi said softly. Sulli's eyes widened again and she
abruptly stood up.
"Mwo!?(What!?) Are you serious? Why should I!?" Sulli asked. They tried to calm her down. Taemin
pulled her down, making her sit down again.
"Because Minho needs your help. You see, he's engaged to this Krystal girl and he oh-so hate her so
much. He doesn't want anything to do with her and yeah... practically... since Krystal's father and Minho's
father are close friends, the latters father wants to help the formers father because the former's business
is going down. Or bankrupt," Jonghyun explained. Sulli shook her head and stood up again.

"Why me?Why can't it be Junssi!?"Sulli asked as she pointed at her best friend.
"You're like the perfect one for the role. C'mon, you could pull it off!" Junssi reasoned out and made Sulli
sit down again. "Calm down, it's not like it's going to be forever. It's just for the mean time until Minhooppa's father decides to cancel the engagement and stuff." This time, Taemin leaned towards Sulli and
held her hand.
"Pretty please Choi Sulli? Do it for the team?" Taemin pleaded and lightly squeezed Sulli's hand. Sulli
pulled her hand away and glared at the lad who just smiled sheepishly at her.
"What 'team'? Aish!!!"Sulli half-shouted in exasperation. "Why don't you let Tiffbrat or her posses to do it
instead? They'd be more than happy to do so."
"Please!" Jonghyun, Key, and Onew chorused and clasped their hands together. Sulli heaved a sigh before
talking.
"Not until he kneels down and begs for it. Now let's see if he would do that," Sulli said with a smirk.
"Deal?"
CHAPTER EIGHT: MINHO IS DESPERATE
"Hyung~!"Taemin whined as soon as he saw Minho. The latter turned to face the younger lad.
"What? Did you ask her yet?" Minho asked as he walked towards Taemin and the others.
"We did," Jonghyun answered. "But...she doesn't want to do it," he added. Minho's shoulders deflated as
if all his energy was drained out.
"But she said if you kneel down in front of her and stuff... she might give it a try," Onew said, trying to
comfort Minho.
"KNEEL DOWN!? What is she, a god or something?" Minho asked in disbelief as he shook his head. "No
way am I doing that!"

"Okay, it's up to you oppa. It's either you swallow you pride and just do that or you stop bothering us and
marry Krystal," Junssi said nonchalantly causing Key to chuckle. "Choose one."
"No," was all what Minho said before he walked away.

"Choi Sulli, please do it!" Minho pleads the next day as he stood in front of her. Seeing this, Onew and
the others laughed. "Shut up guys," Minho said, turning to look at his friends and giving them the stink
eye.
"So in the end, he would do it," Junssi quietly said.
"Why not choose Tiffbrat to do it for you? I'm sure she'd be more than happy to do so," Sulli reasoned
out. Minho just gave her an unamused expression. "What? It's true!"
"They're annoying," Minho said. What he did next shocked everyone. "PLEASE JUST PRETEND TO BE
MY GIRLFRIEND~" he said, kneeling down and his hands clasped together. "It won't last forever. After
the engagement is cancelled, we'll still be together for a little while and then eventually we'll just say that
we got bored with each other and decided to break up. Please!!!" he added desperately. Sulli chuckled at
this.
"You really are desperate huh? Why do you hate that Krystal girl so much anyway? Is she really that
hideous?" Sulli joked causing Taemin to laugh out loud.
"She's not called a witch for nothing, Sulli-ah," Taemin said in between his laughs.
"Shut up mushroom head. Let them talk," Jonghyun scolded the young lad and instantly, the latter zipped
his mouth shut.

"Only for a while, right?"Sulli asked after a moment of silence.

"Yeah," Minho answered.
"Give me one valid reason on why I should agree on this," Sulli said as she crossed her arms across her
chest. Minho stood up and thought for a while. "Kneel down while you think!" Sulli commanded and
rolled her eyes at him.
"Aish this tomboy is getting on my nerves," Minho mumbled under his breath and kneeled down.
"Hmm..."
"Time is running Mr.Jerkface," Sulli said, raising an eyebrow at him.
"Well um... b... because you're a good person? You wouldn't want your friend to suffer, right?" Minho
asked. Sulli looked at him in disbelief.
"Me? Friend?Your friend?" she asked.

"Well... uh..." Minho trailed off as he rubs his nape awkwardly. "Well yeah; your these guys friend so...
why can't I be your friend? I mean, of course we're friends!"
"Whatever. I'm just doing this because I'm a 'good friend.' We're breaking up as soon as your father
cancels the engagement," Sulli said and sighed in defeat.
"NO! Not right after that; are you nuts? He would find it suspicious if we did that. What about um... say,
three weeks after he cancels it?" Minho suggested and smiled at Sulli.
"Fine, fine. Stand up," Sulli said as she rolled her eyes. 'I can't believe I'm doing this. What have I gotten
myself into?'
"Just one rule though," Minho suddenly spoke. Sulli looked at him and urged him to continue. "You can't
fall in love with me."
CHAPTER NINE: TRANSFORMATION
"What are we doing here?" Sulli asked as soon as they reached the botique that afternoon.
"Buying clothes for you, of course," Junssi answered in a 'duh' tone.
"Why would we need to do that? I have clothes!" Sulli said and started walking away but Taemin just
blocked her way. "Yah, move."
"Nope; I'm doubting that the clothes you have are boyish clothes. You need a dress and all those girly
stuffs, got it? We wouldn't want to disappoint Mr. Choi that his son's girlfriend is... well, you know,"
Taemin said and smiled sheepishly. Sulli just rolled her eyes and hit him on the arm.
"Let's just get this over and done with," Sulli said and walked back to Junssi. "Let's go."

After half an hour of having tried at least a hundred different dresses, Sulli was as tired as heck.
Everytime she would go out of the dressing room and show Junssi, the latter would just shake her head in
disapproval. "That's too long." ; "That's too short!" ; "That's too revealilng... Mr. Choi wouldn't like
that." ; "Oh my gosh the color clashes with your skin color! Change it~" ; "Nu-uh. It so doesn't suit you.
Go back and try this on," were her comments whenever Sulli comes out.
"Aish for goodness' sake Lee Junssi, stop being such a critic! One more dress you disapprove and I'm
totally gonna walk out and just forget all about this girlfriend thing," Sulli said in exasperation. Junssi just
raised an eyebrow at Sulli and tossed her a baby pink dress with little diamond gems studded on the hem
of the skirt.
"Try this on; it kinda suits you since you look innocent and you have a babyface," Junssi told her friend.
Sulli took the dress and changed. After a minute or so, Sulli went out and showed Junssi.
"What do you think? I swear if you dis"

"Oh my gosh that dress perfectly fits you, Sulli-yah! We're buying that!" Junssi said as she squealed in
utter happiness.
"Finally!"Sulli said and went inside to change back into her old clothes.
"Uh-uh, who said you're gonna change?" Junssi asked as she held Sulli by the arm.
"What?" Sulli asked in confusion.
"You're going to wear that now. We're meeting with Minho-oppa's father tonight. C'mon, let's pay for that
and we'll get you some accessories and a fabulous make-over," Junssi said in excitement and pulled Sulli
towards the cashier. "We're gonna buy this. Please remove the tag after scanning it because my friend here
needs to wear it as in right now," Junssi said as she handed the cashier her credit card.
"That dress looks perfect on you, ma'am," the cashier complimented and smiled at Sulli. The latter just
bowed in response. "Here you go," she said and handed the credit card back.
"Accessories!" Junssi said and pulled Sulli out of the store.

They went to different accessories stores, trying to find a perfect match for Sulli's dress. After twenty
whole minutes of searching, they finally found the perfect shop for Sulli. Junssi bought a pair of dangling
baby pink earrings, heart-shaped necklace, and a baby pink headband with a bow on top. Again, she made
Sulli wear it after paying for it and dashed to the parlor. As soon as they reached the beauty parlor, Junssi
made Sulli sit down and instructed one of the staffs on how to put make-up on Sulli. After an hour of
putting make-up on her, Sulli was finally finished. She stands up and walks towards her friend.
"So...?" Sulli asked shyly. Junssi looked up and her face immediately lit up.
"You look pretty, Sulli-yah! C'mon now, the guys are waiting outside. I'm sure Minho will instantly fall in
love with you once he sees you," Junssi said in a teasing manner causing Sulli to hit her softly on the
head.
"Shut up," Sulli said and shook her head. "Let's just go."
CHAPTER TEN: THE MEETING
"Cat got your tongue?" Onew teased as he wiggles his eyebrows at Minho who'd been staring at Sulli ever
since she and Junssi came from the mall. He hasn't spoken a word since then. The four other guys
complimented Sulli while Minho just kept quiet and stared at her, making the lass shy for a moment.
"Excuse me?" Minho said, turning to Onew and giving him a poker face.
"You've been staring at little missSulli since a while ago. Don't tell me you've fallen for her?" Onew
teased and chuckled. "You guys look great together though but I don't think she likes you back, dude. I'm
sorry," he added. Minho glared at him.
"Shut up," he grumpily said.

"You guys are both aware that Sulli can perfectly hear you, right?" Jonghyun said while nudging Onew on
the side.
"Nah, Sulli is being little miss sleeping beauty right now. You think I'll be teasing this guy when she's up
and kicking? No way! I'd be beaten if I do that in front of Sulli. You know how much she hates being
teased especially when it concerns Minho," Onew said and laughed. "You guys should get along already,
ya'know?" he said as he pats Minho's shoulder. The latter just continued glaring at him and tapped Junssi
on the shoulder.
"Is your brother on crack or something? I swear that something's wrong with him," Minho said as he
rolled his eyes. Junssi and Taemin chuckled while Onew just glared at Minho and his sister.
"You shouldn't be laughing you know. This sorry excuse of a guy just insulted your dearest brother!"
Onew fake-scolded and feigned a hurt expression as he put his hand on his chest. Junssi scoffed and stuck
her tongue out at her brother.
"Dearest brother? Since when?" she teased making Taemin laugh. Sulli stirs in her seat and after a few
seconds, she wakes up.
"Gosh, you guys are so noisy," she mumbled as she sits up. Key patted her head and smiled at her.
"It's about time you wake up, Sulli. We're almost to Minho's house," he said and chuckled. "Prepare
yourself 'coz anytime soon you'll be meeting your 'boyfriend's' father."
"Oh, don't remind me," Sulli groans and fiddles with the hem of her dress nervously. "What do I say?
What if he doesn't like me? What if in just a blink of an eye, he'll instantly know that this is just a
scheme!?" she panicked. Jonghyun chuckled at her cuteness and pats her head.
"You'll be amazing, I swear," he said.

"Your dad is waiting in the dining room, young master," the head maid said as soon as she opened the
door.
"C'mon," Minho softly said and held Sulli's hand which startled the latter.
"What are you doing!?" Sulli asked in a low voice so no one could hear her but Minho. The latter just
turned to her and gave her aare-you-kidding-me look.
"If we want to tell my father that you're my girlfriend then at least, show him that you really are. Just go
with the flow," Minho said sternly and leads the way.

"Hello uncle!" Taemin said as he bowed. Mr. Choi chuckled and stood up to pat the former's head. The
other boys and Junssi greeted him too. He was about to pat Key's head when he noticed Sulli; a new face
for him. His face lit up and walked towards the girl.

"And you must be...?" Mr. Choi asked. Sulli gulped and opened her mouth to say something but nothing
came out. It was as if there was a huge lump in her throat that refrains her from speaking. Mr. Choi raised
an eyebrow.
"She's Sulli, my girlfriend," Minho said.
"You have a girlfriend!?" Mr. Choi asked in disbelief. He looked back at Sulli only to see her nodding
vigorously. "Well, she's cute and she seems like a pretty good girlfriend to me," he added and chuckled. "I
actually can't believe that you managed to find a decent girlfriend like her, you know," he continued,
making Minho roll his eyes.
"Y..yeah," Sulli said softly and smiled.
"A cute voice too," Mr. Choi complimented and chuckled.
'I swear, if I hadn't known any better, I would've kicked his guts already. He sounds like a freaking
pedophile!' Sulli said in her thoughts.
"But you're already engaged with Krystal, Minho," Mr. Choi suddenly said, making everyone keep quiet.
Minho just stared at him with a very unreadable expression.
"I've been with Sulli for quite a while already; I just didn't tell you. I've been with her and I'm attached to
her already. I can't just break up with her just because you want me to marry someone I don't even love
just for your benefit. Or maybe Krystal's father's benefit. It's their own problem, don't involve me. If you
badly want to help them with their financial problem, help them yourself but don't involve me," Minho
said and turned to leave.

"I'll just go to the toilet," Sulli said and walked out of the room. As soon as she was out of ear shot,
everyone turned to look at Minho.
"Are you okay? You've been quiet the whole time since the talk with your father earlier," Onew said, his
voice full of concern.
"It's just that... I can't believe how selfish my father is. He knows that I'm already happy wtihSulli... even
though, of course, it's just an act but you get me, right? He knows I'm happy with her and yet he still
forces me to marry Krystal. Gosh, if that man badly wants to help them, why doesn't he just marry Krystal
himself?" Minho said in exasperation and plopped down on the bed. "The plan didn't work out, huh?"
"I don't know. You just abruptly left without even hearing your father's reply so maybe he was about to
say that the engagement is off? That you could be with Sulli? We could only guess since you didn't give
the poor guy the chance to talk," Key said.
"Yeah, I could see that your father likes Sulli a lot, hmm? She hasn't even talked one single sentence and
yet he's already impressed," Jonghyun said with a smile. "That girl's amazing."
"Well, she did utter a word," Junssi, a bored look plastered on her face. Onew just gave her an unamused
expression before turning back to Minho.

"What now?" Taemin asked.

Meanwhile, Sulli was on her way back to Minho's room when she heard Mr. Choi's soft sobs. His door
was left ajar and so Sulli peeked a little. She saw him holding a picture frame while wiping his tears.
"What did I ever do wrong? Ever since you died, he'd been so cold towards me. He'd been treating me as
if I wasn't his father at all. Was it really my fault that you died? He has always blamed me for being the
cause of your death. I tried to do everything just to make him happy but... all my effort were in vain. I was
pleased that he actually found someone he could lean on. His girlfriend, Sulli, seems like a nice girl and
it's like she really loves him a lot. At least I'm satisfied that someone would be there for him when I'm not.
But it hurts a lot, yeobo. I want to have a proper conversation with him but I can't seem to. He's too
distant and it hurts me every passing day. It's as if I'm being stabbed all over again... I... I want him to be
happy. I will even cancel his engagement to Krystal just so he could be happy with Sulli. But would he
finally accept me when I do so? I... I just..."
Sulli couldn't take it anymore so she just turned away. She put her hand on her chest, feeling her heart
beating so fast. Seeing Minho's father at a very vulnerable state breaks her heart. When she met him
earlier, he looked like a strong man; a very influential one at that. It was as if no one could pull him down.
It was as if he didn't care about anything or anyone; not even his own son. She was mad at him earlier for
forcing Minho into still marrying Krystal when he found out about his son and Sulli. But all Sulli's
judgments were wrong. She misjudged him. The way he cried made her feel guilty. They were all fooling
him. She is fooling him by pretending to be Minho's girlfriend.
"Is it really right to go on from here after all? If we ever do get attached to one another and then one day,
he'll find out that it was all a fraud... would everything still be okay? Should we stop now before anyone
else gets hurt? All the man wants to do is help his friend. All he wants is for his son to be happy," Sulli
tells herself. It took all the courage left within her to look back at Mr. Choi's crying figure. "I guess I'll
just use this opportunity of being Minho's girlfriend to make him and his father okay again. This
scheming does have its perks too, I guess." And so, Sulli's determined to make Operation: Choi-FatherAnd-Son-Reconciliation a success. "Fighting~!"
CHAPTER ELEVEN: OPERATION COMMENCES
Guys, my father cancelled my engagement with the witch, Minho announced the next day to his
friends. Jonghyun patted his back softly.
So he did believe that you and Sulli have something, Taemin said with a smile.
Well, its just about time that man stops manipulating me, Minho said and smiled. Sulli, on the other
hand, just rolled her eyes.
If theres a witch here that would be you, jerk, she mumbled under her breath. Unfortunately for her,
Minho heard what she said causing him to glare at the lass. What?
Shut up, Minho said in exasperation and turned to his friends. So, until when am I supposed to be in
that kind of relationship with this tomboy? he asked as if the subject of the matter isnt right beside

him. Sulli bopped his head causing the latter to scowl at the former. Yah, you should be treating your
boyfriend nicely! he said.
I would if you were really my boyfriend, Sulli said and stuck her tongue out at him. Besides, if youre
not nice to your father then I wouldnt be nice to you. Respect begets respect, she added as she crossed
her arms across her chest.
Stop acting like a mother or something. I would never be nice to that man. Never in a million years.
After all that hes done Minho was saying but Sulli cut him midsentence.
Well, Im sure your mom would want you guys to make up. If she was still here, Im sure she wouldnt
want to see the two men she treasures the most with a gap in between. Stop blaming your father for things
he didnt do, Minho. Give your father another chance, Sulli said as she looks at Minho in the eyes.
Dont talk as if you know everything about me! Minho shouted and walks away.
Minho, please dont waste your chance. I would do anything to be with my father again, was the last
thing Minho heard before he was completely out of ear shot.
What did she mean by that? he asked himself.

Back at home, Minho went straight to his room without even greeting his father who was at the dining
area that time. He slams the door behind him and drops his bag. He then plops down on his bed while
rubbing his temples. Sullis words kept on replaying in his mind like a broken record. I would do anything
to be with my father again. Hes completely puzzled on what she said. Hed been thinking about it the
whole day and honestly, it gave him a headache. Suddenly, Minho sat up with eyes as wide as saucers.
Dont tell me her father is? he asked himself. He grunts and messes up his hair. Argh! Im going
crazy!

The next day, Minho sees Sulli, waving at him, by the gate. The former only rolled his eyes and planned
to ignore the latter but when he passes by her, she holds his arm. Minho just looked at her with a glare. He
tried pulling away from the lasss grip but she held him tighter.
Minho, please reconcile with your father, Sulli pleads. Minho frowns and looks away.
What is it to you anyway? Besides, what benefit would I get from that? he asks. Sulli just looks at him
in disbelief.
Minho, oh my gosh, you have everything! Okay, you may not have a mother but at least you still have
one parent to be there for you! Stop wasting your chance, Sulli says, tears starting to form in the corners
of her eyes. She blinks rapidly to stop her tears from rolling down. Minho looks at her.
And what, you dont have any? he asks nonchalantly. Realizing what he just said, his eyes widened.
I I didnt mean it that way. What I meant was

Youre right, Sulli says and looks at him in the eye. I lost my parents four years ago due to a fire. But
you, Minho, are lucky because at least you still have your dad. When my parents died, it was a day before
my father turned forty-two. Mom and I were baking a cake for him as a surprise. After making the cake,
we were about to put it inside the oven. My mom lit a fire using a match and threw it inside the oven so
that we can put the cake tray inside to bake the object. But something mustve gone wrong because as
soon as mom did that, it caused a big fire. My mom told me to go out and ask for help while she goes to
my father to aid him. My father was bedridden because of an accident so he cant really stand up on his
own. I kept yelling outside and asking help from our neighbours but they werent home. I ran to the next
block and asked for help. But but when we got back there, the fire was already huge. I kept screaming
because my parents were still inside. I wanted to go inside but the people were stopping me. Twenty
minutes later, firemen arrived but it was too late. My parents were trapped inside the house. They were
probably having a hard time since my father he couldnt walk properly. I I was Sulli suddenly
burst into tears, startling Minho.
Hhey please dont cry, Minho pleads. He wraps his arms around her and presses her body closer to
him. Im sorry.
CHAPTER TWELVE: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
"Are you okay now?" Minho asks as he sits beside Sulli that afternoon. Their friends just looked at them
weirdly.
"O...kay? Since when did our cold prince worry about Sulli?" Junssi asks in a teasing manner. Sulli just
scowls at her.
"So, have you made up your mind yet Minho?" Onew asks as he pats Minho's shoulder.
"It's time to swallow your pride. It's time to close the gap between the two of you, you know," Jonghyun
says as he smiles. 'And it's all thanks to Sulli; Minho is finally back in his senses,' he added in his mind.
"You're right, hyung," Minho replied and smiled back. He turns to look at the girl beside him. He holds
her hand and smiles at her. "Thank you for the wake up call, Sulli-yah," he says. The mentioned lass just
nodded while blushing.
"I want banana milk," Taemin says out of the blue which caused his friends to laugh. "Is anyone kind
enough to buy me one?"
"Buy on your own, mushroom," Jonghyun teases and chuckles. Taemin just puffs his cheeks in
disappointment.

"Minho-yah, good luck later okay?" Sulli said while walking alongside Minho.
"Yeah; thank you so much," Minho said and smiled. Sulli looked at him and smiled back.
"It's nothing. I just... I want you to grab the chance while it's there. We never know when your dad will
be... you know," Sulli said and chuckled awkwardly.

"Yeah," Minho said. "So, I'll go ahead," he said as he waved at Sulli. The latter just nods and waves back.
"Hwaiting!"

As soon as Minho arrived home he asked where his father is. The head maid smiled at him and said, "He's
in his room, young master. He's waiting for you." Minho nods and goes to his father's room. He knocks on
the door and when the man allowed him to enter, he stepped inside.
"You... you were waiting for me?" Minho asks nervously. 'Why am I so awkward? It's just my father.'
"Um... yes," his father answers. He stands up and walks towards his son. "Look, Minho I... I just wanna
tell you that... I'm... I'm sorry for not being the father figure to you. Sorry if I made you feel that I
abandoned you. Sorry if I looked as if I'm controlling you. I just... I just want what's best for you. Son, I
hope you find it in your heart to forgive me," he adds.
"No, I'm the one who should say sorry. I may not be the best son in the world but I promise you that I'll
try my best to make you happy. I... I'm sorry for being selfish. I'm sorry for always blaming you for
mom's loss. I want to start anew..." Minho says in a soft voice but audible enough for his father to
understand. Mr. Choi couldn't help but tear up. He envelops Minho in a hug. "I'm sorry."
"We never say 'sorry' in love, right?" his father jokes. Minho just hugs him tighter. "Let's just bury all
these bad memories in the past and start from scratch. What do you think, son?"
"Sounds good to me, dad," Minho replies. It's the first time in a very long time that he called his father
with that endearment. This causes Mr. Choi to cry in happiness. Minho cries with him too. 'If only mom
was here too. Mom, can you hear me? I promise you that dad and I will never bicker again.'
"Thank you," Mr. Choi whispers as he tightens his embrace. Finally the gap between them two is closed
and that's all thanks to a certain someone.

CHAPTER THIRTEEN: MEAN GIRLS ATTACK
"Sulli!" Minho calls out as he approaches Sulli. The latter turns back and look at him and smiles. Minho
stands in front of her then; he suddenly pulls her in his arms. "Thank you so much, Sulli," he whispers.
Sulli, on the other hand, blushed and just patted the lad's back.
"I'm glad that you and your dad finally made up," she softly says. "Thank you, Minho..."
"Huh? Why are you saying 'thank you' to me? What for?" Minho asks in confusion as he pulls away. Sulli
chuckles and ruffles Minho's hair. "I'm not a dog," the latter complains with a pout.
"Minho-ssi, thank you for not wasting your chance," Sulli says and grins at the lad in front of her. Minho
smiles back.

"Oh em gee, did you see that!? Minho just friggin' hugged her!" Tiffany says, obviously outraged at the
sight that happened right before her eyes.
We saw it, Tiff. Were not blind, Sooyoung says in sarcasm. Tiffany just glares at her and looks back at
Sulli who was happily talking to Minho.
But how did that happen? Minho never smiled to a girl besides Junssi. Hes always been the cold prince
but how come how come hes smiling at Sulli!? How come they seem so comfortable with each other!?
What happened!? What did Sulli make him drink!? Is that really Minho or did some aliens abduct
him??? Tiffany asks as she shakes Yuri.
Stop being a paranoid! Geez, would you calm down, Yuri says as she slightly pushes Tiffany away from
her. And whats with the alien thing? Are you nuts? she adds.
I warned her, I did! But why didnt she listen? Is that freak trying to test my patience!? Tiffany asks as
she frowns.
Relax, well do something about that later. Dont worry, Yoona finally speaks. Tiffany turns to look at
her and smiles.
Well, at least I have someone on my side, Tiffany says.

The day passed by ever so slowly. It was Physics perioda period hated by almost everyone. Junssi is
already half-asleep as she tries to concentrate on the topic. Truth to be told, she hated this subject as much
as she hates mustard. Sulli, on the other hand, is already bored to death. Then, a bright idea came to her
mind.
Sir! she says with an arm raised. The instructor looks at her and nods at her.
What is it, Ms. Choi? he asks.
May I go to the toilet, sir? I badly need to urinate, Sulli answers. The instructor sighs inwardly and
reluctantly nods.
Be quick, he says and turns back to the blackboard.
Yes, thanks sir, Sulli says and quickly runs out of the room. Finally, Im out! That was so boring, she
tells herself and smiles. Now to the toilet! she adds and marches toward the place. When she gets in the
comfort room, however, she sees the four mean girls.

Tiffany walks over to Sulli and smirks. Tiffany eyes the latter from head to toe. I dont know what he
sees in you, Tiffany suddenly said.

Whos he? Sulli asks in confusion. Tiffany clenches her fists in irritation. She then pushes Sulli, causing
the latters back to hit the sink area.
Stop acting innocent! What did you do to Minho? How come he hugged you this morning!? How come
he smiled at you!? Why was he so comfortable towards you!? He used to ignore you but what happened!?
Did you give him love potion!? Tiffany asks impatiently. Suddenly, Sulli bursts into laughter. Yah, what
are you laughing for!?
Oh gosh Tiffany youre so funny, Sulli says in between each laugh. Love potion? Seriously, what are
you, grade three? she mocks Tiffany. The latter flinches and closes her eyes.
Breathe in, breathe out. Calm down, Tiffany, Tiffany tells herself. This only caused Sulli to laugh more.
Shut up!
Okay, Sulli says and stifles a laugh. She straightens up and clears her throat before adding, I didnt
give Minho love potion or whatever, okay? Hes were he and I were um dating.
OMG Did you just say that you and Minho are dating!? Yuri asks in disbelief.
So, Minho is your boyfriend!? Youre his girlfriend!? Yoona asks, eyes widening at each word she
uttered.
Duh, of course, Sooyoung deadpanned. Yuri and Yoona just look at her with eyebrows raised. Well,
what else do you want me to say? Congratulations on your relationship? Sooyoung asks in
exasperation.
How Tiffany paused. She glares at Sulli. Stop being delusional because Minho would never date a
girl like you. I mean, look at you, youre so boyish. Your hair is so short. Youre not even pretty so how
could Minho possibly find you attractive? she asks.
Well, Sulli starts to say. Cupid is weird like that, I guess. We cant possibly dictate to our hearts that
we shouldnt love this particular person, right? she continues. Somehow, as she was saying that, her
heart was beating rapidly.
So you really think that Minho likes you!? Tiffany asks in anger. Sulli shrugs nonchalantly. Youre so
delusional! Tiffany shouts. Sulli only smirks back.
Is that all you can say? she asks with an eyebrow raised.
This should teach you a lesson! Tiffany shouts and raised her hand. Sulli instantly closed her eyes,
waiting for the contact of Tiffanys hand on her cheek. However, she didnt feel anything. When she
opened her eyes, she sees a guy holding back Tiffany by the wrist to refrain her from slapping Sulli.
Dont you even dare lay a single finger on her, he says threateningly.
MMinho, Sulli utters.
CHAPTER FOURTEEN: JEALOUS

"Are you alright now?" Minho asks as he sits beside Sulli. Sulli chuckles a little and gently hits Minho on
the arm.
"Stop overreacting, Choi Minho. That incident happened like a week ago. Get over it, man," she says with
a chuckle. Minho smiles at her and pats her head.
"Why? Can't I worry for my girlfriend?" he asks while pouting. Sulli looks away with an obvious blush
on her cheeks. "I mean even though we're not really a couple but... you know what I mean," he adds,
afraid that Sulli might misunderstand him. Sulli looks back at him and shakes her head.
"No need to explain," she replies with a soft chuckle.
"Sulli-yah," Minho utters. Sulli tilts her head to the side while giving the former a questioning look. "Do
you... wanna um... you know, uh... g..go out? I mean, later after class?" Minho asks shyly as he rubs the
back on his neck. Sulli blushes once again. "It's okay if you don't want to... I just... um..."
"No, I wanna go. So, after class then?"Sulli asks while smiling. She had to bite her lower lip a little
though to prevent herself from smiling real big; it might creep Minho out.
"Cool then! Let's meet outside the gate after class. I'll wait for you," Minho says.
"Okay," Sulli replies.

"I gotta go," Sulli says as she slings her backpack on her right shoulder. Junssi looks at her.
"Why are you in such a hurry? Let's go out and eat ice cream. We haven't been hanging out lately," she
says with a pout. Sulli chuckles and shakes her head.
"Sorry I um... I already have plans for today. I'll make it up to you, I promise," Sulli says with an
apologetic smile. Junssi sighs and nods with a sad face. "I'll see you tomorrow. Bye, Junssi!" Sulli says as
she waves at her friend. Then, she walked out of the classroom.
"Pfft. If I know she has a date with Minho that's why she's so excited," Junssi tells herself. She giggles
and whispers to herself, "Aigoo~ my best friend is so in love."

Sulli spots Minho waiting by the gate. His back was facing her. Sulli smiles as was about to approach him
when a very beautiful and slim girl beats her to it. The girl smiles at Minho and wraps her arms around his
neck. Sulli cautiously steps back a little at the sight she's witnessing. She clenches her fists in irritation.
"Aish... who is this girl!? Doesn't she know that Minho already has a girlfriend!?" she whispers to herself
as her eyebrows furrowed.

"Yah, Jung Krystal, let go. Don't touch me," Minho says coldly as he removes the girl's arms from him.
"What are you even doing here?"
"Is it so bad to visit my fiancein his school?" the girl, Krystal, asks with a frown plastered on her pretty
face. Minho just stares blankly at her.
"The last time I checked, I don't have a fiance. Well, at least not a witch," Minho says with gritted teeth.
"Now go away!"
"But oppa~" Krystal whines and hugs Minho. Minho closes his eyes, trying his best not to go berserk.
Minho mentally reminds himself that Krystal is a girl.
'Self-control, Minho. Don't hurt Krystal. She's a girl,' Minho says in his mind.

Suddenly, someone covers Sulli's eyes. Sulli holds the warm hands of the owner and uncovers her eyes.
She turned around only to see a smiling Onew. Sulli looks at the ground. Onew grins at her and holds her
hand.
"Come, let's go to the park. You're only hurting yourself," Onew says and with that, he leads her to the
park. They went out using the gate at the back of the school.

"Are you okay now?" Onew asks as he hands Sulli an ice cream. Sulli smiles at him and nods. He sits
down beside her on the bench and looks at her. "Don't mind the girl that was with Minho earlier. He
doesn't like her," he says. Sulli looks at him in confusion.
"Why are you telling me this?" she asks. Onew chuckles and ruffles her hair.
"Because I know you're jealous. I mean, why won't you be jealous? You are his girlfriend, for goodness'
sake!" Onew replies and chuckles. "So, just to ease you up, I wanna tell you that Minho doesn't have any
special feelings for that girl. In fact, he despises her a lot," he adds.
"I... I shouldn't care anyway. I have no right to be jealous. This is all just a fraud. I'm not really his
girlfriend," Sulli says while looking at her ice cream. "I have no right to be jealous. He's not evenmine."
"But... you like him, right?" Onew asks.
CHAPTER FIFTEEN: SUDDEN CONFESSION
"But... you like him, right?" Onew asks. Sulli looks at him in disbelief. "Right?"
"Um... that is..." Sulli nervously says as she plays with her fingers. This caused Onew to chuckle.
"Well, what do you feel when you see him? What do you feel when you're with him?" Onew asks as he
raises his eyebrows up and down in a teasing manner. Sulli looks at him then, averts her gaze back at the
ground. She sighs.

"Well, for these past few days that we've been hanging out he... he's really kind and caring. But of course
that's only because he doesn't want to be found out by his father that this is all just a scheme. It's obvious
that everything he's been doing was acting. I mean it's really impossible for him to like me too," Sulli
mumbles but Onew was able to understand it. Onew smirks at her.
"'Too'? What do you mean by that, Sulli-yah? Does it mean that you... like him?" Onew asks, startling the
lass. The latter just sighs and nods her head reluctantly. "I knew it," Onew whispers to himself with a
smile.
"But please don't tell him, Onew-ssi! I would die if you do," Sulli says with puppy eyes. Onew smiles at
her and nods.
"I won't," he replies.

"Good morning~!" Junssi greets Sulli as the latter steps into the campus. "How was your date yesterday?"
"You... you saw us!?" Sulli asks with wide eyes. Onew suddenly bursts out laughing.
"Yah, you weirdo stay away from us! This is girl talk," Junssi says as she pushes her older brother away.
"What do you mean? I was with Sulli yesterday," Onew says while laughing. Junssi stares at him in
disbelief then, looks back at Sulli. The latter slowly nodded. "See!"
"B...but wasn't she supposed to be with...?" Junssi in confusion.Sulli and Onew chuckle at the same time.
"Change of plans, I guess," Sulli replies with a shrug.

Just then, Minho approaches them. Sulli and Onew exchanged looks. Sulli looks at Onew as if to say,
'don't even dare' while the latter gives the former a look that says, 'try me.' Minho and Junssi watches as
Sulli and Onew communicate with each other using their eyes. Finally having enough of this (and he was
feeling a bit irritated albeit he doesn't even know why), Minho clears his throat to get the other two's
attention.

"Well, good morning to you too," Minho says with a frown. Junssi smiles secretly upon witnessing this.
"Uh... hi," Sulli says and smiles sheepishly, her cheeks eventually turning pink. Onew smirks.
"Hello there, boy-who-ditched-his-girl-yesterday," Onew says tauntingly. Sulli's eyes widened and
threatened to fall out of their sockets. He did not just
"Oh, about that Sulli-yah... um... I'm so sorry for not showing up yesterday," Minho says as he looks at
Sulli apologetically. Onew chuckles.

"Well, it's okay Minho. We saw you yesterday with someone else so we decided to have a date instead,"
Onew says with a serious face, all the while trying to stifle his laughter.
"Uh..." Sulli utters awkwardly. 'What is this guy saying!? OMG.'
"Well, I hope you had fun while I was there suffering!" Minho says in irritation. Then, he walks away
angrily. Onew could no longer help himself so he just laughs.
"Boy, that guy was...! Hahahaha oh my! The look on his face was so priceless!" Onew says while
laughing. Sulli just looks at him, dumbfounded.

"Junssi-ah, please go out with me," Jongin says with pleading eyes. The mentioned lass just looks at him
and smiles.
"Well, I'm not busy today so o"
"She's got plans after class," someone suddenly cuts in as he puts his arm around Junssi protectively. "You
have to go somewhere today, right?" he asks her.
"Key-oppa what are you"
"See, she's busy today and the next day and then the next! She'll never be able to go out with you because
she's too busy, okay!? Now leave," Key says sternly as he glares at poor Jongin.
"Uh... um... okay. I'm so sorry for disturbing you, Junssi-ah," Jongin says in embarrassment and quickly
walks away.

Junssi pushes Key away from her and glares at the latter. Key just looks at her innocently.
"Yah, why did you do that!?" she asks angrily with gritted teeth.
"I was just trying to protect you. You know, that Jongin guy is"
"Don't trash talk him! Why do you always push guys away from me!? Why do you always have to butt in
whenever a guy asks me out!? WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM, KIM KIBUM!?" Junssi shouts with tears
forming on her eyes. Key walks toward her to comfort herperhaps, to hug herbut the latter squirms
away. "I am so tired of this! Please stop doing this, Key; it's not even funny anymore!" she adds.
"But I was just trying to"
"Stop it! Key, stop doing this! Stop acting like my boyfriend 'coz you're not even one!" Junssi says. Key
just sighs.
"You're really dense, aren't you?" he asks in disappointment. Junssi just looks at him, puzzled and
completely clueless at what's really going on with Key.

"What do you mean I'm dense!?" she asks in irritation, with one hand on her hip.
"Well, this might give you a clue as to what I really feel," Key says and walks toward her slowly. Junssi
steps backward while Key continues to come closer.
"What are you"
"I love you," was all what Key said before pressing his lips on hers.
CHAPTER SIXTEEN: DAZZLING GIRL
"HE WHAT!?"Sulli asked as she stood up. She was totally shocked at the news that Junssi told her. "He
k...k...kiss...kissed you???" Sulli asked in disbelief. "DOES ONEW KNOW? OMG."
"Gosh, are you really acting like a girl now?" Junssi asked teasingly. "Anyway, oppa doesn't know about
us yet. But yeah Key and I are... together," she added shyly while fiddling with her fingers nervously.
Sulli suddenly squealed which made Junssi very shocked. "Did you just... do what I think you did!?" the
latter asked with wide eyes.
"B...but you guys look way beyond cute!" Sulli said, emphasizing the word 'way.' Sulli sat down and
sighed. "Well, I'm happy for you, Junssi-ah. At least you're on your way to your happy ever after," she
teased. Junssi gently hit Sulli on the arm.
"As if you're not," Junssi said and chuckled. "I think Minho likes you! I mean, did you see his face
yesterday morning? He was indeed very jealous and Onew-oppa made him jealous on purpose. Didn't you
notice?"
"Him?Jealous? Hah! That would be the day," Sulli said in full sarcasm. "He doesn't like me. He never will
and in two weeks time, we're 'breaking up' okay?" she added as she raised her fore and middle fingers to
make an imaginary quotation mark. "Didn't we say that after three weeks, we'll tell his dad that we're over
or something like that?" she continued. Junssi frowned.
"Well, then after your fake break up um... get together!" she said and chuckled. "You do like each other
right?" she asked.
"I don't know with Minho but... y..yeah, I do l...like him," Sulli shyly replied as she looked at the ground
as if it was the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen. Junssi smiled at her and giggled.
"You know, you need a make-over; a transformation!" Junssi said excitedly. She stood up and pulled Sulli
with her towards a random dress shop that sells pretty dresses.

They're at the mall, by the way. They went to the mall after classes and went to the food court to eat. And
that's where Junssi told Sulli about her and Key. Anyway, back to the present. Sulli was being pulled here
and there and being asked to try different clothes. After buying tons of dresses--ranging from pink to
yellow and all the light colors--Junssi dragged Sulli to a parlor shop and had her hair straightened and
dyed into dirty brown. After three hours of waiting, Sulli was finally done with her make-over. Junssi
smiled at the former in satisfaction.

"Waaa~ you are so pretty, Sulli-yah!" she gushed and hugged Sulli. "I'm sure Minho-oppa will instantly
fall head over heels for you!"
"Thanks for this, Junssi-ah~" Sulli said while hugging her friend back.
"No worries and besides, this is my advance birthday gift for you. It's nearly your day huh?" Junssi said
with a chuckle.

"You what!?"Onew asked, his nose flaring in anger. "AND WITHOUT MY PERMISSION TOO!"
"Geez, calm down hyung. It's not like it's you he kissed," Taemin said nonchalantly. Jonghyun smacks the
former's head. "Ow~"
"Sorry hyung but... I really can't help it. A lot of guys have recently been asking her out and I was so
jealous then, there~ I just confessed to her before someone else can take her away from me," Key
defended himself. Taemin nods while Jonghyun made Onew sit down again.
"Don't you even dare hurt my sister, Kim Kibum or you'll regret it," Onew threatened him with wide eyes.
Key chuckled while nodded. Onew was about to say something else when someone suddenly shouted
from downstairs.
"I'm home!" his sister announced and immediately dashed into Onew's room without the latter's consent.
"Tadaaaah~" she said and pushed the shy Sulli in front of all of them. They just stared at the lass with
their jaws opened wide. "What do you think, guys? Doesn't she suit a yellow sundress? And wow, doesn't
she look fabulous with dirty brown straight hair?" she asked them. Well, she was actually just indirectly
asking Minho.
"She looks... pretty," Jonghyun said breathlessly. Taemin nodded in agreement.
"You're looking good, Sulli-yah," Key said casually and smiled. Then, he looked at Junssi and winked at
her in which the latter only blushed in response. Onew noticed this and smacked Key's head.
"Hmph!"Onew utters and turns to Sulli. "You look really pretty, Sulli," he said and grinned at her. "Well,
how about you, Minho? What do you think? You haven't spoken," he added. Then, everyone turned their
attention to the quiet Minho who's really red right now. Sulli looked away shyly.
"I uh... you um..." Minho stammered and gulped. "You look really..." he paused and breathed in air.
"...beautiful."

'He said I'm beautiful,' Sulli said in her thoughts and smiled to herself. 'Choi Minho thinks I'm beautiful.'
CHAPTER SEVENTEEN: BREAK UP
"So, you're actually a girl huh," Jonghyun teased. Sulli blushed and playfully hit him on the arm. "That's
such a surprise."

"Shut up," Sulli said in embarrassment and looked at Minho who was looking at the ground as if it was
the most fascinating thing he has ever seen in his entire existence on earth. 'He... he said I'm beautiful.'
Sulli blushed when she remembered what Minho told her the other day.
"Hi guys!" Junssi greeted everyone with a wave. Key was with her too.
"Here comes the royal couple," Taemin joked only to receive a bop on the head from Onew. If only looks
could kill, Key would've probably been a dead meat by now.
"Will you relax, Onew? It's not like that dude is going to hurt your sister or something," Jonghyun said as
he pats Onew's back to calm him down. The latter turns to Jonghyun and glares at him.
"He better not," he said.

"Minho..." Sulli said to break the awkward silence engulfing the two of them. They were strolling around
the park hand-in-hand. Minho muttered something as a response and didn't bother to look at Sulli
otherwise he might just... melt.
'Minho, control your hormones. Remember that this is all an act and you can't fall for her. You can't, you
can't, you can't,' he chanted in his mind while looking at the trees they're passing by.
"...it's a..almost over between us, huh?" Minho head Sulli say. He turned to look at her. He was too busy
chanting to himself that he actually forgot that Sulli was talking to him. He gave her a questioning look.
"Umm... what?" he asked in confusion. Sulli chuckled.
"We only had to pretend that we're together for three weeks, right? T..then, you're going to tell your father
that we broke up," Sulli said with uneasiness.
"Oh, uh... right," Minho uttered and averted his gaze elsewhere. 'I almost forgot about that... she seems
eager to get away from me. I guess she... she doesn't like me at all huh?'

Little did they know that Krystal actually heard them. She was sitting behind a tree and relaxing when she
suddenly heard Minho's voice. She then decided to eavesdrop and that's how she knew that the two were
just pretending. "So, you've got yourself a fake girlfriend to break our engagement huh? Well, Choi
Minho you should've known by now that whatever Krystal wants, she gets. You're only mine." She
grinned evilly as she plotted a plan in her mind.

The next day.

Sulli was walking on the hallways when Minho saw her. The latter smiled and approached the lass. "Hey
Sulli," Minho greeted her cheerfully. The latter smiled back.

"Hey," she said softly.

"Wanna hang out with the gang later this afternoon? We're going to the cafe to relax and stuff. You know,
get our minds away from the upcoming exams," Minho said awkwardly as he rubbed the back of his neck
shyly. "Well, only if you want to..." he mumbled. Sulli smiled and nodded.
"I'd love to!" she said. Minho grinned.
"See you later then," he said. Sulli nodded and they parted ways after that. 'What am I so excited for?
We're going to be with the others not just by ourselves. Minho, get a hold of yourself. Remember that this
is all just a pretend.'

Later that day, Sulli skipped happily out of the classroom as she hummed a song. She suddenly stopped
when she saw a very familiar face. And if she's not mistaken it is her. Krystal.
"Hello Sulli," Krystal said with a smirk. You could see the dark aura surrounding her.
"Um... w..why do you know my name?" Sulli asked.
"You are Minho's girlfriend, right?" Krystal asked and forced a sweet smile. "His real girlfriend, right?"
"U..uh... um... of course! W..why?" Sulli asked nervously. 'I'm not liking where this is heading...'
"Oh, really?" Krystal asked and gasped softly.
"Y..yeah,"
"Well, you're one big liar Sulli."

"Oh, Sulli's here!" Junssi said with a smile when she saw Sulli walk inside the cafe.
"Hi!" the guys greeted her.
"Hey Sulli," Minho said and smiled. However, Sulli didn't return the gesture. Instead, she gave him a cold
look.
"Umm... is something wrong, Sulli?" Jonghyun asked worriedly.
"Are you... okay?" Minho asked in concern. Sulli scoffed which made them look at her weirdly.
"You know what, Minho let us just end this pretend relationship. I'm so sick of having to stick around you
all the time," Sulli said with a glare.

"W..what?" Minho asked. Even the others are confused with the way Sulli was acting.
"I'm so tired of having to pretend to like you, okay?! I can't take it anymore!" Sulli said with clenched
fists. Junssi looked at her best friend weirdly.
"S..Sulli, what are you saying?" Junssi asked for she knew that Sulli likes Minho. 'Why is she saying
these?'
"Let's..." Sulli paused and heaved a sigh. "...break up." She bit her lips to prevent herself from crying
because any moment from now she might just break down especially after seeing the flash of a certain
emotion in Minho's eyes. He's hurt and Sulli can't even do anything about it.
FINALE

Sulli went home after that incident. She collapsed on the bed and let her tears fall. She's sure of
what she saw on Minho's eyes the moment she asked for a break-up. It was pain. She can't even
quite understand why he was hurt. They were just pretending after all. But even though it was
only a pretend thing, Sulli can't help but feel hurt.She, after all, felt something real towards the
lad. If only Krystal hasn't threatened Sulli earlier that afternoon, then, she would've probably had
fun with Minho and the others. But Krystal just had to turn up and ruin everything.

"You are Minho's girlfriend, right?" Krystal asked and forced a sweet smile. "His real girlfriend,
right?" she asked, emphasizing the word real.
"U..uh... um... of course! W..why?" Sulli asked nervously.
"Oh, really?" Krystal asked, feigning a shocked expression.
"Y..yeah," Sulli answered as she bit her lower lip a little.
"Well, you're one big liar Sulli," Krystal said with a smirk. Sulli was taken aback by the
accusation of Krystal.
"W..what?" she asked in confusion. Krystal laughed in mock.
"Please stop acting dumb, Choi Sulli! It's making me annoyed even more," Krystal said with
clenched fists. "I know your ugly little secret so don't even try to deny it!"
"What are you talking about?" Sulli asked although she already knew where this was heading.
Krystal smirked in return.
"I wonder what Mr. Choi would say once he finds out that his son tricked him just so he could
get away from our engagement. I don't think Mr. Choi will be very happy," Krystal said and
shrugged. "And I actually thought they were already in good terms but oh, well... honesty is the
best policy, right?"

"W..what are you trying to s..say?" Sulli asked nervously. Krystal just shrugged for the second
time.
"Maybe it's best if I tell Mr. Choi about this evil scheme his son did," she said. She dramatically
sighed before saying, "It's a pity though if they will just end up fighting again because of... this."
Sulli stood frozen on her spot. She can't let that happen. She won't.
"No, please don't do that! Minho's been everything but happy when he still wasn't in good terms
with his father! Please don't let them fight again. I hate seeing the sad look on his father's eyes
and... I don't want to see Minho sad again," Sulli said in a soft voice. "He already lost his mother
so please don't make him lose his father too..." she added. Krystal smirked.
"Then, break up with him. Stop with all this pretend thing and let him be with me."

Sulli sighed after she remembered what happened. She sat up and wiped her tears. "This
probably means goodbye to us, right? Krystal will help Minho lie to his father about everything
and... and then, they're going to be engaged again. And I'll be... no! Don't think that way, Sulli. If
you love Minho, then, you'll do what's best for him," she told herself. Then, she grabbed her
phone from her bag and dialled a number.
"Hello?" the woman on the other side of the line said. Sulli smiled. She haven't heard this
woman's voice in a long time since she'd been to Korea.
"Auntie, it's me."

Few days have passed since Minho and Sulli's "break-up." Onew and the others felt a little
awkward whenever they would eat with Sulli and Junssi so Minho always ends up just walking
away and eating on his own. He knew he shouldn't have been acting the way he did but... he did.
Although it was clear to him that everything was just a pretend, he kinda hoped for something
more. He wanted to make their "relationship" real but his hope on that one had been crashed on
the day Sulli asked for a break up. He realized that she hated him enough to quickly end their
pretend relationship. He realized that he was the only one falling and it hurt. It hurt a lot.

It was a Monday that time when Junssi decided to visit Sulli in her little apartment. She wanted
to see how Sulli was doing only to be surprised that the latter was packing her stuff... in a very
big suitcase. Junssi quickly went to her best friend's side and asked her what was going on. Sulli
told her best friend that she was leaving on Saturday. She was to go back to the States to be with

her auntie to take care of her dying uncle. Junssi asked if Sulli would ever return to Korea but the
latter only smiled in reply. Guess not was what Junssi thought.

After that visit, she quickly went home to tell her brother about it. Luckily, his friends were also
there which meant that Minho was able to hear it. He acted as if he didn't care but he knew that
deep inside he was in pain... again.
"She... she can't just leave like that!" Taemin said in exasperation and raked his fingers through
his soft hair in annoyance.
"Although we're a little awkward with each other I... I don't want her to leave. She's a friend too,"
Jonghyun said. Onew just glared at him for saying something a little stupid. "What???"
"You aren't awkward with one another, idiot. If anything, you're the closest to her," Onew replied
while rolling his eyes.
"You know, she can't run away from her problems forever," Key mumbled under his breath but
Jonghyun was able to hear and understand what the former said. The latter nods in agreement.
"What are we gonna do?" Junssi asked worriedly. This time Minho cleared his throat and spoke
up.
"Let her leave. We can't do anything about it, you know? It's her life. Let her do what she wants
because, honestly, I don't really care."

"I'm really nervous about this!" Minho shrieked as he jumped off the chair after putting the last
piece of decoration on the wall. Jonghyun smirked while Onew and his sister laughed.
"I see, Minho. This is what you meant by "I don't care" huh?" Onew teased. Minho only glared at
him.
"I think we just misheard what he said," Taemin joked, causing everyone to laugh and making
Minho blush in embarrassment.

It was a Thursday, a day before Sulli's birthday and two days before her departure. Minho asked
his friends to help him decorate the gymnasium for a surprise for Sulli for her birthday. They
even begged their strict gym teacher to allow them to use the place for a night. Tomorrow night,
Minho has decided, he will serenade Sulli and ask her to be with him. He will confess what he
feels for her. He will take the risk of being rejected. It's now or never, right?

"You ready?" Junssi asked with a teasing smile. Minho gulped.

"Uh... yeah," he answered weakly. Key hit him on the shoulder, causing the latter to glare at the
former. "Yah!"
"Man up, dude. You have to answer confidently because if you don't, then, we're cancelling this
whole thing," Key threatened him. Minho's face turned pale.
"NO!" he protested. Everyone laughed.

Friday night.
Sulli was suddenly dragged out of her little apartment and that's all thanks to her one and only
best friend, Lee Junssi. Sulli kept on complaining and telling her best friend that she has to rest
because her tomorrow's already her flight. She was to leave at six in the morning. Junssi ignored
her and kept dragging her until they reached their school. Sulli stood there, dumbfounded.
"Uh... okay? What are we doing here at night?" Sulli asked, puzzled at the bizarreness of the
situation. Her friend only chuckled and pulled her inside.
"Today is your birthday, right?" Junssi asked out of the blue. Sulli just gave her a poker face in
response.
"So...? What does it have to do with me being here... in the... GYM?!" she asked. Junssi chuckled
once again and dragged her 'til they reached the center of the gym. Confetti suddenly filled the
place and a spot light was lit to where she was standing. Suddenly, another spot light appeared
and revealed the man she'd been dying to see before she leaves. 'Minho...'

Minho looked at her and smiled. The latter only gulped at the gesture. Music suddenly played in
the background and Minho started to sing a very calming song to Sulli. The lass just stood there
rooted to the ground.

Sulli stood still. She didn't know what to do. The man she loved is singing in front of her. He
may not have the best voice in the world but for Sulli, his voice was the only voice she wanted to

listen to and hear forever. But she couldn't. She's forbidden to do so for his sake. She wanted to
turn away and run away but her body didn't want to listen to her command. As the song was
nearing to its end, Minho walked towards her with a smile. As soon the song has finished, Minho
halted in front of Sulli.
"Sulli, you don't have to worry about others. Everything's been settled," Minho said softly. Sulli
just looked at him in confusion. What was settled?
"I... um..." Sulli uttered awkwardly. She was startled when Minho held her right hand and put it
on his chest, where his heart was. She could feel it beating rapidly. "Minho..."
"This time I'm asking you... Choi Sulli," Minho said as he looked at her in the eyes. She blinked.
"W..what?" she asked. She wanted to look away but it seemed as if her eyes were stuck at him.
Slowly, anything and anyone in her surroundings seemed to have disappeared and the only
person she could see was Minho.
"Will you be my girlfriend... for real? As a girl?" he asked and smiled at her. "I love you so
please let me make you mine." Sulli grinned and suddenly pulled Minho in a warm embrace as
tears escaped her eyes. The man of her dreams just told her he loves her! She pulled away and
wiped her tears. Then, with a chuckle she nodded and said yes.
"I would be forever yours, Choi Minho," she said. Minho grinned and pulled her towards him.
"And so will I," he whispered before closing the gap between them.
