Pray for the women who are currently living at the Yavapai Gospel Rescue
Mission. These ladies are often away from family and friends during the
Holiday season. Pray that they will live today in the joy of what Christ
came to do in His life, death, and resurrection. In an effort to care for them
by bringing their needs to the Lord and to consider them more than just in
passing, maybe youd consider setting an alarm and praying for them at 3
different times of the day today.

Saturday
BIble Reading: John 20:10-18; Revelation 18; Job 39; Haggai 1-2
To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of
his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by
his power, so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and
you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 1:11-12
As you think about New Years Resolutions this week, remember Pauls
words to the Thessalonians and ask yourself these questions about your
resolutions:
Paul prayed for the Thessalonians resolutions to do good. How can you
pray about your resolutions this year?
Paul prayed that God will fulfil their resolutions. How can you depend on
God to fulfill your resolves for good?
How is your work in accomplishing resolutions a work of faith?
In what way are your resolutions geared towards bringing Jesus glory?

Rev 14:12 says, Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who
keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. The Lord calls
His people to endure. Tell the Lord today if you are struggling to endure
by faith in any way. Is there sin that weights you down? Are there health
issues that you deal with? Honestly, humbly, and dependently ask the
Lord for strength for today. Ask Him for increased faith today.
