Berghof CPU Rebooting

Introduction how to reboot a Berghof CPU module by using the blue button on the front cover
1. In most cases the CPU module will restart if the 24V/DC power supply to the CPU module will be
switched off and on again.

Therefore disconnect the power supply to the CPU module and wait approximately 5
seconds. After this time connect back the power supply.
The CPU will restart. Check if the CPU has switched over to RUN mode:
- Status LED 1 green glowing
- Status LED 2 green blinking
- Status LED 3 green glowing
- Status LED 4 off
- Status LED 5 off

2. Sometimes the CPU module does not start automatically. In these cases the CPU module must be
restarted by using the blue button on the top of the front cover.

3. The STOP of the CPU module will be indicated by the following LED code:
- Status LED 1 green glowing
- Status LED 2 off
- Status LED 3 off
- Status LED 4 red glowing
- Status LED 5 off

4. To start the CPU module manually perform the following steps:

Press the blue button once for approximately 1 second

After releasing the blue button the following LED code will be visible for approximately 3
seconds:
- Status LED 1 green glowing
- Status LED 2 off
- Status LED 3 off
- Status LED 4 red glowing
- Status LED 5 red glowing

After this time the status LED 5 will be switched off and approximately 3 seconds later the
status LED 3 will be switched on. The following LED code will be visible for approximately 2
seconds:
- Status LED 1 green glowing
- Status LED 2 off
- Status LED 3 green glowing
- Status LED 4 red glowing
- Status LED 5 off

During this time (status LED 3 and 4 are glowing) press the blue button once again for
approximately 1 second. The CPU module will perform a complete restart.
Check if the CPU has switched over to RUN mode:
- Status LED 1 green glowing
- Status LED 2 green blinking
- Status LED 3 green glowing
- Status LED 4 off
- Status LED 5 off

5. If the CPU module has switched back to normal (CPU in RUN mode) it is necessary to perform the
data transfer at the CMC1/CMG2.
