Second, the City Attorneys Office has retrieved the Administrative Record from a CEQA
suit filed in 2007 regarding the Army Base project (East Bay MUD v. City of Oakland,
Alameda County Superior Court Case No. RG07362522), which includes Army Base
project materials which the City expects will be included in the Administrative Record for
the instant suit. You may make arrangements for inspection and/or copying of these
materials by contacting the undersigned (phone: 510-903-8806; email:
ksiegel@bwslaw.com) or Deputy City Attorney Selia Warren (phone: 510-238-6524;
email: swarren@oaklandcityattorney.org). We expect it will be most expedient to
arrange for a third party vendor to copy the documents in the 2007 Administrative
Record for inclusion in the Administrative Record in this case.
Third, we are gathering files from City staff, e.g., Planning Department and Army Base
team, which you might inspect and/or copy together with the 2007 Administrative
Record materials.
Finally, note that the City has received Earthjustices Public Records Act request, dated
October 26, 2015. While the City will be further reviewing that request, note that
documents responsive to that request are identified and included with this letter.
