This is an all-ages event -- sure to attract generations of classic rockers flas
hing back to years when musical invention knew no boundaries. Satisfied crowds w
ill relive the Who, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath with a laser light show and t
hree hours of jam-packed music.
The show opens with BARGAIN®, the Who Tribute ( http://mysite.verizon.net/resopa
dh/home.html ) BARGAIN® is the most requested Who Tribute band in North America.
Revered nationwide for performing Who songs and entire albums (such as Live at
Leeds ) exactly as they were originally recorded, Bargain recreates The Who like
few others can. Complete with on-stage theatrics that are trademarks of Who con
certs, including the spectacular Laser Show made famous in the Who s 1979 film "
The Kids are Alright", Bargain provides an experience which leaves audiences tru
ly believing that they are witnessing an actual Who concert from the 1970 s. All
the members are from New Jersey including Aaron Kipness on guitar as Pete Towns
end, Martin Beck on bass as John Entwistle and Richard Denninger on Drums as Kei
th Moon.
Next on the bill, the incomparable Custard Pie ( http://custard-pie.com/ ), cele
brating the music of Led Zeppelin. Vocalist Alan AM Rush, a seasoned veteran of
the club circuit who has performed with Yellow Brick Road and rock acts on the e
ast and west coasts, will be flying in to perform with Custard Pie, joining Kevi
n Nay on guitars, John Daggett on drums, Tom Santo on bass and Mike Palschakov,
who formerly worked with guitarist Ritchie Blackmore , on keyboards. Custard Pie
expertly navigates the driving rhythmical underpinnings that set Led Zeppelin a
part from other bands. Working in tandem, these dedicated musicians weave togeth
er the quintessential Zeppelin grooves that all rock fans grew up listening to.
With Theremin, and much more, they mysteriously build live performances into a f
renzied state and offer a surreal experience of Led Zeppelin’s timeless sounds.
With over twenty years of playing experience, they each bring something special
to the table as well as an ability to build upon nuances woven into the fabric o
f the works of Led Zeppelin.
Topping off the night, if you close your eyes you will believe you are listening
to Ozzy as the show wraps with Into the Void, the Black Sabbath tribute ( http:
//www.myspace.com/intothevoidtribute ). The band members of Into the Void were h
and-picked from several different tribute bands . Rick Woods on vocals, Andrew M
uller on bass from Black Bloody Black, Aaron Kipness on guitar who also plays wi
th BARGAIN®, the Who Tribute and drummer Tom Capobianco formerly of Black Dog an
d Sabbra Cadabra, who is also the ring leader of the 70s tribute fest. Into the
Void captures the sound of Black Sabbath in a way that will remind fans why Blac
k Sabbath was one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time.
This is a fantastic 70’s Tribute experience for audiences of all ages with a rar
e opportunity to see authentic recreations of three timeless bands -- The Who, L
