Glasgow Caledonian Universitys Energy and Power Systems Research Group
has extensive expertise and experience focused on energy resources and how
they can be harnessed and used effectively and efficiently. This includes:
renewable energy resources such as solar and wind; electricity generation,
use and storage; thermal energy technologies, microgeneration and electric
vehicles.
The groups expertise is diverse and spans
various fields including the following research
areas:
Electrical energy and power plant diagnostics
Energy in the built environment
Energy supply for remote communities
Renewable energies
Harnessing energy effectively
The Energy and Power Systems Research Group
is led by Dr Stas Burek, who has over 25 years
experience of research, consultancy and teaching
