Shutterseal Information Sheet

Our shutterseal is an open cell polyurethane foam with self-adhesive
on one side.
Standard colour is white but grey can be supplied on request.
It is used for the prevention of grout loss through joints in the metal
and wooden formwork.
It is easy to apply and easy to remove.
We supply our Shutterseal in various thicknesses and widths.
The standard roll length is 10 metres - however on the non- standard
and thicker sizes it is supplied in 2 metre lengths.

COMPRI-ROD
Compri-rod is an extruded polyethylene cord. It is an inert product and has a skin surface so no
sealant adheres to it's surface.
Applications include backing in an expansion or contraction joint where the rod forms an optimum
sealant shape to minimise the strain and adhesion stresses on the sealant when subject to movement.
It requires no bond breaker. It can also be used for shaping in the furniture industry.

It is highly flexible and provides a permanent secondary seal behind the joint sealant.
Must not be left in the sun or stored in clear plastic.

Compri-sheeting is a cellular polyethylene foam, which has some remarkable properties that make it suitable for a
number of diversified applications. It is a flexible cellular polyethylene foam with high insulation and acoustic
properties. It is remarkably versatile and can be cut, sliced, punched, embossed, thermoformed and laminated to
various substrates or made self-adhesive. It can be used in air-conditioning, refrigerating, hearing, protective
packaging, household D.I.Y., automotive, solar heating and many other applications.
