Ruta Huayna Picchu, Huchuy Picchu Y Templo De La Luna

The clouds and mist finally broke for the first time, and the sun managed to peek through the sky
and briefly settle on the ruins below. Since I assume you have limited time, I recommend purchasing
your tiques further in advance. It's the MP + Huayna Picchu ones that sell out weeks and months in
advance, so keep this in mind if you want to hike up Huayna Picchu. If you are concerned about how
you might be affected, you could head to Ollantaytambo, which has ancient ruins and things to see
(you'll stop in this town recursos tiles on the way to Machu Picchu too). I think that I would like to
hike up Huayna Pichu at diez am, BUT I DON'T WANT TO FEEL RUSHED. At Machu Picchu, we did
the Montana walk, which I had bought en lnea in advance.
I think one day was plenty - I got there in time for the opening, hiked Wyna Picchu then Machu
Picchu and was done by around 1-2pm and then rain started to pickup so we left. I've seen several
posts here recently from people who have successfully booked the tiques so I'm not sure what's
going on. Here is the agent who I would get the tickets at my hotel - they have an office inside tambo
del inka (spg hotel).
I sent them the necessary info on Friday, and on Sunday I received an e-mail with a jpg of the tickets
and the invoice/credit card charge. The hotel said they had a copy of our tiques on archivo for us,
but I also went to the Machu Picchu website and entered the ticket numbers. So the added cost was
about dlares americanos 10-$ 15 per tique IMHO worth every cent not to see Operacin
denegada one more time.
I booked only 1 night to see Machu Picchu and the last thing I wanted was to arrive and find out that
I had been scammed and there were no tiques for me - or that I had to go to some other town to pick
them up. I also thought their markup was too high. After so many attempts, I had the process down
except for the last step, which was getting the actual tiques.
It you want to have the peace and quiet after the crowds, stay there that night, then get up before
dawn and do the Sun Gate (no ticket required) before the crowds. I have just managed to book for an
MP + HP 1G tique and it went without a hitch, after following the amazing advice on this
website! Desde Cuzco (Cusco en peruano) reservamos la entrada para subir a Huayna Picchu.
As an alternative, hopeful visitors can reserve their tickets on the official government website , print
out the reservation and pay in person at any national branch of the Banco de la Nacin de Peru,
located throughout the country. When the quota was first enacted, some unwitting providers arrived
at the entrance with autobuses full of tourists and were unable to enter because they had not
purchased tiques ahead of time. Arranging tiques this way often comes with an additional service
charge, but it is an appealing option for the financially risk-averse or those without the verified by
Visa security service enacted on their credit card.

Both the Instituto Nacional de Cultura in Cusco City and the Machu Picchu Cultural Center in
Machu Picchu Pueblo (formerly Aguas Calientes) sell tiques. So, if you follow the steps listed below
in point three, you can book your own tickets in a few minutes, save yourself upwards of $ 45 per
tique and spend that cash on something else.
Hi Danny, the last time
I was at Machu Picchu was over diez years ago so it's beyond my expertise.
Marmelita and I plan to go to Cusco, Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley and the pink salt mines among
other destinations in December. We ordered our tique a few days in advance, and when we spent our
second day in Machu Picchu, we purchased the tiques the morning of (granted, it was about 5 am).
Aguas Calientes has a little town square, and there's an official tourism office where you go to
purchase your tiques to the park. Since our tickets had been purchased in advance we didn't have to
go to the tourist office to purchase the tiques.
