And God wrought special miracles by the

hands of Paul:
The definition of a miracle from The American
Heritage Dictionary is: "An event that appears
unexplainable by the laws of nature and so is
held to be supernatural in origin or an act of
God"
I am asking God to work for and through the
people of God miraculously in 2016. One of the
greatest factors that God wants to see in us is to
BELIEVE!
Special emphasis will be placed on our prayer
lives, reading and studying the scriptures,
intensive fasting, expecting God to move, and
being available should God want to use you as a
vessel for a miracle.
There will be some miracles that God will perform
that dont involve us directly. He just does it
because He is God. There are other miracles that
God will do as a result of our obedience. Other
times we will speak the Word and things happen.
And further still, you and I are to stretch out our
hands in faith and God will work a miracle.

Say with me, Lord, its time for a MIRACLE

Food Pantry News
The Food Pantry Ministry is giving a special
thanks to the following members of Praise
Temple for their contributions towards the
Food Pantry for the month of January 2016.
They are Sis. Regina Burns, Sis. Chaka Dodson
and Sis. Carol Jones. May God remember you
for your good and fill your bounties with
goodies and favors.
Also the Praise Temple will be helping with
the food distribution on January 20.

December Update
The month of December was a celebratory
and busy month for Praise Temple. We
completed the renovation of our sanctuary
with fresh paint, new pulpit structure and
new carpeting.
We celebrated at our Annual Christmas
Dinner headed by Sis. Chaka Dodson and her
Committee. The Gospel Jazz Concert
presented by Elder Anthony Brown and
Footprints was a musical high with the best
professional musicians and singers.
The Toy Give Away headed by Elder Cara
Baker and helpers of Praise Temple did an
outstanding job of blessing children and
teens with over 400 toys and gifts. Over 160
children were helped.
Our service to the Rescue Mission was also
successful. The Youth and Young Adults came
out in mass, along with Eld. Sola Shokunbi,
Bro. Reggie Sampson and Bro. David Browne.
The Praise Team sung under Min. Sean
Clintons leadership and Bishop gave words of
encouragement to the homeless. We gave out
health toiletry kits as well. Thank you Praise
Temple members for all your service!

Join the Youth and Young Adults of Praise Temple
at 9:30 am every 3rd Saturday of the month as they
go out and minister to those in need through
prayer, encouragement and the giving of food.

Paint a Pancake Breakfast. Parents have all your
children here on Sunday morning at 9:30 for their
pancake breakfast.
