Our focus Our goals

We focus on communities that have one or all of: As it relates to economic development, are to improve the general standard of living, reduce poverty, create dignified employ-

The end result

Would be to train people within the community (over the duration of 5-7 years) on how to successfully execute the actions
listed above and allow them to take over executing the services that we have provided. We would be available to offer consult-
ing services if problems arose in the future. This action allows the community to be truly self-sufficient and would allow us to
move on to the next community that is in need of our services.

What is our microfinance program?

Typically, we work through established organizations that serve women. Our Janice program includes emotional support,
microcredit loans, savings and business education services, training in technology and agriculture and the opportunity for
participants to connect with their sponsors. Sponsors would be allowed to correspond with participants by sending letters of
encouragement through our office. This is the helpless end line of t his paragraph. No widow lines, no orphans.

How does our microcredit program work?

After an individual is sponsored in our program, we provide classes and information sessions to help women understand the
microcredit process. The monthly cost to sponsor a participant is $14 a month. A portion of your contribution will provide

direct financial assistance to the participant. The remaining funds will offset the provisioning of business and leadership educa-
tion and job skills training so she can continue to support her family in the future.
