Aportaciones de Marx al feminismo

La cuestin a estudiar es si existe algo que sea til y enriquecedor en Marx
para un feminismo que an contina desarrollndose. Teniendo en cuenta las
numerosas crticas acerca de la teora econmica de Marx y su concepto del
trabajo en el que se excluye el trabajo domstico y la actividad de las mujeres,
en lugar de volver sobre los debates especficos en torno a la disputa entre
marxismo y feminismo, quiero centrarme en tres puntos relativos a las
lecciones que podemos extraer de Marx, y que son tiles, incluso
indispensables, para los aspectos prcticos del feminismo contemporneo.

1. El papel de la vida real, donde las tesis de Marx sobre Feuerbach

resultan significativas tanto para la investigacin como para la crtica que
realiza el feminismo de la ciencia dominante (mainstream). Las
consecuencias de estas tesis tienen mucho que ver con la subjetividad,
la educacin y el aprendizaje, la poltica etc. Analizamos los argumentos
de Marx contra Feuerbach con los que rompe con el materialismo
tradicional, con la metafsica y con el esencialismo. La importancia
otorgada a la praxis y a la experiencia estn en la base de la
investigacin feminista.
2. El concepto de trabajo en Marx que por una parte ha dado forma a los
debates feministas hasta el momento y, por otra, tiene que ver con la
actual crisis de la sociedad del empleo, tema que debera recordarse
con ms exactitud y manejarse con mayor precisin. La crtica feminista
se han centrado mucho en sus teoras del plusvalor. Desarrollamos los
argumentos de Marx sobre el trabajo y su alienacin en la historia para
mostrar como el feminismo puede aplicarlos al concepto de trabajo
entendido no solo como trabajo asalariado sino en un marco ms
amplio.

3. La elaboracin de la versin marxiana de la familia y el trabajo

domstico, en cuanto que coincide, en trminos de su unilateralidad, con
la crtica ms general a la economa poltica considerndola como un
punto ciego desde el cual no se articula suficientemente la crtica de la
formacin ( y la forma) de la sociedad capitalista moderna.
