Introduction:ABriefHistoryoftheOccupiedAlAhwaz
On the twentieth of April 1925, a great historic intrigue was happened, in which the Colonial
Britain had planned for it, and colluded to execute it with Persia, which named Iran, from this
historical intrigue results was : the occupation of a genuine Arab diameter belongs to the Arab
homeland ,whichisAlAhwaz(IE:theownedlandwith theknownborders),anameremainedin
circulation until the reign of Ismail Elsfwi (in 1501), as the Persian named the AlAhwaz:
Arabistan (IE: Arab countries). Andthe Iraniansnamed it:Khuzestan(IE:TheCastlesand Forts
Countires) to what was built by the Muslim Arabs in this region from castles and forts after the
Qadisiyahbattle.

The AlAhwazhasanareaof

(Syria, Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon). AnditsArabpopulationnumberismorethan 12million
people. And it's most important emirates are: AlMohamara, AlQwasem, AlMansour,
AlAbadelah, AlAli
and AlMraziq. And the number of its cities 24 city, with a total number of
villagesmorethanthreethousandvillages.

The History records that the Arab existence in (AlAhwaz) began with the appearance of this
land spot on the world map since the third millennium BC, in theformof people groupscoming
from Yemen and the Arabian Peninsula, and this Arabpresencehad alreadybeentherebefore
any human existence and never ceased since that time, until the Arab tribes coming from Iraq
and the Arabian Peninsula
resided there, including: (Bani Taraf), (Bani Kaab), (Bani Tamim),
(Alkather)andothers.

As the history record that the Arab Gulf with its east and west coasts, was a vital field for the
Arab tribes before Islam, and the Arabian social nature stayed there through ages and
centuries.

AlAhwaz represents the most fertile lands in the region, stretching along the east coast of the
Arab Gulf , from the north of Shatt alArab to Hormuz Strait
in the south (It's a strait that
connects the Arab Gulf and the Oman Gulf) for a long way (850 km), and crosswise (150 km),
whicharethefertilelandswhicharetopographysimilartothenearbyIraqiandArablands,while
separate between it and Persia countries (Iran), Zagros Mountains series and the towering
rugged Bakhtiari Mountains that are topography dissonant with it (IE: with AlAhwaz). This
clearly means that Iran has no coast on the Arab Gulf, which remained a Persian dream that
hasn't come true until the occupation of the AlAhwaz in 20/4/1925, when its last prince
(AlSheikh Khazaal Alkaabi) has fallen as a victim of a British Persianplotwhenhewasinvited
to a British party on a yacht in Shatt alArab, where he was arrested with his companions bya
group of British and Persian officers , and was taken to a prison in Tehran, while the forces of
(Reda Khan Pahlawi) began with the military attack and the occupation of AhwazwithaBritish
help.

As AlAhwaz
occupied by Iran represents a seriously strategy importance geographic,
economic, political and commercial, as its extension of the north and east coast of the Arab
Gulf, makes it the linkbetweenIranandtheoutsideworldthroughitsports andseaoutlets. And
what gained AlAhwaz an extra seriously importance is when they discovered oil and natural
gas in it since 1908, which dripped the saliva
of the West and Iran, and it was one of its
occupation reasons, as Oil in the AlAhwaz, represents (87%) of the Iranianbased oil, and the
extracted gas from the occupied AlAhwaz, represents (90%) ofthetotalIraniangas..Notethat
Iran is considered as one of the richest countries in the world to produce those vital materials
whichareproducedfromthisArabland...However,theIranianelectricalpower,(74%)fromit,is
being produced from AlAhwaz natural sources, AlAhwaz is also famous for its abundant
waters, as it passes by, five large rivers, its most important rivers: Karoon, AlKarkhah and
AlGerahy, and its water represents half of the Iran stocked water used to drink and irrigate..
Due to its territory fertility, AlAhwaz has been known for the cultivation of wheat, rice, sugar
cane, citrus and palm trees, as its production of wheat represents (50%) of the total Iranian
production
,
and from general grain(40%)oftheIranianproduction,andfrom thedates(90%)of
theIranianproduction,producedbymorethan14millionAlAhwazipalms.
Since their occupation of AlAhwaz, the Persians did and still are doing a package of arbitrary
unjust actions to obliterate the Arab identity of Ahwaz people, and from what they did (and still
aredoing)are:

1Prevent the teaching of the Arabic language and the confiscation of

all the country's Arab
books, even the books that are owned by ordinary people and the imposition of Education in
Persian as well as the imposition of Persian language on Ahwaz courts andpreventtheArabic
languageinthesecourts.

2The imposition of the Persian military rule and abolition of the Arab rule in all forms:political,
administrativeandjudicialinstitutions.

3The nonrecognition of the selfdetermination right forAlAhwazipeopleanddeprivedthemof

themostbasicpoliticalrights.

4The seizure of the Arab agricultural land and the drinking water that has beenconverted into
the Persian areas, and establishing Persian settlements to change the demographic
composition oftheArabandcontrollingthecountry'swealthbygranting

5Executing campaigns to make the country Persian by changing the Arabic names of the
landmarks, cities and street names to Persian, changing theArabicfeatures incities, cuttingoff
some of the land and annexed to neighboring citiesinIrananddisplacingtheArabfamiliesand
seizingtheirlandstoreplacethemwiththePersianfamilies.

6Using the worst repression and persecution methods against the Arab people by imposing
heavy taxes, displacement, imprisonment, detention, pursuit and murder. That's why the
occupied Ahwaz
witnessed more than 15 popular uprising and revolution since its occupation,
includingthefamous(newly)nationwideuprisingin2005.

The Right of SelfDetermination in the Charter and the Decisions of

theUnitedNations:

Source:theRightofSelfDeterminationResearchintheInternationalLaw
The beginnings of the matter was at the San Francisco Conference, when the Conference
ratified on the amendments that are related to the discussions of the four countries, which by
the form of paragraph (2) of Article (1) theobjectivesandprinciplesof theUnitedNationswas
made, and stated that "Developing a friendly relations among the nations based on respect for
the principle of equal rights ofpeoples, andthateachnationhasitsownselfdeterminationright
andtotakeotherappropriatemeasurestostrengthentheuniversalpeace".

In addition to the article (55) of Chapter (9) on the international economic and social
cooperation, including the following : "Desiring in creation of stability and wellbeing conditions
that are necessary for a sound and friendly relations among nations based on respect for the
principleofequalrightsofpeoplesandthateachofthemhastherightofselfdetermination".
This principle in Article (55)isconsideredasthebasisforthecreationofstability andwellbeing
conditions that are necessary for therelationsof friendshipand peaceamongothernations, but
the ambiguity of this text content led to the conflict's continuation in the interpretation of this
principle and the conflict's continuation stood alone between the colonial and the anticolonial
countries.

In light of worsening the conflict, the United Nations General Assembly called on the
Commission on Human Rights in its decision number "421" issued in December 1950 to

develop recommendations on ways and means to ensure the peoples' right of
selfdetermination.

As it stated in its decision number "545" issued in February 1952 on the need to include the
Convention on Civil and Political Rights and the Convention on Economic, Social and Cultural
Rights, in a special article that guarantees the peoples' right of selfdetermination, then it
released on 16 December 1952 Decision number "673" which was considered whereby the
peoples' right of selfdetermination is a necessary condition for enjoying all fundamental rights,
and it is incumbent on everymemberoftheUnitedNations tomaintainthe selfdeterminationof
othernationsandrespectit.

Then the Assembly followed the decisions' issuance to affirm the peoples' right to
selfdetermination, after the reports submittedbytheCommissiononHumanRightsthroughthe
Economic and Social Council, issued on 14 December 1960 Decision number "1514" on
Granting of Independence to the Colonied Countries and Peoples, which featured as a special
importance as it became a central part, all the subsequent od the United Nations Decisionson
the right of selfdetermination, and it stated the peoples' right to selfdetermination its political,
economic, social and cultural fate without discrimination, to take close steps to give the
nonindependent people their full independence, and not to take any excuse to delay it, and
otherwiseconstitutesasadenial ofthefundamentalhumanrightsandcontradictstheCharterof
theUnitedNationsandhinderstheinternationalpeaceandcooperation.
The General Assembly collected all the decisions that were already taken by the case of
selfdetermination in one decision to try to be clarified, in Decision No. "2625", adopted
unanimously in November, 1970, which was includedaspecialpermitontheFriendlyRelations
andCooperationamongStatesinaccordancewiththeCharteroftheUnitedNations.

The General Assembly confirmed in Decision No. "2787", issuedon12December1972,onthe

peoples' right to selfdetermination, freedom and independence and legitimacy of itssystemby
all means available to it and consistent with the Charter of theUnitedNationsandrequestedin
decision no. "3970" issued in November, 1973, of all Member States to recognize the peoples'
right to selfdetermination and independence, and to providematerialandmoralsupportandall
kindsofassistancetothepeoplesthatarefightingforthisgoal.
Meanwhile 33 European countries and the United States signedinAugust1975inHelsinki,the
agreement that resulted from the Security and Cooperation Conference inEurope, thefirstpart
of it included a declaration of principles that should guide the relations of the participating
States, and agreed on 10 principles, the eighth principle stated on "the right of
selfdetermination".

Then the General Assembly issued in its decision number "2200" in December 1966, the
international Covenants adopted by the Commission on Human Rights, the first Covenant on
the Civil and Political Rights, that has become effective in March 23, 1976 while the second
covenant on economic, social and cultural rights, that has become effective inJanuary19763,
5

as the first article of both conventions included the right of selfdetermination as follows: "All
peoples have the right to selfdetermination, and with the virtue of that right, they have the
freedom to determine theirpolitical status, andthe freedomto secure theireconomic, socialand
culturaldevelopment".
On 14 December 1962, the General Assembly adopted in its decision number "1803", which
stated the peoples' inalienable right to sovereignty over their naturalwealthandresources, and
considering it from the popup of the peoples' right to selfdetermination, andtodeterminetheir
political status and to secure their economic health, Without prejudice to any obligationsbased
on the requirements of the international economic cooperation, based on mutual interest, and
principlesoftheinternationallaw.
With thesedevelopmentsleftbytheUnitedNationsandtheinternationalpracticedecisions,and
between differing positions of the States and scholars of internationallawthatarecontinuingto
the present time, The right of selfdetermination has become enjoying the international rules
which confirmed by Vienna Convention on the Treaties Law in 1969, as long as this right is
enjoying the legal rule character, it is considered as one of the public international law rules

ArticleXLI:ArabStates
The National Resistance Brigades of AlAhwaz Eagles respects the Arab countries and pulls
on their hands and thanks them on their Arab nationalist position against the Iranian Persian
enemy occupier of the land of AlAhwaz. The past and present showed us all the intentions of
the Persian thought and greed in the Arab countries in order to filter the Persians revenges of
every Arabian person. The AlAhwaz land and the Arab people of AlAhwaz became the "first
victim"oftheArabnationforthisliquidationsince19250420,theoccupationdayofthePersian
State to AlAhwaz. Since that time, the Arab people of AlAhwaz have put on them the worst
"arbitrary" practices " of displacement, deprivation, torture and execution, claimed the lives of
thousandsofArabpeopleofAlAhwaz.SowehopethatallArabcountrieslookfortheAlAhwaz
cause and consider it as an issue no less important than the Palestinian cause.
We also hope
from the kings and the Chiefs of the Arab states stand beside our just cause and support it
medially, culturally and morally, we also expect the Arab nationalist attitudes in favor of our
causeandcutlinkswiththePersianenemygreedyintheArabcountries.

The National Resistance Brigades of AlAhwaz Eagles confirms to all Arab countries, thatthe
AlAhwazi issue "is not the cause of a particular religion or doctrine", it is the issueofaforeign
occupation to the AlAhwaz land and itspeople.Sowe"wouldliketonote"thattheArabpeople
