COMMITTEE REPORT ON ITEM NO. 074

LETTER OF MR. GIL Q. TAOJO, PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS,
DECA HOMES ESPERANZA HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION, TIGATTO, DAVAO
CITY, REGARDING A GROUP OF MEN BARGED INTO THE HOUSE OF MR.
GILBERT CADIZ, CAUSING THE DESTRUCTION OF THE FRONT AND BACK
DOORS AND THE WHOLE FRONT JEALOUSY WINDOW GLASSES, WHICH
WAS ALLEGEDLY ORDERED BY DECA HOMES MANAGEMENT, FOR
APPROPRIATE ACTION OF THE BODY.
BACKGROUND
This pertains to the letter of Mr. Gil Q. Taojo, President of the Board of
Directors, Deca Homes Esperanza Homeowners Association, Tigatto,
Davao City, regarding a group of men barged into the house of Mr. Gilbert
Cadiz, causing the destruction of the front and back doors and the whole
front jealousy window glasses, which was allegedly ordered by Deca
Homes Management, for appropriate action of the Body.

HIGHLIGHTS
During the Committee Hearing dated November 20, 2015, Councilor Victorio
U. Advincula Jr., Chairperson, shared inputs on the role of the Committee and its
mandate in accordance with the existing laws and ordinances.
The Chair called the applicant, however, the latter is not present during the
said Committee Hearing.
Hence, the Chairperson recommends to archive Item No. 074 because of the
non-appearance of the applicant, not only on the above-mentioned Committee
Hearing, but also during several previous Committee Hearings.
RECOMMENDATIONS
The Committee recommends to archive Item No. 074 regarding the letter of
Mr. Gil Q. Taojo, President of the Board of Directors, Deca Homes
Esperanza Homeowners Association, Tigatto, Davao City, regarding a
group of men barged into the house of Mr. Gilbert Cadiz, causing the
destruction of the front and back doors and the whole front jealousy
window glasses, which was allegedly ordered by Deca Homes
Management.

A RESOLUTION TO ARCHIVE ITEM NO. 074 REGARDING THE LETTER OF MR.

WHEREAS, this pertains to the letter of Mr. Gil Q. Taojo, President of the Board
of Directors, Deca Homes Esperanza Homeowners Association, Tigatto,
Davao City, regarding a group of men barged into the house of Mr. Gilbert
Cadiz, causing the destruction of the front and back doors and the whole
front jealousy window glasses, which was allegedly ordered by Deca
Homes Management.
WHEREAS, during the Committee Hearing dated November 20, 2015, the applicant
is was not present.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved as it is hereby resolved, that the City Council of
Davao recommends to archive Item No. 074 because the applicant is present during
their schedule Committee Hearings.
RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Office of the
Secretary of the Sangguniang Panlungsod and all other offices/departments
concerned, for their information and guidance.
