The nearest airport is Schipol Airport, Amsterdam. Take a train from the airport to Amersfoort. Take a bus
or taxi from Amersfoort to Soesterberg.

By public transport:
From Schiphol Airport / Amsterdam to Amersfoort
Take a train from Schiphol trainstation to Amersfoort. The final destination of the train will be ENSCHEDE
or GRONINGEN/LEEUWARDEN. The trains will be listed on the time tables under their final destinations.
On the platforms and on the trains themselves the final destination will be listed.
The Schiphol trainstation can be reached from the airport arrivals hall by underground passage. After
having passed customs look out and follow signs to the trains. Coming up from the underground
passage the ticket office will be on your right hand side. A ticket from the airport to Amersfoort will cost
9,00. Money can be changed at the airport or in the trainstation (right hand side after coming up from the
underground passage).
Travelling time from the airport to Amersfoort is approximately 45 minutes. The trains for Amersfoort (see
also above) leave .21 and .51 past every hour. Ask for the platform number at the ticket office or look at
the time tables. The destinations/departure times of the trains should also be indicated at the entrance to
the escalators that go down from the station hall to the respective platforms.
From Amersfoort to Soesterberg
Upon arrival at Amersfoort trainstation follow the exit signs. There are buses from the train station to the
conference centre. Coming out of the main exit you will find the bus station on your right hand side.
Buslines 52 or 56 will bring you to the conference centre (see time table below). The bus stop is opposite
the conference centre. Ask the driver to warn you where to get off. Traveling time is about 14-18 minutes.
You can buy a ticket for the bus (a so-called strippenkaart) at the ticket office at either Amersfoort or
Schiphol trainstation. Ask for a 15 strippenkaart (costs 6,40). Buying a ticket in the bus is possible but

more expensive. Upon entering the bus you should tell the driver where you want to get off and he will
stamp your ticket for the corresponding amount of strips. The remaining strips can be used for the return
trip or for any other bus/tram/metro trips in any place in the Netherlands.
From other directions
Train to Amersfoort via Rotterdam/Utrecht or Arnhem. From Amersfoort trainstation to conference centre
see paragraph above.
